I am only speaking to their Sunday Brunch. I love that they have so many options. I just wish there was more flavor in those options. This is my 4th time here and it's been the same so I like their consistency and because they're consistent I believe it to be intentional. I will say that there is often an older crowd here which to me, makes total sense of why the food isn't packed with a whole lot of flavor and salt. I would just appreciate if there were just a little bit more. Just enough that I would be able to add a little bit of salt and pepper to it and make it perfect. And if I'm being completely honest, the only thing that is lacking in flavor are the meats. Everything else I think tastes great. The vibe is good. The music is sometimes too loud to have a decent conversation with your table when there are also other tables having conversation but that seems to be the norm for brunch. Personally, I think they should turn the music down a bit everywhere because we're not there for the DJ, we're there for the food and to fellowship with our peeps and the DJ/music is an added bonus not the main attraction.

Update: Unfortunately I need to change my stellar rating of a 4 to a 1 due to service. I have been visiting Jasper's on a Saturday for the past few month and ordering the delicious Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, today, the manager Alfonso Saldana, refused to allow me to order the sandwich. I completely understand that policies change. Unfortunately, he stated that this has never been allowed and he would have to charge me for a Salmon BLT that costs $19.75 as opposed to the $15.00 chicken sandwich. His statement is contrary to my experience and I didn't appreciate his acting as though I was not being honest. Well, I won't be returning there for lunch on a Saturday. Thank you, Alfonso!

I recently placed a curbside order from Jaspers in Largo, MD, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. As soon as I picked up the bag, there was a very strong rancid smell that followed us all the way home. When I got home and hecked the items, we discovered the odor was coming from the chicken thighs, which smelled spoiled. I immediately called the restaurant and drove back. Although the staff did allow me to exchange the item, I was told the smell "could be the grease," which didn't match my expectations at all. In addition to that, when I started eating my turkey burger, I found hair in the food. At that point, it was clear the quality control and food handling were not where they should be. This was definitely not the experience I expected, and it left me very hesitant to order from Jaspers again.

Visiting from San Francisco, my man suggested we come here to satisfy my seafood cravings. From the outside, this place looks massive, and it definitely lives up to its size inside. It's the perfect spot to eat and watch sports--TVs everywhere, all showing sports. My kind of place! The wait wasn't long, and with the AC blasting, I had no problem waiting. Our server was Paula, who had great energy and patiently dealt with our silly antics. The menu had me second-guessing what I wanted to order. For appetizers, we went with the fried salmon sticks and the super combo, which included wings, chino egg rolls, and chicken fingers. If you can't handle spicy like me, stay away from the chino egg rolls--those chicken pieces were on fire! My man would probably disagree, though. The wings were fantastic, and the chicken fingers with that orange sauce were absolutely delicious! The appetizers arrived and disappeared in less than five minutes. I really enjoyed the salmon sticks--something I'd never imagined trying before. For our entrees, I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of jumbo lump crab cake. My husband went with the spicy shrimp and chicken pasta. By the time our food arrived, we were both already overwhelmed--plus, the portions were huge. We couldn't believe how big the plates were. We knew we were going to need to-go boxes. The grits were just the way I like them, and the shrimp added an extra level of flavor that elevated the dish entirely. I would definitely visit again and probably overdo it once more. This place is a winner!

Oh my goodness this place in Maryland was great! It looks like a theatre sound like a club, food is like a restaurant! Taken back at first when I arrived to police cars outside but it's all for safety late at night. The chicken wings and drinks were the favorite in the crowd. The bridal sprouts were a bit burnt but now I know what to get. Service not that friendly but we say at the bar cause it was busy. The private booths and big screen give it all the vibe!!! Music was great as well.

Went to Jaspers and it was pretty good. Haven't been for dinner until tonight. The highlight was the "Sunday brunch" collard greens. I asked my server any recommendations for dinner and she pointed me in the direction of what sells best. I got it, the presentation was cool but it lacked flavor. It wasn't too loud surprisingly or crowded, but overall we had a good time.

Met a coworker here after work and we just sat at the bar but there was amble seating all across the restaurant for both small and large parties! The bartenders were all very friendly and all worked great together when one got busy to help make sure we always got anything we needed. Overall the staff was very friendly and so were all of the patrons! We struck up many great conversations with people all through the night as I feel the atmosphere of the whole restaurant creates a very welcoming and friendly environment! We got some items off their appetizer and entree menu and everything was delicious! We spoke with the bartender on some suggestions and both of them were exactly what we were looking for. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful! The portions were also very large and filling! We wanted to order more items from the menu from what we saw others ordered at the bar but we were too full and said we would definitely have to come back next time for sure! Overall it was a great experience! The drinks were tasty & strong, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was phenomenal! I look forward to going back anytime I'm in the area!

Paula! Is the bomb! My husband and I dined here on a Saturday afternoon. We were in town for the Commanders game and this is a go to spot for us rather it be for lunch or a pregame meal. This time we sat near the bar where there was open seating. Our waitress, Paula was serving everywhere and was on point! Always a good time here. Drinks and food hit every time. At a convention at the Harbor with coworkers and when the subject of dinner came up Jasper's was suggested!! We were seated at a bar booth and our drink orders were taken upon being seated. Our server Sudan was Phenomenal!!! He is Great at what he does. He should be at the bar serving drinks and talking people up for real!!! Food menu is on point. The seafood options are dominating this menu and offer some delicious dishes like the salmon bites, crab egg rolls and tiger shrimp!!! The sangria was good in both versions. Everyone enjoyed their food and we left with some to go boxes! When we pulled up the location felt familiar to me but I couldn't put my finger on it. But then it hit me that'd I'd been here before. But when it was called something else. I realized that Jasper's used to BET Soundstage . The BET Soundstage was a great place in its day. My favorite dish then was their red snapper. I recommend Jasper's for happy hour and for a special night out. Ask for Sudan!!

Went on a Friday night. It was my first time so I didn't know about the atmosphere or dress code. We went to sit in the bar booth area, so we didn't have a wait time. The service was cool. The food was pretty good. I ordered the fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I'd go back so I can experience other menu items. I went here after work on a Friday afternoon. The food was delicious and my drink was excellent as well. For my meal I had the Baked shrimp stuffed with crab. And for my drink I enjoyed an old fashioned. Service was prompt and friendly. I will warn you that it can be a bit noisy but if you like a lively crowd then you will enjoy this place. They have two bars and seating all around. I will be back. Hopefully I'll get to try their brunch. read more

You know, I like this place for the most part. The food is good and the drinks are delicious, but the service is hit or miss. Sometimes, you get a great server and things are popping. You can get your food and drinks in a timely fashion and enjoy the atmosphere and the music. Other times, you can get a server who is one of those people who don't like their jobs and ultimately ruins your experience. Most of the time though, it's a positive experience. The weird thing about the Jasper's is that the bar area, which is 50% of the restaurant, has a 24-hour happy hour. So if you're 2 feet away from that area, you're paying full price, while those in the bar area are getting upwards of $5-6 off food. Drink specials are only $1 off (so that's lame). Actually, all of that's lame. This doesn't conceptually make sense to me. It's a cool spot, but if I'm not in the bar area, what's the point? read more

I went to Jasper during lunch time. The service was great. Fast and accurate. The waitress was patient and helpful with menu selections. She had a great attitude and a pleasant desire to make sure I had a great experience and that was noted and appreciated. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The space is nicely decorated and in an open floor lay out. The lighting is a bit dim but not too dark, its intimate and welcoming. Very family friendly. Parking can be a bit stressful but I usually find a spot. Overall,Jaspers is a great choice and location is key for me. Very close to my home, which is a plus! read more

This place is "ghetto"...or maybe I'm old now. Upon being seated, we were greeted by 5-6 other patrons who had a bit too much to drink and wanted the entire restaurant to know it. Others who were in earshot of these patrons had a look of disgust and disappointment. There was a Mom and young daughter sitting in earshot. After having enough of the loud ghetto conversations, "f*ck her and f*ck you" ""have another shot cause you "f*cking tripping"...I politely asked the manager to move us to a different location. Second location was not nearly as bad, but then there is the matter of the food. I ordered butterfly shrimp and fries..fried chicken, crab dip and hush puppies. The crab dip and shrimp were flavorful and hot..the wings were past over cooked...fries were cold...hush puppies were good and my Wife's food was "good". She had salad and tiger wings. All in all, it was a waste. Our waitress Cashe was great. 2 out of 10 and I would not recommend. Eat at your own risk basically. We wont be returning customers to say the least. read more

I don't see why this place gets mediocre reviews. Came here for an early Sunday brunch and the buffet was pretty damn good. The food was hot & fresh, with lots of variety. I'm not a fan of buffets (in general) but overall I thought it was really good. Love the ambience here...dimly lit & spacious. Service was prompt & friendly & I'd come back for the brunch buffet. I frequent Jasper's! When I crave seafood, I'm at happy hour early for the shrimp and crab dip... or the shrimp and crab cocktail... or the colossal crab cocktail, heck their lobster bisque is great too! I don't go just for the seafood, their tiger sauce on anything is great... tiger wings, tiger shrimp, you name it! Now the best part- the drinks! If I start to name the bar tenders I like, I would probably end up naming them all. Even when it gets busy, which is pretty much everyday, they are still attentive. Maybe the colossal drinks distract me from anything unsatisfactory because I don't have a bad thing to say about Jasper's. read more

So before Covid this place wasn't great before! It's the type of place you just really go for the drinks not so much the food maybe the only the wings. I've been going there for years I've known managers I've known servers but at this point it's just trash. First time here. We really liked the food and the service was fast even though it was a good amount of people in here on a Sunday night. Visited tonight for a surprise birthday celebration. We were a group of 35. We could not be seated until 90% if our group arrived. Once seated, we had three servers who took our drink orders. The wait is long to dine in or have a good seat at the bar to watch a game I usually order in advance and pick up my order from the bar. I only get the crab dip and ribeye to go. The ribeye is seasoned well and moist. I never have any issues with my food. The restaurant is typically crowded every night of the week. If you like to "people watch" lol this is a good place it's always a interesting crowd. You see it all dining here! I think the restaurant should really enforce a Dress Code! We had a great time and great service by Kirk. We had a large group and he effectively managed our orders in a timely manner. The food was good and his recommendation for changing the sauce in my seafood portafino was a hit! Appetizers were good...I had crab dip and it was great! Every time I go to Jasper's it does not disappoint. I am always pleased with the food and drinks. Side note: The Moscato Sangria will get you lit real quick! Of course the Tiger Wings are amazing. However, don't sleep on the Buffalo Chicken Dip or Tiger Shrimp. When I bring my family, they enjoy the Jambalaya, which can also come with rice. Everyone loves it better that way. I choose different entrees as I want to get a feel for the entire menu, and I have been pleasantly pleased with each item I order. Although, their calamari is good, it can be fried harder, and maybe even dip it in the Tiger sauce as well. I have no complaints with this place. read more

First time ever coming to Jaspers. The overall environment wasn't too bad at all. Somewhat looked like an "upscale" style of a sports bar type vibe. Came for a team dinner with my fellow trainers. We all ordered multiple apps, those were pretty good. As well, I ordered a steak and I can't complain about that. One thing I didn't like, we didn't get our IDs checked. There's nothing like Jasper's after a long night at work! The drinks are huge and strong which is always a plus. The Strawberry Hennessy Margarita is my FAV! But when can you ever go wrong with a Hennessy Margarita? Like, seriously?! I've tried the Tiger Shrimp from recommendations of friends, they were just okay for me. What stole the took was the Southern Fried Chicken. Being that I'm from the South and have been craving soul food the fried chicken, mac & cheese and mash potatoes hit the spot in so many ways. Came here on sunday afternoon for lunch. We noticed there is a Brunch Buffet available for about $21 per person. We opted for ordering from the regular menu. The food came out at a decent time. Our server was checking on us often. My baby back rib was very tasty and filling. It came with fries and vegetables (which I didn't order, it was supposed to be coleslaw.). The fries were delicious and paired well with my ribs, however the steam vegetables tasted like they came from a frozen bag and they just microwaved them (not good). The place is very nice looking. I went with two friends and all of our meals felt like they were missing something. I specifically got these egg roll latin combo dish (see pic), and it was extremely dry. It came with an orange slice and sour cream and that just threw me off. They could bring this dish up by thinly slicing avocados on the egg rolls and having some type of salsa dipping sauce or a house made sauce with a creamy base. Drinks were good. read more

If I could give them a 0 I would the WORST EVER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD where do I start. I want to try and make this a short review but so much went wrong don't think that I can. I was celebrating a birthday dinner with some friends. When our food came out my best friend realize that what she had ordered (shrimp and grits) was more like onion soup there were onion swimming in the sauce with a cup of grits, another friend ordered jambalaya it came out sauceless with again 1 million onions in it. My boyfriend ordered chicken and waffles he said his chicken taste like onions . My food broil platter came out Luke warm and the mashed potatoes were thick and dry. When we asked to speak to the manager, she came out and was no help. She came to the table with an attitude and really wasn't trying to hear what we had to say. She stated that all sauces they serve had an onion base cream. She then stated well I've already taken the food off the bill. That wasn't what we had called her over to the table for. We wanted to inform her that there were too many onions in the shrimp and grits and my friend just wanted a new one. But she took it upon herself to become rude and impatient and said it oh well I'll just take it off the bill. After trying to explain all the issues we had with the food she stated that she would have to look at the food because I have to show the managers the food before they just got it. within asked to speak to a manager over her because we did not like her attitude and she was not helpful or trying to listen. We were told that she was the only manager there when we saw two other managers but the manager over her refused to come out and speak with us and said we would just have to deal with her and he would not be going against anything she had already told us. As if that was not enough they then sent to security officers over to our table to do what we still were unsure of. they stated that they were sent over to the table to make sure we pay the bill. Intention was never to run out on the bill but just to make the manager aware that. Nowhere on the menu did it state that onions were the base of all sauces that came with their entrées . The security stayed at the table until we left the building which was very embarrassing and it felt like everyone at the restaurant was focusing on us. Dear Jaspers Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received on Friday, October 4, 2024, at your location at 9460 Lottsford Ct., Largo, MD 20774. My server for the evening was named Courtney, and the experience I had with her was unacceptable. Initially, I was seated at a table with two of my friends, and after dining, I closed out my bill of $33.75 and left a $6.00 tip, bringing my total to $39.75. I signed both the merchant and customer copies of the receipt and handed Courtney her copy. Shortly after, I moved to the bar to continue spending time with my friends as space had opened up. I started a new tab at the bar. However, Courtney approached me at the bar and, in a loud and accusatory manner, claimed I had not paid my previous bill. She had the signed merchant copy of the receipt in her hand, yet continued to publicly accuse me of not settling my bill. This situation caused me significant embarrassment in front of other patrons, despite the fact that I provided both my signed customer copy of the receipt and showed her proof of payment through my Navy Federal banking app. Even after all of this, she insisted that she could not see the payment, which I pointed out was an issue on her end, not mine. I refused to give her my card again, as the bill had already been paid. It was only after she brought the manager over that the situation was clarified as a mistake on your establishment's side. While the manager apologized for the confusion, Courtney never offered an apology for her unprofessional behavior or for the public embarrassment she caused me. This experience left me feeling extremely disrespected and frustrated. I expect a higher standard of service, and I do not believe Courtney should remain in a position where customer service is paramount. She should be reminded that it is customers like myself who allow her to have this job in the first place. I request that this issue be addressed appropriately to ensure no other customer has to endure a similar situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am writing to share my recent experience at Jaspers on September 24, 2025, in hopes that it brings attention to the treatment of one of your employees. Our server, a young lady named Joy, was incredibly kind and gracious throughout our visit. Despite the clear signs of short staffing, she remained professional and attentive. However, during our meal, it became apparent that she was struggling emotionally. Joy was visibly upset and trying hard to hold back tears. We later observed that she had just been reprimanded by a female manager with straight, salt-and-pepper hair. While I don't know the details of the situation, it was disheartening to see such a dedicated employee in distress, especially when she was doing her best under what appeared to be very difficult circumstances. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect--especially those who show up and work hard even when things are tough. The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was otherwise enjoyable. However, I hope that management takes this as an opportunity to reflect on how staff are treated, particularly during high-pressure times. A little compassion and support can go a long way in employee morale and guest experience. I sincerely hope Joy was able to finish her shift without further distress, and I commend her for her professionalism. The salmon & shrimp were very good but my sister's green beans looked/tasted very undercooked. The bday girl got the breaded shrimp & chicken tenders that came with fries & coleslaw. She said that the shrimp were ok but the tenders were very good, crispy on the outside & tender/moist on the inside as it should be. Horrible experience, Ill never go to this place again the food was cold when it came out I asked for my food to be reheated. It came back out lukewarm. My partner didn't even eat his food after trying everything they returned the whole plate.After speaking with the manager (Donnay) he told me that it was NOTHING he could do.the taste of the food was also disgusting. After seeing I wasn't getting anywhere after talking over a FULL plate of cold and disgusting food we just paid and left. Another manager heavyset black hair maybe Spanish manger gave me the cold shoulder after I tried approaching him about the situation. I guess what he had going on was more important than my situation. Oh when I approached him he was standing in the same spot for at least 20mins but now he had to run ..this place is a joke. I do feel this situation could have been handled differently. It wasn't like we wanted both dinners tooken off my partner didn't want to complain about their disgusting meal they just wanted to pay and leave. I came here on a tuesday night with a really close friend of mine. We made reservations for 7:30 but we then requested to sit in Monica's section because shes an awesome server. Her section was full so we had some drinks at the bar. Ketel one Soda, and hornitos sauza coke. Those were the first drinks to come and they weren't the last. When we were seated about 20 minutes later we started with a chicken basket, and its always so delicious. We were deciding between the filet Mignon, or prime rib. But Monica told us how good the in-bone rutherford 22oz steak was and we both decided to go with that. It's a $40 steak and its definitely worth it if your splurging. I usually get the Caesar salad with anchovies but since I got the big ass steak i decided to skip the greens. I did get a side of brussel sprouts which is always awesome. By the time we finished our steaks we had already had 3 rounds of drinks and had no room saved for dessert. I really wanted to get dessert, next time I come by I'll start with dessert so I don't miss out on it! read more

The wings at Jaspers are absolutely bomb - easily the best thing on the menu. Everything else is just okay, nothing special. The drinks are good and strong, which is definitely a plus. It's a great spot to watch the game with a solid atmosphere for sports fans. However, I have to mention safety concerns - someone I know was shot right outside this place, which makes me hesitant about the area, especially late at night. If you go, come for the wings and drinks during the day for games. Just be aware of your surroundings when you leave. read more

My family and I ate there last night and everything was terrible from the food to the service. We ordered drinks and they were terrible & watered down. We noticed the drinks did not come from the bar but from the back in the kitchen, which we thought was very strange. Then we also noticed that allot of other people were sending their drinks back as well. They skimmed on the food. what I thought would be an entrée, looked more like a side salad. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
