I really wanted to love this salon because everyone has always been friendly, but my experiences have been inconsistent. I've been here three times, and the quality of my nails has depended entirely on who was doing the service. During one visit, my Gel-X set came out very lumpy and the appointment felt rushed, as if the focus was on getting through clients quickly rather than providing quality work. During my most recent visit, I was told I would receive a $10 discount for leaving a Yelp review. While they were still finishing my pedicure, I posted an honest 3-star review based on my experiences. Almost immediately, the manager came over, stood over me, and repeatedly asked me to delete my review because they "only want 5-star reviews." I explained that I was simply being honest, but she continued questioning my review while I was still in the chair receiving my service. Instead of honoring the promised $10 discount, I was only given $5 off. After this happened, I looked through their Yelp reviews and noticed a pattern. Whenever someone leaves constructive feedback or shares a less-than-perfect experience, the business is quick to respond with explanations or reasons why the customer is wrong, rather than acknowledging the feedback or taking accountability. Unfortunately, that mirrored my own experience in the salon when I was pressured to remove my honest review instead of having my concerns heard. I believe businesses should welcome honest feedback, whether it's positive or constructive. Being pressured to remove my review during my appointment made me feel very uncomfortable and overshadowed what could have been a much better experience. HIGHLY unsanitary, and the gentleman that did my nails was busy watching a game or something on their phone, and was inattentive to my service. The towels they use were brown and had nail polish stains all over them. I came a few months prior to this experience and it was the SAME way, different tech same service. I came in with already "square" nails, that's the only shape I ever get on my NATURAL NAILS. why do I have duck shaped nails now? ?? And you called the CUT a surface scratch? When he sliced my finger with an unsanitary nail file that he pulled from the drawer(I'll insert more pictures). My first reaction was I hope I don't get an infection And YOU DID NOT OFFER A DISCOUNT. I REQUESTED A DISCOUNT. No one apologized immediately, you tried to fix it Trieu but I wouldn't let you continue to dig into a cut more with a nail file Then you say you only worked on the surface of my nails and there's a claim about hard gel underneath well I'll add more photos of that as well. The reason why he sliced my finger is because he packed on too much gel on the corner of my nails and tried to go back and shape the excessive amount of gel he applied The "scratch" is A CUT. A OPEN WOUND you knew he made a mistake when you decided to argue with him in front of me instead of apologizing to your paying customer: WHAT DISAPPOINTS ME MOST is that after being a regular for 4 years that I wasn't treated with respect or didn't get a single apology. After 4 years of patronizing your business you would think that business has enough respect to atleast apologize and offer a discount. Again I had to request a discount. I had to leave and deal with discomfort all day and unfinished nails because of a mistake you guys made. And basically told me oh it'll heal and come back.. yea ok I left worst than I came. I was in a bind and decided to try this salon out. They were just opening up and there were no customers inside upon my arrival. I should have known from the cold greeting that I received that this was not the place for me to be. I was told to have a seat. There was a Buddha altar set up right in front of where I was sitting and one of the technicians lit incense which smelled REALLY strong and was blowing right in front of me. WHY would anyone do that? It was just downhill from there. The "language barrier" excuses. Giving me the WORST nail color options to look at. Picking out a color (it was Orange) which I did NOT pick out. As a matter of fact NO WHERE NEAR THAT! I had to get my nail polish on my feet removed and not at least having the feet soaking to soften them up? Usually a place will have one foot soaking in water while they work on the other foot. Talking loudly to each other in Vietnamese and occasionally one would look at me while they were talking and laughing. It was rude and unacceptable. By the time the manager arrived I was about to "go there" but she was pleasant enough and apologetic. I wanted to just start my nails again from scratch with no gel or builder foundation. Like a fool I let her talk me into getting the builder gel. Some of the polish is already chipping and the polish looks too thick and I believe the quality of the polish used was poor so I am going to find a new place to have this garbage taken off of my nails and start the slow but NOT impossible process of starting from scratch with REGULAR manicured nails that will initially be weak from the grinding and toxic chemicals that I have subjected them to but in time I KNOW will be strong again! I am DONE dealing with fake, greedy, manipulative nail salons that when you come in as a new customer most often they try to pawn their WORST workers off on you and then get an attitude when you politely call them out on it and request a more experienced technician. I have been getting my nails done for over 40 years! Even if Im not getting the "deluxe" pedicure why should my feet still be dry with dead skin on them? Why should my nail polish ALREADY be peeling after only ONE week? read more

I had a very subpar experience at NT Nails - the technician working on my nails was watching a video while working and was paying much more attention to the video than my nails and made multiple mistakes as a result. They were also jerking my arm around throughout the service and the design was not even close to what I requested. At the end of my appointment, they kept hustling me to pay by asking every 2 seconds while I was still gathering by bag and jacket. It's super disappointing considering that many of the other nails that I saw during my appointment looked visually nice from other people, but this particular technician lacked skill and acted quite unprofessional. read more

nooooo i will never be coming back. two stars is only because the woman doing my nails was sweet. ten dollars extra to remove gel for a pedicure-- i had a gem stone on my big toe, which warranted an extra $5 charge to remove it. if you're coming in, go ahead and remove rhinestones and charms yourself with a clipper beforehand! there was tons of visible dead skin left on my heels and feet that i could literally grab with my fingers. they really rushed through the service and im going to have to use a pumice stone and cuticle care at home after a $50 basic pedicure (no gel or design). they also did not have all of the colors in the book that they presented me. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I've been on a nail salon hunt to find a place I can be loyal to. I initially was not going to write a yelp review I figured it was just another miss and I would move onto finding the next. The 3 stars are strictly for the two ladies that were helpful to me during the time I was there. I went in asking for something similar to a photo posted here on their yelp. Unfortunately either only 1 person (not sure who) knows how to do everything in the photo examples they have posted on their yelp and website, or the work doesn't belong to any of the employees. I would hope they didn't just steal really good nail photos posing them as their own. Another reason I chose this salon was because they are Licensed Verified on here. I've came across a few that have non licensed nail techs doing services. I already had acrylic on so I left it up to the artist they put me with if he wanted to do a fill or remove and start fresh. I didn't mind either way. He began to remove my acrylic nails without even soaking them and allowing them to sit in foil to soften up. Didn't do that at all, just starting ripping my acrylic nails off of my weak natural nail. Extremely painful. The lady next to him told him I was hurting and to stop. He got through maybe 2-3 nails removing that way until I asked him to stop and to soak them because it hurt. Then he proceeds to clip down my natural nails and CLIPPED MY SKIN! He cut too far down with the nail clippers causing more pain with part of the nail hanging from my skin. He kept moving it up and down and I kept saying that hurts please stop. The minute the nail came off my skin it started bleeding. After that he got very frustrated, he wrapped the rest of my acrylic nails with acetone and foil, he got up and walk off to the back and never came back out. I sat there for a while until someone became available to help me. I showed her the same photo as before, one that they have uploaded and she didn't seem confident to be able to do it so I opted for just simple French tips. I had been there for a good two hours for an acrylic set of French tips. The ladies apologized for the way the male artist behaved. The vibe was pretty tense in there. Now that my nail is growing the cut under my nail is still hurting and keeps getting re-injured and it's unfortunate. I still paid full price. And I'll never go back. I just hope he thoroughly sanitized the tools that made me bleed. read more
