Okay away I went with my blind trust - We had a "gentleman's agreement" to begin with (no contract - just a payment). Total transparency::::Perhaps if my circumstances didn't change midway (I got offered a car midway through our chats and was just looking to sell my much newer car vs at the beginning of the 'agreement' I was going to buy AND sell through him). Also my encounter with him was at the beginning of the COVID pandemic (mid-March) which didn't help timing / the offers by the dealers. Overall "customer service" was ok, but because of the change of circumstances midway and COVID beginning from the dealers - resulted in a 'tough shit' from him (he compared it to a lawyer - even if you don't win you still pay) Fine but I didn't even use any of the resources / offers he found - and I was out hundred of dollars with no real return (I didn't even use any of the dealers he got a quote at to sell the car). In hindsight I wish I would have asked more questions or there would have been a partial payment to get quoted in the cars and then the final payment once the transaction occurred. Overall - ask questions and know what happens in all possible scenarios.

Then he started tailgating me and was literally about a foot from my rear bumper, the traffic in front of me slowed down and I got rear-ended. I got out of my vehicle to talk to the driver and he told me I slammed on my brakes on purpose. Then while the car waited for the cop to arrive he started scrambling. He didn't even have his tow hooks properly secured he started hooking up his tow hooks properly because that could have caused damage to some other vehicle, or even worse if someone was on the motorcycle they could have gotten hit by these big hooks. He had a female with him. We parked on the shoulder I walked up to the tow truck to take a picture of the company name and the female started yelling at me to get into my car. Then she told the state trooper how I grabbed the door handle I was trying to get into the tow truck which is a complete lie. I don't understand if you are an operator of a tow truck why you wouldn't keep your distance from other vehicles and you would tailgate so close. The company is MN towing.com out of Corcoran which had a second name of MN Home Solutions Incorporated

They price their cars fairly and they encourage you to take to own mechanic for additional inspection. Even went the extra mile to work with us on our trade-in as well - that was a welcome surprise! Highly recommended. We will definitely reach out to the folks at 411CarLine again when in the market for another high-quality used car.

POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE!…read more We purchased a vehicle from Chris at 411Careline and thought we purchased a very clean, low mile reliable vehicle. Prior to purchase, Chris was very kind and non-pushy, which I appreciated. After test driving the vehicle we decided to purchase. After purchase we brought the vehicle to the Ford dealership for an oil change, it was then when we were made aware the car had multiple pending safety recalls - one recall was to prevent the car from starting on fire! These recalls were pending for over 3 years! We made the appointment to get the recall completed and during the appointment we were made aware that the recall was taking longer than normal because the car had a junkyard motor in it! Furthermore, the dealership gave us a list of items that were wrong due to the replacement engine being installed improperly. The dealership advised us that we would need to pay out of pocket to get the car back as the tech needed to fix issues before they could complete the recall safely. Here is a list of items the dealership noted wrong: * Found studs for exhaust mount to transmission missing * Transmission mount rubs on transfer case * Found starter shimmed away from transmission * Exhaust heat shield on body near sub frame loose * Transmission cooler tube bent and rubbing on trans case * Vehicle has junkyard motor installed (noted by all paint markings on engine) * Would require several more hours of tech time to piece together car and find all missing / wrong items This was 1 week after we took delivery of the car. I was shocked and felt taken advantage of. I immediately called Chris to notify him of my findings and told him we would like to return the car and was surprised when he told me he would have to contact an attorney to see "how to handle this". Chris told us multiple times they have their cars inspected by 3rd party mechanics prior to them listing for sale and swore all their cars are clean. Come to find out they pay a mechanic $30 to drive it around the block to make sure it is not leaking fluids and the brakes work. Chris told me he would get back to me, never once apologized or asked detailed questions about the dealership's findings - I knew we made a mistake at this point. It took Chris a week to get back to us, he then sent a long email telling us they will not take the car back as the laws in MN do not require them to do so. They do ask if you want a 3rd party mechanic to look over the car, at the buyers expense, but I felt comfortable buying from them and the fact they had it inspected before they sold it was good enough for us. What a mistake! I would suggest you skip this dealership as they clearly take on cars that have issues or have had issues in the past and are unwilling to make things right if they find out otherwise. Right now, we have a vehicle that has a motor with unknown miles and lots of issues that need to be fixed. If anyone is interested in more details, I am happy to provide documentation.

Very pleased. One suggestion though...appraisal should be an add on…read more I was considering buying a car from a dealership 2 states away. Called Lemon Squad and paid the $330. 2 hours later the inspection began. Results were in my email 36 hours later. Inspector did a thorough job and included 72 pictures including one if the code scanner results. They also measured the tread depth of each tire and included all findings in an easy to ready report. Lemon Squad saved me the disappointment of flying to Illinois in winter to pick up a sports car only to learn the tires were barely legal after the dealer ad and salesperson repeatedly assured me that everything on the car was mint. The dealership has since refused to replace the tires (3/32nds) or discount their price as they are selling the 2001 Corvette Z06 with 22,000 miles as-is. Thank you, Lemon Squad, for helping a guy out.

I found major brake vibration on my first drive, a significant oil leak, and power running board issues almost immediately after taking possession. Instead of explaining how these were missed, Lemon Squad just kept sending the same canned response about their inspection being "visual and non-invasive." I wasn't asking for a warranty--I was asking why obvious issues weren't caught. The customer service was just as disappointing as the inspection. I won't use them again. They could improve by not having canned responses such as it's visual and non invasive. In one of the photos you could zoom in and see cut wires. I diddnt catch it because I didn't think I needed to indirect the inspector's work. All in all it was a mistake ever trusting them! So yourself a favor and just look up local mechanics and ask them to go do it.
