Came here because I love Jason's usually. Ordered chef lite with my favorite vinagatette and pollo potato without sour cream. Asked to go specialist if there was silverware. She said yes. Then I said to a different girl when I came back if I could get a different vinagatette bc I think they just gave me basalmic vinegar instead of the good vinagarette. She said I was mistaken. So get back to my car - it was basalmic vinegar and the potato had sour cream which I can't eat. 3 different people and all not competent. Place was empty and a mess. 2 meals and I am starving. read more

Staff is always friendly. Food is always good. Cannot beat their salad bar and my favorite order is the Plain Jane baked potato.

Why do fast food franchises always get low ratings? I'm thinking it has to do with quality of service rather than quality of food. A typical waitperson at a seated restaurant probably earns three to four times what a fast food hourly employee makes, so naturally their quality of service will be better. All that said, Jason puts out consistently good food and their salad bars are excellent. They deserve higher marks than they are getting. read more

Went to q on Catclaw Rd, in Abilene. The girl taking the order took our order wrong and I corrected her and she said ok but then didnt fix it. My husband wanted a side salad and a cup of soup and I ordered the salad bar and she charged us for two salad bars and soup. We let it go. They gave us the salad plates but no soup. so I had to go up and ask about the soup. Guy said he had to see our recipt. Then your ladies restroom had a terrible smell like rotten milk or something spollied. We love Jason's food but the experience was not good at this location. read more

This deli sandwich joint was bigger than I expected-quite surprised by the sit down area. For a Sunday lunch it was full house with just a few seats open. Pretty popular! They had a pretty good salad bar with loads of choices. Better and cheaper than Market Street. Highly recommend the chicken panini- it was delish. Ordered the small taco salad topped with chili and it was more than enough food. I can't image what you got with a large size. But I didn't find it to my liking. It was just ok for me. The strawberry shortcake was a nice treat. What I really enjoyed was watching the staff make sandwiches-whet my appetite watching all the sandwiches and pasta being dished up. I definitely going back for a couple of the pasta bowls-they looked yummy. read more

This is one of the best managed restaurants I have ever seen - of Any kind! The Manager knows his stuff. He leads his cheerfully working staff by example. Two stars because the food is good when you can get what you ordered. Easier in person but almost impossible with this location when ordering for delivery. Otherwise, should be zero stars. Only restaurant I've had this kind of consistent issue. I refuse to call anymore and leave it to my wife to deal with when she insists we have Jason's Deli. Every Time We Order Delivery Issues we've had: No chips at all in the taco salad. No salad when ordering the taco salad (but got the chili it comes with) Missing sandwich. Drink order missing. Missing soup. Wrong soup. Wrong version of chili with salad. And then there's always difficulty getting it resolved. You simply can NOT depend on this location. read more

i usually get the salad at Jason's deli on the frontage road of 1-410 across from the North Star Mall. It is alway great! Today I got the grilled zucchini sandwich with the UDI's gluten-free bread and a side of steamed vegetables. This was a mistake. The steamed veggies in the container tasted like plastic. I think they must have put the container in the microwave. The udis bread tasted stale. Will never order that again. Oh horrible customer service today. Hot food barely warm. Watched a sandwich sit at the end of the line for 15 minutes before they delivered it to person it was to go to. Oh and our order was wrong when we got it. Step it up Jason's. After sitting here watching, I have never seen so much cross contamination in my life. Ate here for lunch. Been to a Jason's in my hometown plenty of times. Overall a good experience. Wife and I got the salad bar which was nicely stocked and was pretty good. I'd give this a four star review but had one issue. My kid ordered the Mac and cheese, it came out cold. Nasty. They popped it in the microwave for him then it came out smoldering hot. Not a huge deal there, but just super gross to serve cold Mac n cheese. How hard is it to microwave it? Obviously not freshly made. read more

We ate here twice in the last week. The first time I got some type of bagel sandwich that was good, not bad or great, just good. All the filling inside kept sliding around though which made it hard to eat and hold onto. The second time I got a wrap and it was less than good. It was mostly tortilla, with a small handfull of spinach, olives, a few cucumber chunks, and maybe a thin slice or two of turkey. I also ordered the tuna pasta and I believe I got the italian instead. I don't like sending things back so I stuck with it. Next time we go here I will just ask what the most popular thing on the menu is, because so far I'm not too impressed. It also takes a very long time to get your food, even if it's not busy. How hard is it to throw a sandwich together and some potato chips on a plate? Free ice cream is good though. read more

Upon entering I was greeted with smiles and made to feel very welcome, order was taken quickly and delivered before I was even able to fill my large sweet tea. With that said I had the ham and cheese, with chips, (BIG SURPRISE??, not) I do sometimes have turkey and cheese. Just learned they have a sandwich called Chicago Club 6.59 smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked red pepper-cilantro aioli spread, organic spinach, roma tomatoes and provolone on herb foccacia Sounds to fancy for me.. Get me thinking do they have a NYC sandwich? Come to find out they do, The New York Yankee 7.29 hot corned beef & pastrami, swiss on rye with your choice of mustard or mayo. Got mixed feelings on corn beef... Custom made sandwiches, catering available for your events, as well as take out, outdoors seating for the not to hot days, even order online to in your life is on the go like mine can be. For a chain restaurant, I like Jason's. The salad bar is legit and always an option. However on this recent trip I opted for a new choice: house made chicken salad with pineapple and almonds. Wow. It is good! I had it on a croissant and that just made it perfect! I hightly recommend it! The carrot cake on the other hand, left something to be desired. I've been twice and have had the Pork Vera Cruz sandwich and the Asiago Pot Roast sandwich. The meat for both was tender and the bread didn't cut the roof of my mouth. Good sandwiches and the salad bar looks pretty good too! read more

I took my family there at around 4 pm today. There were two people waiting on takeout, one family sitting down, and my family in line. That was it. We stood and waited almost 10 minutes with no one even acknowledging us. We got tire of waiting and walked out and went to another restaurant. I love Jason's for their salad bar. There is a great selection, tasty dressings and many choices. The sandwiches are usually well prepared and they come up with great options. The restaurant was recently redone which offers a more open feel. It can get busy and noisy (lots of families come there) but the prices are fantastic. read more

My husband and dog waited while I went inside for our food order and drinks. He enjoyed a small 'lighter fare' portion of baked stuffed potato with butter, bacon, cheddar, green onion, sans sour cream, and Dr Pepper. My Muffaletta quarter was nicely toasted and the side of fruit (fresh pineapple wedges, apple wedges, red grapes, and strawberries ) came with the sweet dipping sauce. Black Currant Tea was refreshing. A thoughtful employee offered a paper bowl for my dog's water. This was our first time to eat at their patio. Even if it was still in the 90's near sundown, it was shady and the concrete cool on my dog's feet. We all 3 enjoyed ice cream cones for dessert. read more

Needs a new carry out person or new management. They consistently get your order wrong. How hard is it to get the bacon on the sandwich, and the pickle in the bag or to make sure someone is double checking carry out orders to ensure they are correct. Every time it's a swing and a miss!!! read more

Stopped by Catclaw restaurant, got stew. What has happened to the stew. Looked like they added tomato soup to it. It tasted like it too. This has happened twice. This wasn't beef stew that I used to get. For the prices, this is not going to cut it. Jason's use to be pretty good. No longer the same deli. read more

We made it here once and I enjoyed my food, but it gets off a star for the price (ended up being close to $20 for soup and salad bar for 2). The salad bar had a decent selection, and considering that salad bars are hard to find in Abilene, was probably great for the area. The soups were good as well (french onion and chicken chili). I didn't personally get a baked potato but I saw some other people's and they were ginormous. I would like to go back as I saw they had some interesting looking sandwich combinations, though I will sadly skip the salad bar. Also, as with a lot of things in the Abilene area, customer service was great - the woman cleaning the tables was on top of it! read more

Soup & sandwich.... Taste was ok but not worth the $6 delivery fee .... Plus tip..... I won't do delivery again cause they are already overpriced. .... For a few dollars more, we could have had a great steak for lunch. read more
