Arrived on a Friday night around 615 and waited only 5 minutes for a table. My waiter Erick was attentive, quick, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks were watered down in my opinion. I had a long island and a Hennessy sidecar. The shrimp and crab dip were tasty as well as the buffalo wing dip. I was indecisive on the salmon because all the description said was "marinated" yet it didn't list even a base for the marinade. I asked Erick who wasn't sure himself but commences to ask the Chef and was told it was a secret. Okay, fine. The service is extremely slow. My table is having trouble just getting water and napkins. 25 minutes for water is unacceptable. 45 minutes for food w/o seeing the waiter is ridiculous. This is probably my favorite after dark hangout spot. The service is excellent and so was the food. I've been here about three times with coworkers and friends and we always seem to have a great time. I would recommend the tiger shrimp or the tiger wings as well as the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes with broccoli. The atmosphere is chill And vibrant. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED... For starters I frequent this establishment ofter for dine in and takeout. Last night I ordered to of the crispy chicken club entrees no cheese or mayo and a salmon and crab cake entree with a extra crab cake. I arrived to pick up my order only to see I was charged for one chicken sandwich entree. I asked the gentleman how long it would take for another one and he said 25 minutes. What!!!! I told him politely I would have to have my whole order redone if i waited 25 minutes for one freaking sandwich. My husband didn't want to wait so I told the young man no thank you and we departed. We arrived home and proceeded to eat only to find cheese on the sandwich! He has a dairy allergy and we were very disappointed with the overall service. I plan to give the manager a call after this review because not only was last night unacceptable but it almost cost us a trip to the emergency room. Sunday was my first time at this establishment and the customer service was piss poor to say the least. I have always heard good things but I guess Sunday night was an off night . Our waiter came to the table as if she had an Attitude and didn't give her name , so we asked. I guess because we were a younger group women that she felt like she don't have check on us. Met up with my brothers for brunch and food was just OK, I really enjoyed my waffle, but I noticed that the menu has changed drastically since I last been for brunch... was not impressed, no options for egg whites, only turkey sausage which was over cooked, asked server three times for ketsup which we never received.... the best part is, it's 5 minutes away from my house, the worst part is that it is 5 minutes from my house, think I will take the drive where the mimosas are unlimited and the brunch selection is a little more thought out.... read more

I came here (07/13/2016) for dinner. I decided to get something very and extremely simple; wings. I assumed that a restaurant couldn't mess up wings, but I was wrong. When the food came, the plate was piping hot so I figured the wings were as well. Needless to say, the wings and drink was sent back. I don't understand how the plate was piping hot, but the wings were cold. Oh yeah, they had those old ass wings sitting around that they "sauced" up and put on a plate. I often visit Jasper's Lottsford RD location during my lunch hour which may vary between 12pm and 2pm. Unfortunately, on Wednesday December 19th I didn't have a great experience as I normally do. I typically order from the bar, along with my Co-Worker. I order the Spicy Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. The bartenders are usually very helpful and friendly. On this particular day, I decided to try something different. I placed an order for Two Blacken Salmon Lunch Specials. I ordered my food to go. The food took a little more than average time to be prepared but was later brought to me by the Bartender. Once I arrived back at my office and prepared myself to indulge in my food The outer layer of my Salmon seemed to be cooked properly however, once I got to the middle I notice a very mushy, wet area. My Salmon was not cooked completely. I immediately contacted the location and requested to speak with the manger. With speaking with the manager Kevin, I was informed that I would be receiving an email to confirm my NEW replacement order and pick up. I am still waiting on that email. I stressed how disappointed I was. After waiting for my food during my lunch hour I explained to him how much of an inconvenience this is to have to go throughout my work day hungry and to have to drive back to the location which is in the total opposite direction of my Home and Work . I became more agitated when I notice the lack of concern from the Manager Kevin. He seemed to be unbothered or not even concerned with the fact that I was just giving uncooked food under his management. I informed Kevin of prior arrangement I had for the evening and how imperative it was to have my food prepared fully by the time I return to the location which was 5:15pm especially being aware that Happy Hour may cause a slight delay. Once I arrived back at Jasper's I greeted the front door host and inquired on speaking with Kevin, the manager. He then contacted Kevin letting him know who I was and that I was waiting, once he disconnected the line from Kevin I was told "Kevin is busy right now, what can I help you with" I was completely disturbed and appalled at the customer service, or lack of Customer Service, Empathy and Concern. To continue after roughly 5 mins of waiting I nicely left the container with the uncooked food and informed the host that I would be contacting management. Needless to say, I never spoke or saw Kevin and never received anything! I am very disappointed. I have been eating at Jasper's for years and never had this type of experience, the lack of Customer Service was just baffling. read more

The one star is quite generous. Terrible experience. I won't be returning and I wouldn't encourage anyone to waste their time or money on this place. It took the server approx. 15 minutes to greet us. The children's booster seats are disgusting, I'm sure they haven't cleaned them in years. The drinks taste like medicine. Never got our food (waited nearly 45 minutes). With the exception of a young man by the name of Tayvon and lady by the name of Venus, service was terrible! This is my 2nd or 3rd time at this establishment so I waited to do this review. Jaspers menu is simple with a nice assortment of main dishes. I've tried several dishes (fried chicken, chicken with shrimp over pasta, Jamaican grill) and was not wowed by any of them. Presentation of the entrees is lacking and food is tasty but definitely not worth the price. I got red beans and rice and the juice of the beans was dry indicating they had been sitting for awhile. Now service...it was horrible yet again. We had to ask for bread, refills, condiments...everything. Was difficult since server disappeared for long periods of time. I noticed a lack of enthusiasm from majority of the staff. Also, it's hard to have a conversation as it is loud and not very intimate environment. Basically it felt like a club scene with mediocre service and ok food. For the prices...I would rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Personally, when rating a restaurant i feel that it only deserves a 5 star whenever it's consistently good. Not only that but it has to have the key components in check; Ambiance, food, service, pricing, quality and of course overall appeal. With continuous returns upon returns, this place is definitely as good as it gets. Years upon years, with many visits per month, there is honestly nothing i can say bad about this place. From the ambiance to service then of course the food that never fails to impress me. Yeah the place is busy, but for the sizes and quality your paying for, it's well worth the money. After the Sidelines was closed down, Jaspers was always packed, whether it was for lunch or dinner. Great Happy Hour and a fantastic HH Menu. Always open late. Usually my order contains their; "Jungle Salad", "Famous Fish Tacos" (for lunch), "Crab Explosion" (for dinner) accompanied with the AMAZING fully loaded "Backed Potato" at no additional charge. I've gotten plenty of other things on that menu but these are usually the usual. The Jungle Salad is always delicious. The Fish Tacos are always pretty amazing. The fish is crispy and spicy, and the layers of toppings are sweet flavorful. But the thing that i crave the most from this place would have to be the Tiger Wings. Sweet, Hot, and always good! There is really nothing i can find wrong about this place. The service is also always great for a casual restaurant. I've never been to their Sunday Brunch but I hear it's very good. read more
