Came here for the first time the other day. I was impressed! For the price point, the quality of the food is excellent, especially when you compare it to other cafés and the area. The strawberry match was a standout with homemade strawberry purée. matcha is a very popular drink nowadays, but most places don't do it right and use a cheap powder that's mostly sugar. Java Earth uses ceremonial grade matcha and you can taste the difference. I liked my soyrizo bowl a lot. The eggs were fluffy and the avocado abundant. It came with a side of warm tortillas. Be sure to ask for Tapatio if you like spicy. The cafe itself is super cute and clean love sitting on the outdoor space. They have a nice set up with some umbrellas for shade. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Excited to go back and try more things! The pastries looked delish! read more

I finally got a chance to check out Java Earth this past weekend. I was running with PBRC . After our 3 mile run, we all met up here. I ordered breakfast burrito and brown sugar latte . it was delicious. This place was super busy. It was a place to be on a Saturday morning. The ambience was quite loud only because it was so busy on a Saturday morning. however, I feel like the ambience would be quiet during the week. A good spot to get caught up on your work. someone gave the tip if you order online . They're much more efficient. After I sent through my order online, it took about 10 minutes or so to prepare. The café is in a whitewashed wooden sea-home, which felt a bit cramped when full, but at 11 a.m. there was still plenty of seating available. Parking can be tricky, though I lucked out with a spot nearby. I ordered a Maple Oat Latte to-go -- solid flavor, though the steamed oat milk was a bit too hot. I came here on a Friday afternoon, and the place was not too packed. There is a lot of outdoor seating divided by the sidewalk with around 10 tables and a long table with 4 chairs. There is inside seating too with several tables. This place is super dog-friendly! I got the turkey sandwich with no avocado, no mustard, and added bacon instead. For my drink, I got the hot earl grey tea with 2% milk and agave. The sandwich is a cold sandwich on sourdough bread and tasted great. The employees are super sweet and kind. Jessica was helpful with my decision on what to get. Usually, I feel kind of rushed when I don't know what I want and just stand there, but Jessica made me feel the opposite with her hospitality. Overall, great coffee shop, and would definitely come here again. They do offer free wifi, but I found it a little bit slow and ended up using my own hotspot. read more

Took over thirty minutes to get two matchas. I understand how busy it can get on a Friday morning but still. The baristas were just chit chatting amongst themselves without a care in the world of the overflowing line of drink they had to make. The matcha itself was mediocre, nothing special and lacking in flavor. I got the strawberry matcha and didn't taste any strawberry whatsoever. My cousin got the banana cream matcha and that too just tasted super artificial. We also got the breakfast burrito and that was the only thing to come out fast from the kitchen. It was ok but I didn't understand why you had to choose between sausage, bacon, or avocado. I feel like the avocado should be included and u choose what meat you want instead of having to choose between the three. The cafe is a cute aesthetic little shop with ample seating but the overpriced drinks and clearly undertrained baristas makes me not want to come here again. Do better! read more

While waiting for our food at Clay Oven next door, we stumbled upon this cute cafe and decided to try it out. The service was decent. I asked about the matcha, and the cashier kindly gave me a sample of their happy matcha. It was fine, but from the color I could tell it wasn't ceremonial grade. I still decided to try their strawberry matcha because I just needed a drink, and it was terrible. The staff claimed it was ceremonial grade matcha, but it clearly wasn't from the color and taste. Ceremonial has a very vibrant green as opposed to dull and dark green, and their oat milk was not great either. I couldn't tell which brand it was, but probably not one of the top brands. The store uses cheap ingredients but still charges very high prices. Won't be coming back. read more

What's important for me in any coffee shop are the beverages and food. Ambiance and location are subjects for discussion, everyone likes different things. Java Earth offers a very good selection of breakfast staples, like sandwiches, burritos, bagels and toasts. I absolutely love this coffee shop and find myself here 3-4 times a week. I live close by and love the coffee and smoothies. The food is meh, I usually just get an bagel or something small if I'm hungry. Generally when I come, the staff is all talking to each other, ignoring me as I'm waiting to order and it seems like an inconvenience when I place an order. When they notice I'm there (once they have finished their conversation with their coworker) they just stare at me. No hi, what can I get you, it's really odd. They took our order, I wanted a decaf maple oat milk latte and my partner wanted a vanilla oat milk latte. He's allergic to nuts so he let them know about his allergy. When they delivered our drinks (they gave me my drink but with caffeine even though I ordered it decaf) they re made it but weren't friendly. For my partner, when they gave him his drink they basically said something along the lines of "we cannot do this again, maybe get something iced next time". Which was ridiculous considering we've been to many coffee places before and they have been very understanding and friendly. It was almost like they made him feel bad and singled him out for having an allergy, that is out of his control. The coffee quality? Nothing to write home about. read more
