The service is attentive and friendly. Food is delicious. Ambiance especially in the early morning is quiet. Beautiful decorations and lay out.

Too Good To Go Order.

Too good to go order was tasty. Just not sure $6.99 for three muffins and a cookie is any kind of a good deal?

Breakfast sandwich

Bagel sandwich on a everything bagel was so yummy! I ordered for pick up and it was all ready when I got there less than 10 min. The inside is actually really cute. Kitchen staff didn't acknowledge me when I walked in but the girl that walked in after helped me with my order and was sweet!

Cute lil bakery/cafe. Food was good and ambiance is nice. Indoor and outdoor tables. An easy and quick convenient spot. It was a bit slow to get our food with few guests on a Sunday morning but not egregious. Cute little shopping/gift items and pastries available as well.

Outdoor patio

This is the place to be ... leisurely breakfast, coffee to go and meeting friends. Dropped in on a Saturday morning and the place was packed with a hustle and bustle, even hearing Happy Birthday being sung to a seasoned (read senior) guest. 30 minutes later it cleared out. Almond croissant was huge and had a nice crisp. Oatmeal was creamy. It was accompanied by sugar in the raw it seemed instead of brown sugar. Inside seating is limited but the patio has lots of tables in the shade or with umbrellas. Enjoy!

Apple Walnut Salad is yummy

5 star food: Large portions. The chicken wrap, sandwich & salads were all fresh. All 4 items we ordered were yummy. We especially liked the cobb & apple walnut salad. The chicken wrap was filled with large pieces of chicken meat. 5 star location & seating. Cute ambiance with some indoor seating. Plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas at tables. 3 star service today: they bundled 2 separate meal orders on one table number. While I was in the restroom my friends meal was delivered, our number was taken off the table & after 10 min I never got mine. My other friends all received their meals pretty quickly after ordering. I had to go in & ask for my salad so I think they forgot mine. Hey things like this happen & they still deserve a 5 star review. I'll be back & ask for a separate number for table delivery.

Belgian Waffle
T S.

Good coffee and well put tasty whole wheat bagel sandwiches! The Belgian waffles wowed our kiddo ! The service was fast even though there was a constant drip of people. The staff is super nice and pays attention to customers even when the place is busy. They wowed our kid by surprising him with a bowl of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup! Another nice thing, given it's NB: free and ample parking! It's a cozy cafe with both comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.

Over done!

Very expensive. The croissant was soft and chewy instead of flaky and the tea is $5. Ridiculous

We looked at each other and instantly knew we had to stop and get some! When we walked into the shop, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly, "How may I help you?" They had a wonderful variety of donuts, but we already knew exactly which flavor we wanted. When my daughter placed our order, they asked if we wanted a dozen. Of course! We couldn't resist taking home a dozen of our favorite. The service was friendly, the shop was super cute, and the donuts were absolutely delicious. Just a typical donut store with glass shelves to see the donuts. Not the most friendly staff. No line behind us or in front of us but we felt like we were being rushed to hurry up and decide what to order. We purchased 6 donuts some of which were chocolate. We also bought one ham and cheese jalapeño croissant. He warmed it up and put it in the same plastic bag with our chocolate donuts!! Who does this?!? Apparently the shop worker did. Needless to say our chocolate donuts were ruined and I had some upset kids! Taste of everything was ruined due to the experience. I will not be returning.

Our server who I forgot his name was super nice and attentive. My husband got chicken and I got duck and both dishes were delicious. We also got a Brie cheese dish as appetizer and it was amazing as well. The vibe and the decorations felt really welcoming and authentic. If we're in the area in the future, we will for sure come back.

The lady who helped me - dark hair, really overly colorful eye makeup, and tattoos - processed the transaction but handed me the card without a receipt. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.

The Order: * My Go-To: I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. * Variety: They have every flavor of milk, ice cream, and cookies you could want. Timing & Atmosphere: * Avoid Weekends: I would not recommend coming here on a weekend. The store is tiny, and because it's right next to all the bars, the area gets crowded with a lot of drunk people. If that isn't your scene, stick to a weekday visit. * Rewards: It is quite expensive, but it's a nice treat. Plus, you can sign up with your phone number to get discounts for future visits. The Parking Situation: * Virtually Non-Existent: There is no parking lot, so you are stuck looking for small spots along the side of the road. * Accessibility: There is no designated handicap parking, so keep that in mind if you aren't prepared to walk a bit from a side street. Final Verdict: It's a perfect weekday spot for a warm dessert, just be prepared for the peninsula parking struggle!

I've…read morenever had a bad experience here before, the food has always been great, and the staff has always made us feel welcomed and taken care of. This last visit was unfortunately very different. We came in with a fairly large party, and we completely understood that accommodating a group our size is a lot of work. When we got in line, the employee asked how many people were in our party, which made sense. However, we were then told that we could not all pay separately. This was confusing because payment is taken before you even sit down, so it's not like we were trying to split a bill afterward. Rather than make a fuss, we combined everyone's orders onto one card, totaling around $400. The food and drinks came out fairly quickly, which we appreciated. The reason I felt compelled to write this review, though, was because of how rude one particular employee was during the experience. She was wearing patriotic cat ears and appeared to be one of the baristas. One of my friends ordered a latte with alternative milk, but it seems the order may have been entered incorrectly. I've worked in the coffee industry myself, so I understand mistakes happen all the time, and remaking a drink is usually not a huge issue. Instead of handling it kindly, the employee responded with, "That's how it was put in, the request time has passed, that's our policy," in an incredibly dismissive and rude tone. We were honestly stunned. My friend, visibly uncomfortable, just quietly said "Okay," and the employee walked away. Nothing was offered to make the situation right. This happened after we had already spent hundreds of dollars and tipped before even being served. I'm not someone who enjoys complaining or writing negative reviews, but the interaction completely changed the experience for our entire group. What's most disappointing is that the refusal itself wasn't even the main issue, it was the attitude and apparent enjoyment in being dismissive over a very small and understandable mistake. I'm writing this mostly out of disappointment because I truly loved this place. I also think it's important for larger parties to know ahead of time that there appears to be a policy limiting payment methods, even though I've personally visited before with smaller groups where separate payments were allowed. I genuinely hope this was just an off day, because Eller Bakery has been a place I've loved supporting for a long time.
