This is after bringing it to their mechanic 40 minutes from where I live at least 3 times, costing me time and money and causing me to go weeks without a car, having to borrow a car from relatives or with a loaner car that I had to do almost daily maintenance on (which by the way, was immediately put up for sale on the lot when I dropped it off- my condolences to whoever ended up buying it). After spending $2600 on repairs one month ago, I'm now looking at another $4500 in crucial repairs. After giving them the benefit of the doubt for months and ignoring my gut feelings, I no longer for a second believe the dealership did not know about these issues. I know there is always a risk when buying a cheaper used car, but this is unreal. Everything about this experience from the moment I drove off the lot has been an absolute nightmare and has not only left me in debt that is going to take years to get out of, but with a vehicle that is unreliable and untrustworthy and has already cost me more money to fix than it did to buy. I trust them with all my vehicles and know I am not getting any FAST one being pulled on me like I've felt places elsewhere. I am always pleased about the service received and dollar spent even when not always happy with the auto issue itself. I've had everything from transmission replacement to ball joints, shocks & struts, brakes, AC, Janky Chevy door handles fixed, various check engine diagnosis' and other repairs to regularly needed oil changes. Like cars do, they need TLC and their components do not last forever and require work and upkeep. And every time something is needed, there is ZERO question where my ride will be repaired. They over…read moretorqued the wheels down to the point where my 1400 ft-lb electric impact could not take off the overtightened lug nuts. Additionally, the overtightened lug nuts warped my rotors. I had to go back and ask this shop to reinstall the wheels correctly. And finally, I now need an extractor kit just to replace the front rotors since the retainer screws are stripped. thx (i had recently replaced the retainer screws by hand, so I knew they were in good condition before this shop mangled them) And finally, they are way overpriced for this sort of service.

After bringing my Trailblazer here I would feel completely comfortable making the decisions on my own. (see photos) They give a comprehensive file with pictures and additional insight to the problems, which is extremely helpful. There were a few questions I had about a couple recommended issues and Pete (who completed my inspection report) was able to clarify them with ease and honesty, so I was able to save money on not having to do that repair. It was more of a riding comfort suggestion so it wasn't a big deal since it doesn't bother me. I received a link to the reports via text and e-mail. For the estimate, you can go down the list, which included each cost, and just click "approve" if you want it done which is very convenient when you are at home. If you have questions call! Like I said above they are very easy to talk to and there was never any feel of pressure. Being pregnant during COVID is a concern but the inside was very clean including the shuttle service vehicle and I was very comfortable being there. They have a drink station there or Dunkin Donuts is next door. I also thought it was neat that they have a big picture window with bar height stools and counter that you can watch the mechanics in the shop. I don't think I've ever seen that before. After the repairs, I called around for other pricing estimates and CBA was around what others were. Some areas were less and some were slightly more. One being the fluid flushes. CBA was about $20-30 more expensive. I am a fairly frugal but I would still choose here versus saving $20 somewhere else, especially if you are getting other work done which could equal out the total price. Plus, you have the photos to prove why the repair needs to be done versus someone basically telling you to trust them.. This is now our first choice for automotive repairs. My son and I have had to learn a very valuable lesson in that NOT all are out to serve the good of the community. We purchased a vehicle from them less than 4 months ago....only to find out after the fact that somebody cleared the check engine light....but unfortunately the codes were still there(11 of them to be exact)as were the troubles. We sunk $2200 into the car for repairs only for it to end up with a blown motor. So NOW we're stuck with a $6000 loan on a vehicle that does not run....nor will the extended warranty that THEY sold us fix it....so we are out that $1500 too!!
