I genuinely dislike leaving negative reviews, but this was unfortunately the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I called ahead because my usual nail tech was unavailable for my wedding day. I specifically asked if they carried the powder my original nail tech uses for an ombré acrylic set, and I was told they did. When I got in the chair, I showed them the exact brand and product I was looking for. I figured an ombré set wouldn't be too difficult if they had the correct powder, so I trusted that I could get the look I wanted. Unfortunately, they didn't actually have the powder. I really wish they could have just been upfront and said that they didn't have it. I would have happily gone somewhere else rather than end up not getting the color I wanted for my wedding day. On top of that, the service itself was very rough. My hands were handled aggressively, my cuticles were cut up, and one of my fingers was left bleeding. The entire set also took about three hours. I understand that not every salon can provide every service or color, but if you can't achieve what a customer is asking for, please just be honest about it before starting the service. I would have much rather gone somewhere else. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed, especially knowing this was for such an important day. read more

Pretty disappointed, I chose NT Nails and was really excited about them because they're supposed to be really good at gel x and builder gel, but I think they're more suitable if you're looking to have really long extensions. I called ahead of time and said I was planning to drop in around 4, I was told to come and it sounded like they were pretty free. When I did arrive at 4:15, the salon was full, and I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. It ended up being almost 30 minutes, and I would've left except I really needed get my nails shortened. I had grown out gel x that I got from out of town and wanted to get the length along with my grown out natural nails shaved down and then a fill in with builder gel. It went fine in the beginning, but when we got to shaping, I ended up with several little cuts and nicks from the shaping process, one of them in particular was pretty deep and actively hurts. For color, I wanted burgundy, so reddish-purple, but they were out of the first 2 colors I chose, which was super disappointing because none of the rest really matched right. I also didn't realize that the inspo image I had used chrome dust finish, and the nail tech started the process without telling me, and I would've appreciated being told ahead of time that she was doing chrome dust because I thought she was doing a normal top coat before lineart, but it was a matte top coat, which turned the glossy nail color into a really ugly, dark brown-black shade. I ended up asking her to change it back and use gold polish instead, but she painted the gold polish onto the matte polish (making it really hard to tell what the finished nail would look like) before top coating and turning it glossy all at once. The lineart with the gold polish was very sloppy and uneven, but by this point we were 2 hours into the appointment (plus the 30 minutes wait before that), so I just wanted it to be over. Anyway everyone was super nice, but would not recommend for shorter nails nor nail art. read more

Ann did my nails and she was absolutely amazing super professional, detailed, and patient. The design came out exactly how I asked, even better than I imagined. I really wanted to love this salon because everyone has always been friendly, but my experiences have been inconsistent. I've been here three times, and the quality of my nails has depended entirely on who was doing the service. During one visit, my Gel-X set came out very lumpy and the appointment felt rushed, as if the focus was on getting through clients quickly rather than providing quality work. During my most recent visit, I was told I would receive a $10 discount for leaving a Yelp review. While they were still finishing my pedicure, I posted an honest 3-star review based on my experiences. Almost immediately, the manager came over, stood over me, and repeatedly asked me to delete my review because they "only want 5-star reviews." I explained that I was simply being honest, but she continued questioning my review while I was still in the chair receiving my service. Instead of honoring the promised $10 discount, I was only given $5 off. After this happened, I looked through their Yelp reviews and noticed a pattern. Whenever someone leaves constructive feedback or shares a less-than-perfect experience, the business is quick to respond with explanations or reasons why the customer is wrong, rather than acknowledging the feedback or taking accountability. Unfortunately, that mirrored my own experience in the salon when I was pressured to remove my honest review instead of having my concerns heard. I believe businesses should welcome honest feedback, whether it's positive or constructive. Being pressured to remove my review during my appointment made me feel very uncomfortable and overshadowed what could have been a much better experience. The staff is kind, but unfortunately the inconsistent quality and the way my honest feedback was handled make it difficult for me to recommend this salon. read more

This is my 3rd time coming here. They are honest with their prices when you ask upfront. I got a spa pedicure this time and it was relaxing, I literally fell asleep. I Got Juneteenth nails and they are beautiful. It's better to call ahead for an appointment. If you walk in you may have to wait. I love getting my nails done with Cherry and Nicki... HIGHLY unsanitary, and the gentleman that did my nails was busy watching a game or something on their phone, and was inattentive to my service.
