I don't have the time to get anything done for myself anymore this is the second manicure I've had in a year, the person doing it her name was Sunny couldn't have been any more rude . She was seemingly being exasperated as I asked question and seemed to want to rush wouldn't even have a conversation with myself seem absolutely annoyed,I was going to get a full gel service but her being rude and making me feel so uncomfortable I decided to just finish up with a manicure and leave , and that parts even a mess and for a manager she's inst a person whom takes care of a client needs . I won't be back it was only 30 for a mani but horrible experience and the nails still look terrible . She knew what she was being like once I made my decision to leave . Man this was my second mani and the last place was just as bad it's like fresh out of beauty school kinda feel , I am a hairdresser and I know from good service and good nails . This update is just regards to the dip/powder manicures. I just can't seem to catch a rhythm with them on it. First, they don't do the massage of any kind with this service. No hot towel, no lotion. It's real bare bones. Previously, the woman who did dip/powder was so grumpy. She's not there anymore, but this recent time still, no sort of pampering with this service. And, to add to it, this time around, the woman didn't even cut cuticles or hang nails. And the polish didn't cover the full nail making the grow out that much quicker. The part she did was fine, but overall, it could have been better. Seemingly the move is regular/gel mani & pedi. I probably wouldn't do dip/powder again, here. read more

Clean and nice nail salon in Elmwood! I called ahead but I could've walked in though they were already so busy (10:30am on a Wednesday). I didn't wait long at all. I got a gel mani and the tech was efficient and super nice. They give you gloves when you cure under the UV light and I can only guess it's because whatever setting they use is higher (it almost hurt... lol) but I like that they give you plenty of time so I feel like the gel is super set and will last! The tech really took her time with painting, which I really appreciated! She gave me a shoulder/neck massage as an added bonus. The gel mani was $35 before tip. So reasonable and a decent job! The workers are very nice , and the space is accommodating despite how busy it can get near a college campus. However I DO NOT recommend to get gel x services done here. I got my nails done Friday 20th, by the 22nd my thumb nail completely came off, & today (the 29th) my pinkie nail fell off. Both times happened with something as simple as putting groceries away (didn't smash my nail or anything). Typically my gel x nails last a full 4-5 weeks until my next apt when done at nearby shops. Tried to set up a manipedi. After about five minutes of "what? A what?" the person working at a mani/pedi place understood what someone asking for a mani/pedi might need a mani/pedi, at which point they refused to sell services or make an appointment since the "boss is at a doctor's appointment until tomorrow. Call back tomorrow!" So a great place if you want to explain their business to them and also do not want to be able to purchase services or make an appointment (or, unsurprisingly but for full disclosure, gift). Seems terrible if you want a mani/pedi. Maybe great if you just like having your time wasted on a phone call. read more

Ladies are very very kind but unfortunately my manicure was botched. As soon as I got home I had to refile my nails because they were so sloppy and uneven, which was a big disappointment. My Mani Pedi - no gel - cost $45 not including tip and that included a complimentary massage. Typically at nail salons, the massage is just calves and lower arms / hands but they also massaged the rest of my arms and neck! If you love strong hands, ask for V. I never like to leave bad reviews but I had Horrible experience getting a pedicure on Valentine's Day . Came in and asked if they had availability qnd said I didn't mind waiting since they were busy and they quickly rushed me to a chair to only have someone come and pretend to do a pedicure on me. Didn't even clean my nails for more than 3 mins and then was done within like 10 minutes of the pedicure. I stopped her at the polish and decided to leave. Despite the bad reviews on the acrylics nails, I decided to give this place a shot. I regret my decision immediately after. I went in for a fill and a pedicure which came out to a total of $68. Pros: staff is super sweet and friendly. Cons: they work too quickly and are not detail oriented when doing nails. The owner is the only one who handles acrylics nails. The whole time while she was doing my fill she was handling other customers and answered 6 phone calls while doing my nails. Not to mention that it felt extremely rushed and the outcome was bad. The photo doesn't show the minute details but she filed my nails after applying color and unevenly applied the nail polish which makes it appear lumpy in person. I'm a nail newbie so I don't have a very sophisticated judgement for nail salons but overall I think this place is good and I would return. They seem to have some kind of system where they charge you extra per finger that you have a design on. I ended up paying $60 for refill with 4 "fancy fingers" (2 on each hand). The tech who did my nails was very nice and when I pointed out some changes I wanted she was very accommodating. She even added her own artistic flair to the other fingers which turned out very cute!
