Unfortunately, my eyebrows are now ruined. I came in to get my eyebrows tinted and threaded. While the tinting went fine, the threading was absolutely terrible. The eyebrows don't look similar at ALL. After asking for them to be more symmetrical, I was told it's because "I don't have hair there". This isn't true though. When I came in, I had nicely shaped eyebrows that just needed a light threading. However, now the shape of my eyebrows is hideous. read more

She's very flexible and nice with times when making an appointment. My eyebrows are very light so it's important to have a skilled threader. I've tried a few other places where I didn't see much of a difference; or my eyebrows came out very uneven that it was un-fixable unless I wanted to thread off most of my eyebrow, so I had to fill in my eyebrows until they grew out again. At Jasmi, I don't need to worry because my eyebrows come out consistently nice. After each appointment, my eyebrows are more defined and have the perfect amount of arch fitting for my facial structure. I moved to the Bay Area a couple months ago. I'm still trying to get familiar with all the small cities. I haven't had threading done since the first quarantine in March so it's been a very long time. I'm the type of gal that sticks to the same person that takes care of my personal care. Well, I'm 500+ miles away from where I went to religiously. I was in Emeryville doing a little shopping and while I was browsing I told myself to get in Yelp and find someone that does threading. After reviewing all the shops, I chose Jasmi. I called her immediately to make an appointment for full face threading. Surprisingly she had a slot available. When I got to the shop, I believe she had two walk-ins so I told her I don't mind waiting. More clients started coming in and just wanted their eyebrows threaded. I decided I should just reschedule for the next day, but she had someone that was able to take care of me. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed because the woman who took care of me was in a rush and didn't thread my full face like I'm used to, but I was thinking maybe their technique is different. Jasmi had no clients left so I got the chance to chat with her. The other woman left. Jasmi noticed that there was quite a few spots that weren't threaded. She insisted that she will take care of me. I went to see her first to get my brows threaded and they looked fantastic afterwards-- didn't take too long and not painful (I am used to having my brows threaded). I then asked her about lash extensions and she quoted a great price for me and scheduled me for the next morning. I came in that next day for the appointment (that she scheduled for me before she typically opens, so nice) and had a very relaxing time getting the extensions placed.
