I've been seeing Katie for over 4.5 years and her quality of care and service has meant so much to me. She has a very welcoming and calming presence, and I always feel at ease during our sessions. I was not new to waxing when I met Katie, but I instantly felt at home with her. I am so grateful to have found someone who feels like a friend and helps me feel and look amazing. She is quick, thorough, and she looks after my skin with helpful recommendations for care between visits. She is very careful with COVID, making sure I have a sanitized bin for my belongings, and she always wears a mask. The studio is in a beautiful store and the room is always warm. If you've only ever tried waxing, sugaring is a game changer. Yes, the hair is still removed from the root, but it's noticeably less painful than waxing. It also doesn't remove the top layer of skin the way waxing can, which makes a big difference in comfort and recovery. There's no sticky residue left behind after the appointment either, something I always dealt with when I used to wax. I'm also a big fan of how much less waste the sugaring process creates. The sugarer uses a single ball of sugar paste throughout the session, no double dipping, no wooden sticks, and no cloth strips to throw away. It's clean, efficient, and more environmentally friendly.
