We were visiting Savannah and saw Jazz'd in ads, walking down the street, so...we decided this would be a good place to have our friends meet up with us. It turned out just perfect. Good food, good wine, good tapas, good live music, and great company. There were four of us and each couple got the "Tapas for Two" deal, 60 bucks include soup or salad, 4 tapas, dessert and soft drink/coffee. Such a deal. The Menu was fabulous and unfortunately, we couldn't taste everything on the list. Guess we will just have to come back soooon, but not soon enough. Hubbie and I ordered: Soup: He - Black bean soup Me - Five Onion Soup - Better than French onion! This one has 5 different onions, french baguette, Gruyere and Asiago cheese. YUM Tapas: Cuban rubbed beef satay - 4 skewers! Now that is more that tapas. Pretty big portion. It was seasoned very nicely. a bit of spice, tender beef. Lovely. Chorizo stuffed Mushrooms - stuffed with smokey chorizo, spinach, goat cheese, leeks and topped with provolone, oven baked. Juicy and full of flavors. Seafood Paella - a medley of shrimp, Prince Edward mussels, chorizo, simmered in white wine and saffron sauce - very lite and fluffy, yet filling. Garlic and Basil Shrimp n' Grits - Grilled shrimp on a bed of creamy stone ground grits with tomato bouillabaisse. Drinkie Drink: Penfolds Thomas Hyland Syrah - full flavors of juicy red plums, dark berry and chocolate. Dessert: Creme Brulee and Bread Pudding - both were excellent. HUGE portions, again... We went in for drinks and music. We were told we could sit in the bar area since we were not having food. That was perfectly fine. We settled in at a high top at the bar. Within 10 minutes we were told we could not sit there. They were anything but crowded to begin with. We left and went to Good Times Jazz bar. Much better service and atmosphere. This place is a great jazz bar. Just make sure you bring a thirsty wallet, prices aren't cheap. They offer a wide range of martini's. My boyfriend got a classic dirty and I tried their espresso martini's. The espresso martini was off the charts- very smooth and strong with coffee beans floating on top. Today was my second time visiting this establishment. The first time I came with a date and it was right before closing so we had to scarf down our food. This time I came earlier in the evening. I sat at the bar for a quick bite and ended up going through 3 entrees. The lamb chops, pork tenderloin and the steak. The prices range between $8-15 per plate. I would HIGHLY recommend either or to anyone considering going here. I've also had the wings and ribs on my last visit which did not disappoint as well. If you work in the service industry, the first drink is complementary as long as you bring proof of employment. Which is pretty dope! The live music was a great addition as well. Loved this place. We came down from NJ and hit a few other bars and restaurants throughout our trip and Jazz'd was hands down our favorite. The vibe is great, awesome energy but low key at the same time. I saw a few posts about it beforehand describing the place as "swanky" and it was spot on. Food was so flavorful and just the right amount. The bartender was fun and professional at the same time. Drinks were delicious! I had the Cucumber Cooler and my wife got the Peach Bourbon Smash and they were amazing. Next time we're in Savannah we will definitely be visiting Jazz'd again. read more

One of the most fun experiences we've ever had! Our server was the most bubbly cute lil southern belle too - she told comedic riddles/ jokes throughout her service which made it more entertaining for my friends and I! Good was also amazing!! Much bigger portions than I was expecting. We got two plates per person and were full! Tomato soup was ASTOUNDING btw, a must try!!! We stopped off in Savannah for the night on our way to Tampa so we didn't have much time. It was our second visit (our third will be on the way back to NC in a few days). Our dinner reservations were at 7:45 and since we arrived in town at 3:30 we had some time on our hands. We went downtown and ended up in Jazz'd but until we got there we didn't realize we had been there before on our first trip. It was around 5:30 and we were hungry but didn't want to eat too much so a tapas place fit the bill. We sat at the bar and decided on the beet salad special and charcuterie plate, both EXCELLENT. The beets were amazingly sweet and perfectly cooked, and the subtle accompaniments of mustard sauce and greens complimented them, but not to be outshined was the charcuterie plate. All I can say is WOW! The chef clearly knows how to pair flavors well, mixing wonderfully pickled beans and even a strawberry (I know, right?, but it works), with sublime cheeses and pork belly that was out of this world. If you're in Savannah, don't sell yourself short and pass this place up. My advise is skip your dinner reservations (wish we had) and eat here. But get there early. I can guarantee that I will be eating here every time I visit Savannah. These tapas are to die for. Kind of larger portions than your average tapas plates so you can order less (but i don't know why you would want to, because it's all so good). The vibe of the restaurant was really cool, dark mood lighting with live music and a lively crowd. The price point was pretty decent too. I went with four girlfriends and we ordered way too much food, plus drinks, and each paid less than $40. Pretty good for how much we indulged. Read about this place in a brochure picked up in the Georgia welcome center and we are glad we did! There is live entertainment six days a week (every day except Monday) and the singer on the 20th (sorry cannot remember his name) was quite good. We love tapas restaurants but it is always difficult to choose! Our server Stephani was great - she made recommendations but basically said everything was good (and it was). The drinks (Manhattan and Lemon Drop martini) were excellent. Can't remember all of the tapas we had but we enjoyed every one of them. We groaned when Stephani suggested dessert but indulged in the bread pudding. All I can say is good thing we walked back to our hotel! read more

We went on a Tuesday, it was pretty quiet inside, but to be honest, after being on the move all day in Savannah doing the tourist thing, I was happy for some live music and drinks in a chill atmosphere. They had 30 something tapa menu items. These aren't your ordinary sized tapas. They are like appetizer portions, and very reasonably priced. We have the escargot stuffed in a tomato and fish and chips. The stuffed tomato has this great creamy salty sauce on it. The fish and chips were excellent. Came out piping hot and tastes fresh, even if the were frozen I couldn't tell. The fries were crispy and you can tell were also fried in clean oil. I'm pretty picky about my fries, that's the only reason I mention how good they were. The music that night was a more of a blues than jazz, but still good. The guy was funny and worked to get the crowd involved. The place was super clean, but had this interesting 90s lounge meets modern purple lights kind of deal. Great date night restaurant or for small friend groups! Went on a Friday and they had live music, and while they were busy we were able to be sat right away as a walk in. We did the meal for two for $65, includes soft drinks or coffee, a soup or salad each, four tapas, and one dessert choice each. We started with the Bleu Cheese Wedge Salad ($2 upcharge) and She Crab Stew, the stew was delicious, but would not pay the extra for the salad again as it was nothing special. The first two tapas to come out were the Blackened Tuna Napoleon and the Steak Diane. The tuna was very tasty, and the one order came with five slices on wonton crackers. The steak was tender and went well with the mashed potatoes it came plated on. Our second round of tapas was the Honey Bourbon Pork Tenderloin and the Mediterranean Lamb Chops with Garlic and Rosemary. I really enjoyed the charred scallion potato salad and spicy tomato jam that came with the pork, and the pork itself had a nice char from the grill. The lamb chops also came grilled, and were very tender and juicy. We chose the Creme Brûlée and Bread pudding for dessert, both were delicious and I wish I had more room left to have polished them off. We look forward to coming back to this restaurant to try more of the different tapas, and to enjoy the fun lively atmosphere. read more

We had the baked cheese in terra cotta - wow it was so good. We also split the chicken and waffles. A different take and so worth it. The definition of bad customer service and a nasty owner to boot. When entering, I was advised that we could not have our pet with us. I explained he is an ADA service dog and he was indeed allowed in. With attitude, I was let in. We were then talking to a friend at the bar waiting to order a drink and I walked away from wife for a moment. My service dog yelped (barked) one time for me and I walked back toward him. This is when the owner told me to get the f*ck out of his establishment because my dog bothered his patrons. This was a cool spot! I came here with my mom on a Saturday for dinner while we were visiting. I thought it would be a little busier as we went around 6:30. I guess more people come later when the live music starts? I will note that for next time. The concept here is cool - southern style tapas. And unlike normal tapas, the portions here are pretty big and filling. We decided to try the chicken lettuce cups, the bread and cheese-y oil (can't remember the name), and the seafood chowder. Our favorite was the chowder. The bread was tasty but was a bit doughy - almost like it was frozen bread. The chicken cups were also good but a little too saucy for my taste. I've never had lettuce cups with what seemed to be a mayonnaise base. I guess every dish was a bit different from what I'm used to but again, it was supposed to be tapas with a southern flair. This is a very popular spot with live music six nights a week! The menu is tapas style but the portions are huge. They recommend two plates per person but I would suggest three to share between two people. We came with a large group of fifteen people for a family gathering. We ordered most of the menu and got to try lots of different dishes. The food was good but not outstanding. People enjoyed the lamb chops, and mussels. The truffled fries, cheese bread and tuna over wontons were okay but not spectacular. Lots of options for drinks and wine. It is located down a steep flight of stairs. If you need an elevator you need to ring down to have it come up. The restaurant is really loud the acoustics made it very challenging to have a conversation. However, repeating order did not help much, we got our wine 20 minutes after we ordered it. By that time we already finished the crab stew that was too salty as well. The cook probably salted it like 3 times... We spent next 40 minutes waiting for our 4 tapas to come. They arrived partially cold, basically hot meat on ice cold mashed potatoes. One of the four, was wrong order. Desserts were ok, but not enough to save the dinner.
