I just went last week Thursday January 29, 2026 in the morning I had the waffle combo with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon it was so delicious the waffle so soft n crunchy in the right places the eggs fluffy plentiful and the bacon just perfect tasting. I had a coffee too which was great tasting n hot. The service is always awesome so friendly and helpful. The ambience is so chill too I'll be back soon.

One of the best breakfast places I ever ate at. Food was delicious and service was fast! Ordered through the QRS code on the table. Waited 10mins for our order and everything was perfect. Loved their strawberries and cream waffle and French toast!

Breakfast spot... Thanks to Nadine who made this a gathering place as they have lots of tables in the back making it an easy spot to gather up the gang and with lots of free parking and you pay first at the counter makes it an easy place for many to enjoy. From Pancakes and Waffles to French toast and Benies they have all the local faves like loco moco and yes plate lunches here, they open nice and early from 6:30am so I decided to grab some breakfast and it was the Breakfast Bento on their specials as it has all the yummies with Portuguese sausage, spam and sausage with scrambled eggs and a scoop of rice it was a fast and easy fix for this morning rush time before I head for work. The staff is nice and friendly getting my order in inefficiently though it's card only here no cash but with this lovely vibe here you're sure to have a great start to your day. Thank you!

Pancakes was delicious even tho I was expecting more ham and cheese in the pancakes. the omelet was also good they did not shy from putting spam inside. where we lost 2 stars is there is no service. u seat down order thru QR code they deliver the food. if u want water u have to get it yourself. then the ask u for a 15-25% tip. Maybe I'm old fashion but I like when a person comes and takes your order. The place is clean the staff behind the counter seem nice. No bathroom they are outside. Will I eat hear again? Yes

We decided to try this place for breakfast and it was an amazing experience! From the delicious food to the great staff this place was fantastic. We ordered the country breakfast which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage, and the chicken and waffles, plus a side of fried rice. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was so savory which paired well with the buttermilk biscuits, then adding in the over easy eggs and sausage made it that much better; a true classic. The chicken and waffles came with two giant pieces of chicken thighs fried placed on a crispy waffle. The chicken it self had a crispy outer layer and a juicy inside, mixing in a bite of the crispy waffle and sweet syrup gives this plate a super satisfying taste. The fried rice was great and went well with everything we ordered. The staff was super nice and answered any questions we had about the menu, the food came out really quick, they took our plates after we finished eating, and always checked on us to see if we needed anything else! I love cafe/diner style restaurants and pancake and waffles fits the bill, it's so cozy and clean inside and gives you that nostalgic feeling of eating in a small town diner. They also serve lunch and dinner so we will definitely be back to try it. Please come and check it out for yourself and see why it's worth five stars!

Scottish style bangers (not the real deal but tasty)

It was so good we didn't come back for 5 years based on my last review date lol! We wound up here because we tried to go to Guieb (line down the street at 9am), Koa pancake house (another crowd outside) so we came here because I don't care how good the food is, waiting in line ain't worth my time! We got right in. They now have a QR code on your table you can order and pay on OR you can order and pay at the counter. Plenty of parking. Nice staff. Clean. Decent grub. Not much to complain about except I think it's a bit overpriced for the quality and ambience. I'm just not a breakfast person. Their waffles are fluffy and soft, no crisp to them. Like a pancake who identifies as a waffle if that makes sense. I like how you can customize everything (the ordering app makes it easy to see all the options and added prices). Beware that it all adds up fast tho! My chorizo Benedict was pretty good. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the chorizo tasted like spicy curried meat crumbles, which surprised me. The hollandaise sauce was watery and bland. It was surprisingly spicy! Hash browns were perfectly cooked! Their honey fried chicken was juicy and crispy and piping hot. $5.45 for 1 single piece seems excessive tho. Overall it's a solid choice if you want a big breakfast without a hassle!

Good breakfast food with free convenient parking in the same complex as Young's Fish Market. A nice mix of American and Local breakfast fare including loco Moco and kalbi, they are known for their Chicken and waffles. The chicken was tasty with crispy skin. Waffles were good but I would have preferred them to be a little more crispy. I was told I could have ordered them extra crispy after the fact. My aunty got the bacon waffle which was good. Portions were sizable. It was perfect for grabbing breakfast on the way to the airport.

Don't sleep on their bentos. This isn't just a breakfast place. I got the Korean chicken bento...it did not disappoint. The chicken was tasty and reminded me of Aiea Bowling Alley's original tasty chicken. So good!

Open nice & early . Open floor plan. Order & have a seat. Wasn't crazy about the sauce but waffle good and golden , chicken was crispy and decent . Service was great . I would visit again

Something different for lunch. Chicken and waffle. It is a clean and quiet place for lunch. Service is a walk up counter where you can order to eat in or to go. You can also seat at the table and scan the QR code to order and pay your meal. Ordered the honey chicken and waffle. Came with one waffle and two large crunchy deep fried chicken thighs with a drizzle of honey The waffle was crunchy golden brown and little chewy. Chicken was nice and also golden brown and crunchy. You could have ordered it with gravy instead of the honey drizzle. Pros: The food is hot golden brown and crunchy. Chicken moist and cooked well. Con: I tried eating the chicken by it self. With out the gravy or the honey drizzle. Eating the chicken alone. After eating all the crunchy skin off. The chicken is kinda plain. I add some salt. Would I go back? I always try to go back to give a second review on places I was unhappy with the food.

Considering they're understaffed (per a sign at the register), Pancakes and waffles did not disappoint on food quality, portion size, and variety of their menu. My grandfather and I went for brunch around 10:45am on a Friday and were able to snag a booth. Parking is ample in the shopping center, and we enjoyed judging people park at a 30deg angle from our front row seats next to the large window. The restaurant is well lit and inviting, and would be a great space to host a big brunch event! We ordered the short stack blueberry pancakes and honey fried chicken and waffles. Both were fresh and hot out of the oven, and we have plenty of leftovers for a snack later. The menu boasts a variety of local and traditional breakfast items, as well as diner food like sandwiches, burgers, etc. definitely come hungry and bring friends so you can share different things!

Five stars. The food was great. Had the vegetarian omelette and side pancakes. They're very generous for the side pancakes with three of them! I could only eat one and took the other two to-go. The service was top notch. Ordered at the front and they served it to us at the table. Awesome stuff! The ambiance was nice and a clean dining area. Went early in the morning, so it was not crowded at all. A win!

    Chorizo Benedict with fried rice
    CJ K.

My go to dish from here is the chorizo Benedict with fried rice. It's salty (in a good way), savory, and smooth. I like upgrading the side to the fried rice because it soaks up all of the sauce when I finish eating the eggs Benedict which enhances the flavor of the fried rice. It definitely fills me up and sometimes I'm full until dinner lol. Plenty of seating inside ranging from booths to tables. And plenty of parking outside

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. The staff were friendly and very helpful with giving us recommendations. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, and honestly it was too much food for us. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
