Been here for a couple pedicures now, and I can say from my most recent visit that they've done a great job with their health and safety protocols. They leave the doors wide open for air flow, hand sanitizer is waiting for you, and there is plexiglass dividing you and the technician and you and the other customers. I haven't seen this at all nail salons so it definitely sets them apart from the rest! I did a walk-in on my most recent visit (my first pedi in over a year!) and they were able to get me in within about 15mins. No complaints about the pedicure and they were a really pleasant team of ladies. That pedicure lasted me for quite awhile! $30 for a pedicure and they prefer cash. Definitely recommend! read more

NAILS DONT LAST. I came here and got an acrylic fill 8 days ago and the gel began peeling off 3 days later. At this point the gel has come off almost all my nails. Took a friend here for a manicure for her birthday. My nails were splitting, a bit brittle, and short, so a technician suggested Gel-X to help them grow out, and it was my first time trying this. While I think this salon is decent at regular/gel manicures (my pedicure was great) I do not recommend going here for anything beyond that. A few things: - The color was not the one I selected. I selected a pearl color and it went on clear - I was reassured it would match the sample after three coats. It did not. - The polish wasn't drying properly, so the technician had to repaint my thumb several times. Each time she repainted she did so without a base coat, when I suggested she start with a base coat it finally stuck. - The top coat was not smooth at all, but patchy and I had to request they apply it over many nails - The glue under the Gel-X was so thick it actually cut my skin and I had to file it at home - The actual gel x nails started to fall off as soon as I got home. I asked another salon closer to where I live to reapply and they were shocked by the job that was done. - More nails kept falling off - 6 so far. It's been 3 days. I would have gone back to get this completely redone but I was traveling and am out of town for the holidays so I have to fix this elsewhere. Update on 12/22/23: Hi Glamour Salon team: Thank you for the offer to refill, but I have to travel to three cities this holiday (which is why I was hoping these nails would last). I had to squeeze in an appointment to a nearby salon to redo my nails. While I won't be coming back, I would appreciate a refund of the manicure (not the pedicure or the tip), if possible. read more

I took my daughter in to have her acrylic nails removed. They did a TERRIBLE job, leaving some of the acrylics attached, grinding almost all the way through my daughter's nail in other places...(yes, she is in pain!!!), and leaving her nails a jagged glue covered mess. The sign said $15 for acrylic removal, and they had the nerve to charge us $25 after destroying my daughter's nails and not even fully removing the acrylics. read more

Came in with my friend to do gel x extensions, however, we were very disappointed due to the fact that it was not gel x at all. Ive gotten gel x all my life, and what they did to our nails were just like the normal press on nail kits you can buy at cvs. 5/10 nails popped right off that same night that we got them done. although i do not know how their other services are, i do not recommend doing gel x at this location. read more

I walked in for a manipedi. The ladies warmly welcomed and gave me the best mani pedi that still lasts over a month (see photo). I've been getting mani pedis for years. These ladies did the best out of all the places I've tried. Not rushed, carefully took their time, listened and executed as I requested I told them that I wanted my nails to look natural, not thick. She took the time to carefully buff it down thin enough to look natural. I chose a spring yellow color, they recommended to color just the tips and I received lots of compliments on this style. This is probably the worst nail shop to ever come to. A friend and I decided to come due to the mediocre reviews. We both got dipping powder on our natural nails and a pedicure. Two days later the dipping powder on both of our nails startted to crack. I've been getting dipping powder for over two years now and it has never cracked like this. I went back to get a five nails fixed and I was hopeful it wouldn't happen again. While I was getting my nails fixed another lady walked in with the same problem. Keep in mind, we both got our nails done the same day but different time frames. Moral to the story three people that same day came back to the nail shop to get their nails fixed. After getting my nails fixed, two days later four nails are cracked again. I am honestly disappointed with the quality and products they use here. I never in my life experienced someone yelling or getting upset because I requested my nails to be done a certain way. When I tell you she yelled talking to the other lady. I even apologized to calm her down. I believe if I'm paying my money for something I have the right to have it the way I want. At that point she refused, to do my nails. It's unfortunate that the nail technician reacted with such negativity when you requested a certain style. As a paying customer, it's completely reasonable to expect your preferences to be respected. Additionally, it's concerning that she wanted to forcefully remove your nails after causing harm. It's understandable that you no longer wanted her to continue. They seem like nice people but the craft is not good here. I went in needing a fill on an acrylic set, my nails were long and almond shaped, the acrylic the lady used was lumpy and she did not seem to understand that I wanted my nails smooth, all the same shape and consistency. I gave her a chance to correct it a second time and it still looked terrible. This was supposed to be my Mother's Day weekend set of nails but they were ruined and I ended up leaving with my nails cut off because she refused to fix them. Just to think I came in with long nails which I intended to have filled and left with short nails because I felt I had no other option. When I asked her to make my nails short, she just chopped them off didn't try to shape or file them. I asked if my appointment was over and she said "yes, you go somewhere else". (Lol) I was never rude with these people I think she just knew she messed my nails up and wasn't going to be able to fix them to my expectations, so she chose to cut my nails off and send me on my way. When I asked for them to be cut as a last resort I would at least think she would try to make them look decent but she didn't give a care. They were just not caring or compassionate for the customer. I rarely leave bad reviews for places, especially locally-owned. But this is truly the worst gel manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten. Half of my toes are only partially panted - as in, naked nail on half and a glob of paint on the other half. My fingers aren't much better, there's a huge gap between the gel and my cuticle. And I don't mean that neat space good places do - I mean like it's a straight line and a full centimeter from my end of the nail. Many fingers began lifting before I even left the salon. Finally, one of my thumbs wasn't cured properly. I was tired and there were a few other people in the salon so I left without saying anything so to not raise a ruckus. A small establishment with only about 4 chairs, this spot does a good job on the nails. Definitely more of a barebones operation: bathroom could use some work, and the space is far from posh. However, both women who worked on my hands and feet did a great job on the cuticles and the nails, with a solid arm and leg massage. Worst manicure I've ever gotten. She's very fast but that's because she's careless and she made me bleed - 4 spots to be exact. Now they didn't bleed like crazy or anything but it hurt really bad when she then put the polish on the top. I really hope that she did sterilize the tools. I know she felt sorry about it but she could have tried to slow it down. The actual work wasn't good either. She missed some edges of my nails. I spent 30 bucks getting French tips with gel manicure and I felt so not worth it considering what I ended up getting. Getting a manicure is supposed to be enjoyable but it's really painful here. Our nails look spectacular!!! My cuticles look clean, I experienced nominal pain (a second or two under the UV light), and I LIKE that it was a short mani. And it was empty most of the time so we got free massages from their massage chairs. The bad: We booked 3 of us for a 3:30 appt, and only 1 of us went at that time. It was a 20-minute wait after appt time till I got started. Also, they don't have the gel nail swatches like most places. Instead, you pick a color from the regular nail polish selection and they attempt to match it. I like the color I got, but it's not really the color I picked. I'd go back tho! I wanted a gel manicure before I went into labor. Specifically, I wanted the design of baby foot prints on my nails. Hey, if I'm going to be in pain, I might as well have something pretty to look at. My beautician had never done the foot print design before but she was willing to take a stab at it. I think she was being modest because she did an amazing job. I normally get my nails done in Dublin But decided to try this place out because it is near my house. It is a small little place and normally there isn't a lot of people there. I normally get a pedicure twice in a month and I'm normally at the nail shop for two hours (this includes the full set I get at the same time) but these ladies were really fast and the quality of the work was nice. The tools however didn't seem as hygienic and clean but the outcome was really nice. 12/6/19 I got a full set with designs and a gel pedicure .... the lady that did my pedicure was Rough af and seemed to be annoyed to even be there. Was throwing things in the tub when she was emptying/cleaning , passive aggressively missing hitting my feet with the items . Then the lady that did my full set literally cut me a couple times . She was rough too . The supplies were dull and instead of getting new ones she just filed harder or pressed harder ... then I get home and I realize the powder that waon 6 nails are glow in the dark .... I came here to treat myself after finishing my finals. I thought that their pricings are quite reasonable - $25 for a gel manicure. It wasn't too expensive, so I decided to get a gel manicure for the first time. Two minutes in and I was horrified with their work. All the equipment (nail clippers, nail filer, sponge, cuticle cutters), were used, and she did not bother wiping them at all before using them on my nails. After filing my nails, she dusted them off with a sponge. I could still see nail shavings on my nails when she started applying coatings onto my nails. During the process of painting my nails, one of the other customers in the salon had accidentally scratched her toe nail and needed some retouching. The lady working on my nails retouched the toe nail (which involved touching the toes), before returning to help me without washing her hands. The lady worked pretty fast, and in less than half an hour, my nails were done. I was very impressed with the result. However, I was again a bit grossed out when she massaged my arms with oil that made my skin feel super soft. The gross part was that there was still nail dust and shavings on my arms, but I guess she didn't notice or cared. Anyways, I really liked the fast service and pricing. My nails actually didn't chip for a month either. I just wished that they were mindful of hygiene and keeping the equipment clean. read more
