The staff didn't flinch at my never-plucked brows or my not-yet-perfected skincare routines. They assured me they wouldn't overdo it and make me look like the girls in my high school classes with arches that made them appear perpetually surprised. They wouldn't try to make me look like someone else. They'd just shape my brows to look clean, neat, and compliment my face. Once it was done, I immediately felt better about my appearance. Even before the pinkness wore off on my freshly waxed skin, I was so happy. I immediately set up another appointment. Now I go every 4-6 weeks and get eyelash tinting too. I get the classic look which takes about 2 hours for initial full set for $100. Would highly recommend! I have been going to her for eyelash extensions and eyebrow waxing since January 2021. I love her work and her space. The place is located residentially and parking is easy to find up front. I have been wearing a mask and am fully vaccinated. I make sure to take my shoes off, wash my hands and make sure I arrive with a clean no make-up face. I always get compliments on my lashes even on the street from strangers since I hardly wear make-up these days. They help me feel put together during my work from home zoom calls with my camera on. It looks like I put enough effort to look groomed and professional. When going out, I don't even need to spend an extra 10 minutes doing my eye makeup especially being able to skip eyeliner, mascara, false lashes and glue -- it saves me time everyday. My lashes' retention looks natural and full even after a couple of weeks. I do try to go to her between 2 and 2.5 weeks because my lashes grow fast. Jessica's prices are very competitive and completely fair especially in the Bay Area. My most recent fill after 4 weeks of being out of town was $165 because I requested a curlier and longer lash. My other fills were $95 for wispy volume and were paid via Apple Pay as Jessica prefers that payment method over Venmo. Note that she is a small business owner so give her ample time if you need to reschedule or cancel. I needed to cancel last minute since I lost my wallet and the cancellation fee was the service amount I would have paid which is completely valid since that was part of the signed agreement. I found her on Yelp and hope that people find her more so that she can make this her full time gig since she's working a corporate job too. I never feel rushed and she makes sure there is plenty of time between her clients. She is so sweet, so therapeutic and gentle. She always plays gentle music and I fall asleep every time. She is super humble and fun to talk to but I eventually fall asleep because I'm so relaxed. She's never pinched my eye and I hardly feel the tape she uses as it doesn't pull or tug on my skin. She is the BEST!!! She does give you a new lash comb and snacks or beverages after your appointment. She really does go above and beyond to make her clients happy. Don't know where else to go for my lashes in the Bay. Honestly, she's probably my biggest beauty secret in my beauty maintenance routine. Book your appointment you won't regret it! :)
