I purchased a used van from BedRock Motors. Within the first week, it developed serious safety issues, including hard jerking and a failure to brake where the vehicle accelerated instead. The vehicle was returned for repair multiple times and was out of service for over 30 days. When it was returned to me, the same braking issue continued. Both my spouse and I experienced the problem, confirming it was not driver-related. I was told critical repairs were made, but the service documentation did not match what I was told. Do not buy from this dealership. I drove the jeep that I bought from them for 10k miles and the engine blew. We had troubles as soon as I drove it home and they picked it up and supposedly fixed it. The service warranty contract they sold me would not pay out. I went through the Attorney General of MN after lots of run around. I finally was refunded for the service warranty contract but now I don't have a vehicle until I pay for the new engine and I still have to make car payments on it. I have bought many cars over my lifetime. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I have lost income because of them. we brought a car from them and within a week the replace rear brake pad light came on. They said it wasn't covered under the warranty but they could probably do something. I took the car to the dealership which is a ways away from Plymouth. They called later and said it needed rear brakes and it would be $650. I said I thought you were going to cover it. He said he could ask the big guy but he was out of the office until the next day. He called back the next day and said they would not do anything. I wish they would have told me that in advance. I had to drive up there twice and find someone to drop me off and pick me up. Read all the reviews before you buy. They really don't care about you once they take your money. Texted and got no response called and the sales person that I dealt with said he would get back to me. Never did. Called again and he stated he talked with his manager and said they would talk to there interior person that comes in and does work for them on Fridays. Waited and got no response. Buyer beware! I found a 2013 Ram truck at Bedrock. The exterior looked great, clearly they steam cleaned the engine and sprayed a lot of silicone in the engine compartment. The interior was clean and the truck ran well. I made the purchase and started to take steps to make the truck last longer. The truck bed was beat up badly -- that should have been my first clue. I knew that I was going to get a spray-in bed liner so I was less concerned. I washed the truck once a week. I had plans to put bed rails on, upgrade the headlight system and the exhust. At about nine months rust started to appear on the rear wheel wells. I took the truck to Macco and asked what it would take to fix it. They asked, fix it like the last owner so you can sell it immediately, or fix it right? Apparently you can cover up rust for a while cheaply but it will come back within a year. Macco would cut out the wheel well and engineer a fix that would last a couple of years for two grand +. I would never go back to Bedrock. I make a horrible mistake, read more

The Rogers dealership is the worst dealership I have ever been to. I purchased a truck from them that was a complete lemon and they knew it. It ran fine off the lot and for about a week. I brought it to a friend I know at a garage for an inspection. I found out the oil pan was leaking, the automatic running boards were shot ($2000 a piece to replace), the 4 wheel drive engaging mechanism was actually broken (which would have caused a lot of damage had I actually engaged 4 wheel drive) and they tried to super glue a chip in the window, so I couldn't even get it fixed properly. Emailed dealer in Monticello, Bedrock motors regarding 2005 Ford Escape, with 159k miles, 4wd for $3795 on Thursday 11/12 in the evening. Got a quick reply from Ray Hansen via email with additional pictures and info about the truck within about 1 hr. (That's great, good start!) I worked all day Friday, but I did get a phone call from Ray on my voicemail that the Escape WAS AVAILABLE and they had other cars/trucks that I may be interested in as well. I emailed Ray back Friday evening (after their posted hours that they were closed) that I would be stopping in Saturday morning to look at vehicle. I also told Ray in email I would give him a call Saturday morning before I left. I receive email Saturday morning from Ray, that he is in the office now (no mention that Escape is sold, did it even exist?) at 8:28am. I call him just before I leave at 8:55a and he tells me vehicle is sold. I am putting this review out there because others may have the "it just sold, but I have these other cars" experience they can figure it out quickly that this is typical of bait and switch dealerships that you want to avoid. read more

Steve Evans is the BEST! Earlier this month, my husband and I found a vehicle we were interested in, and contacted the Rogers dealership. Steve was very friendly and helpful from the beginning. He got the ball rolling very quickly, and called me back within an hour to tell me we were approved for the loan, and we picked up the Acadia the next morning. They were even able to accommodate us by taking in our trade-in, which was a huge relief to us because we found out it wasn't in the best condition. Steve went above and beyond to give us the best possible customer experience, and he also gave us an excellent deal on an extended service plan so that we have peace of mind for the next 5 years that we don't have to worry about any costly repairs. Do NOT buy a car from them. My boyfriend and I went here about a month ago and bought a car. There has been nothing but problems since. First of all we couldn't lock it for the first month of using it because they had never fixed the locks before purchase and they were waiting on the parts, I should've took it as a sign. The next thing is that the check engine and a whole bunch of other lights came on and and the car was literally not drivable, they towed it there for us, which was nice. But it took them a few days to look at the car, when in reality it should've been at the top of their list because we had just bought it and were already having major issues. We had bought coil packs and spark plugs knowing that was the issue and they lazily only installed one of each, when we had them all there. After that it drove home just fine, next morning check engine light is back on and there's more issues. They don't offer a warranty and stupidly I didn't read that part or wasn't told, so basically there is nothing they will do for us. The guy on the phone said "we don't have a blank checkbook to be writing out for people", okay I get that but you sold us a car for $12k that isn't reliable and already not drivable again, it really isn't fair. The communication between them and I was horrible, I had to keep calling and reminding them I exist and am having problems. I am so done with this company and how I was treated as a young female throughout this entire process. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!! read more

Went to look at a 07 Ford Focus at the Blaine location after carefully researching the car. Started it up, brake light was on and pedal was extremely soft. I told Kip the salesman about it. After a stammer or two he said well someone else just drove it, it was fine. I drove it anyway and liked it otherwise. He agreed to have it fixed. I picked it up a couple days later, the light was off and the pedal felt better. 3 weeks later the brake light and abs light come on. I made a appointment with my shop and emailed Bedrock to see what they could do to help. I was told nothing unless I bring it to them and then it's up to the manager whether it on them or not. Well their shop already failed. After a new master cylinder and a used abs pump it's now working. My shop did there best to cut me some slack on labor but it was still nearly 900 bucks. I can't prove it but I suspect they knew about the brake problems and just wanted to unload the far. I also found mice in it and have NEVER had any previous problems with them in ANY car I've ever had. read more

This is your stereotypical dishonest used car dealership. I drove 2 hours to purchase a vehicle that Joe Freund told me only had a scuff on the bumper but was otherwise very clean. When I got there I discovered that both bumpers were covered in rust pitting, there were spots of paint bubbling off due to rust, there was an actual rust hole in the body and spray paint covering rust. I had the opportunity to purchase a truck from Jon Pedersen. He was not pushy and straight forward, no BS which I enjoyed a lot. I would recommend to anyone that likes none fluff personality to work with Jon. I was there with my wife and my two children under the age of 3. All the staff was accepting of my children running all over the facility. Those who have active children as we do, knows how hard it is at times to keep them entertained. I also worked with Wanbli taking care of the paperwork. He was awesome took no time at all to get the paperwork out of the way. I was out of state and he was able and willing to take care of my states paperwork as well. I have bought in MN before and most dealers careless to do my states paperwork.
