We live nearby and came here a couple of times over the past 2 years. No more than 5 though, bc usually my smoothies didn't taste good and I didn't really like going because of that. When my husband mentioned he was craving jamba, I decided to look at yelp to see if people were saying it had improved or anything, but I found multiple bad reviews. I was skeptical of going and didn't plan on getting anything for myself as I was certain it would turn out badly like every other time we've been. The girl who took our order, Haley, was super friendly and I changed my mind and decided to get a smoothie. They tasted really good, and she gave them to us with a smile. Today's bad visit prompted this review, though it's not the first time I've been disappointed with my experiences here. You would expect a smoothie place to be good at making...smoothies. Alas, that is not the case. Every smoothie I've ordered has been so lumpy! Hey Jamba Juice! Replace the blades in your blender! I don't like chewing on lumps of kale in my Apple n Greens smoothie! Additionally, I have stopped ordering my fave item on their menu, carrot juice, at this location because it never tasted very good. Don't know why. Secret Menu Item: "Pink Starburst," I get it just about every time I come to Jamba, with the only exception being when they have their seasonal piña colada drink, in which case - I get that! It taste just like the name implies - a pink starburst! I add in a whey protein boost to all my drinks for a little protein boos! (PS... The whey protein boost makes the drink "fluffier" than normal; thus, when I order a small, they always put it in a medium cup so none is wasted.) Well I mainly come to this Jamba Juice because it's near where I live and at least the juice is good. Pretty much all of the Jambas I've been to have all the same menus and prices but I guess the difference with this one is how fast I get my order. This place doesn't take dramatically long but it seems like it takes a little longer than other places. Even if I just order one smoothie for myself and there isn't too many people in line it takes longer than I anticipate. Other than the wait for your order, same Jamba as usual. read more

Jamba Juice is poorly managed. The machines are down, employees are short handed, and the air conditioner was down. The next day the door was broken which didn't allow them to open. They still serve a decent product however the atmosphere needs immediate attention. read more

Usually I feel like Jamba juice is a good idea with bad execution. Decent smoothies and stuff, wish it was more local and the people who work there cared more about the customer than gossiping with their coworkers. I still go once in a while because it's between dropping mr. man pants at work and home and today I stopped for some oatmeal. They have a new flavor, not on the menu, berry cherry pecan. I gotta tell you, I was impressed. It actually tastes like correctly cooked oatmeal, not that it came out of a packet and a couple ounces of boiling water were adding 2 seconds before it was handed to you. Not just that but the toppings were great, the berries and pecan were just right, enough to have a great flavor but you weren't just eating a bowl of cherries and pecans. I got the original acai bowl today. The serving size was a good amount for the price but the acai was soupy. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it supposed to have the same frozen like texture as a smoothie? Almost every time I come here, there is no oatmeal "we just ran out". Almost everyone that works here is completely careless about their work. Almost every time I come here, the employees are talking about bs while taking their sweet time making the order. Which would probably be ok if their juice tasted good. But It really doesn't. I know because I frequently go to the one on ward, and the one at the airport..and they are fast, friendly, not talking about bs, they are NEVER out of oatmeal, and all the drinks taste good. This is the closest one to my house but I am willing to go to another one, because this one flat out sucks. The last time I was here, I ordered orange carrot juice. I got carrot juice without orange ...that was obviously made from carrots that were super old. When almost everything sucks (service, product, employees) It means its the manager or owner. I love Jamba Juice since I have moved to the island. I usually get it after school on Monday's as a pick me up before a long day at dance. I love the energy that it gives me and how great it taste. Everyone that's employed here a great except for one employee (short asian/local female) that does not know how to properly run a register especially for promotions and gets orders not in chronological order (mixes them up). Extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. I came in with my boyfriend and we had a buy one get one free coupon. I ordered two small smoothies both priced at $5.19. I gave the cashier the coupon and he disregarded it. He instead rung me up with a 2 for $6. We went back to correct the transaction. Not only did he give attitude, but he called his coworker over and told him he didn't know how to punch in the bogo offer (clearly he was lazy the first time). I absolutely love Jamba Juice and used to go everyday until I lived near this specific location. Nearly 90% of the smoothies I've ordered here are bland and tasteless, I described it as colored ice, another sign the employees may not care is the atrocious service, there are countless times I am left waiting at the register for 5 minutes or more it seems while they slowly clean dishes in the back, or finish up 1 smoothie while 4 people are waiting in line, and there is a free employee not doing much of anything. Last time I was there they also served people out of order, as I watched my unmixed beverage get jumped in line about 3 times before they finally served me, which is frustrating if you're in a rush. Any other Jamba in the Pearl/Aiea region does not exhibit these problems and the employees seem much more energetic and customer friendly at the other locations as well read more

Everyone that's employed at this store has a great attitude, except for one employee whose name is Andrea (with red hair), who is a sales manager for this store. Andrea was extremely rude and unprofessional; she yelled (perhaps cursed) at her employees to clean the sink, in front of customers waiting in line. That kind of attitude and behavior towards other employees in front of customers is unacceptable in such a healthy food environment. I don't understand how Andrea was hired as a manager for this store. In addition to her bad attitude towards the other employees of this store, she even messed up my order that day. Since I've been going to this store, I noticed on many occasions the terrible service and negative attitude that Andrea has displayed. I love Jamba Juice; however, Brittany (in training) was extremely rude and ruined my experience. I walked in and we made eye contact so I said hello with a smile on my face and she was sort of biting the side of her lip looking annoyed and said what can I get for you. No greeting, no smile, nothing. I made my order and she couldn't hear me so she said say again and instead of confirming she got my order she just told me the total. Didn't ask me if I wanted anything else just stood there looking annoyed not greeting any other customers who walked in the door. She gave me my change and just said " twenty-seven cents" no thank you or okay here's your change. Just simply rude and no people skills. I've worked in customer service for a very long time and this is NOT how you treat customers. I did not feel welcomed and the whole time I was waiting I felt extremely awkward with her rude attitude. Whoever is training her needs to work on customer service. Either that or she should simply not be working the cash register if she cannot act accordingly. read more
