I am so pissed!!! Today is Wednesday September 4th, 11am. I go to this shop very 2 weeks or so. I've noticed the main owner has not been there and her back up help aren't that great but they do a decent job UNTIL TODAY. This dumbass bitch fucked up my brows so bad that I will NEVER come back again. It used to be my favorite place but I can't trust them now. I asked for the same thing I ask every time, for the shape of my brows to be even and to leave them in my natural high arch. The tail of one of my brows has always been thinner than the other but it's never been a problem until now. Apparently this person thought I meant I wanted both of my brows to be as thin as the tail of my thinnest brow!!! I refused to pay for this service and walked the fuck out. She knew she messed up big time too because she didn't argue when I said I wasn't paying. I was getting my brows down for my birthday this week and now I feel so insecure about the way I look. Great place for threading! I have only been here on weekdays and you can generally do a walk-in. Not much rush at all. Service here is fast, on target and not too pricey. I really like that when threading, they don't make your eyebrows too thin per my preference. The salon is clean and the staff really friendly. Parking is street and although you may have to search or circle a bit, something usually opens up. read more

I normally go to the Benefit Brow Bar on 4th, but they did not have any appointments until next year.  I desperately needed to get my brows done and checked Yelp (as always) and found Jasmi Beauty & Threading. I called and was told to come "now." I was taken aback by how quickly I could come in. When I got there, she threaded my brows and tinted them. They look amazing!  Great service and great work. I decided to give this place a go because of the reviews and had my hopes up high, however, I will NOT be coming back. I specifically told the young lady that I want to just do a clean up and to keep my eyebrows thick. It's almost as if she heard the complete opposite of what I said. I hate my eyebrows. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded by Sita and her team for over a year, and they've been consistently great. I'm a natural redhead with lighter eyebrows that don't need a ton of maintenance but really needed some help shaping them and Sita was great in helping me with that. I used to be nicknamed Caterpillar eyebrows when I was growing up (kids are mean I know)and I just recently got them professional done couple years back with wax. I decided to do threading so I gave it a shot. She does a nice arch for my very hairy thick eyebrows and knows how to shape them evenly. The wax lady here is very nice. The wax room is inside of a nail salon. The room is quite small but she manages the space well. Although she takes into consideration whatever your concerns may be, I still find myself walking away with unsightly hairs. So I must say that having gone 3 times and seeing hairs left I will not be returning. Yes I received a Brazilian was. All hair should be removed. Sita was super nice and she did my lashes super fast (about an hour). I was originally supposed to meet her at 6 to get my lashes done, but due to a meeting that ran over, I ended up not getting to her til 6:30. She was still extremely accommodating and did my lashes even though they closed at 7pm. I really like how natural they looked (not too dramatic but enough to make a difference). Plus, Im always happy with the result: smooth skin, no dark spots, no bruises, no pain, and the result lasts long!
