This was my second time at Jam, and hopefully not my last! A forewarning- I'm going to take you on a bit of a journey here. I am from Arizona and had my first experience at Jam on a cross-country motorcycle trip three years ago. We visited on a busy morning for brunch, and my entire party thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered. However, I was mistakenly given a gluten-free pancake instead of regular, and to apologize, the manager at the time gave me a bottle of their housemade hot sauce, which they didn't sell- it was DELECTABLE! My husband and I took the sauce home and savored every bit of it, and we were able to make it last three months. Fast forward to now- my husband and I are on an extended trip in Idaho Falls, and we decided to take a weekend trip up to Bozeman to see if we could taste some of our favorite hot sauce again. Once we were seated at the bar at Jam, we were met with friendly and prompt service, just like we remembered. We ordered the full order of the fried chicken Benedict, served atop honey cornbread- it was plenty for two people! The chicken was sliced thin and fried, but somehow SO moist, and perfectly seasoned! The cornbread had the perfect texture and just a touch of sweetness- enough honey to taste, but not to throw anything off balance. Sadly, it seems they no longer make my beloved sweet, smoky, perfectly spicy hot sauce- but I feel I've gotten closure Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, and hope to return to Bozeman and Jam someday soon! read more

Great ambience! Great service! Great presentation! But the food is as bland I've ever tasted. No flavor in any dish my wife and I ordered. Maybe we're the weird ones for thinking you should add seasonings. At least some salt. The biscuits were powdery, the chicken was overcooked to the point of rubber, and the hash browns were undercooked mush. No seasonings used. read more

First time dining at Jam. The restaurant was packed. We were there on Sunday for brunch and waited approximately 45 - 50 minutes for four people to be seated. Our server was friendly. The food was delicious. Eggs Benedict's were cooked perfectly and the English muffins were some of the best we have tasted. Potatoes crispy and seasoned perfectly. Bacon nice and crisp. I have a couple of negatives. Two of our dishes were brought out 10 minutes after the first two dishes. I realize it is a busy restaurant but food should all be brought out at the same time or within a minute or two so the other dishes do not get cold. It's easy to see why Jam! is a Bozeman favorite: great service; extensive tasty menu; delicious food and reasonable prices. We were greeted for breakfast with friendly smiles and quickly served coffee and water. It was hard to decide between the many creative dishes, but opted for the Basic Benedict with a wonderful medley of sweet and russet potatoes and a salad of arugula. Outstanding! Great restaurant! We went on a Saturday morning (around brunch time) and it was packed! Lots of energy around but it didn't feel chaotic at all. The wait time was about 45min to an hour, but totally worth it. The place itself was very cute and has a very cool mural that definitely draws you in and adds to the overall aesthetics of the place. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food also came out faster than I could have imagined and tasted great. We ordered three different plates, plus the drinks, and came out to about $60, which we thought was phenomenal! We first heard about this restaurant while waiting for a table at another local breakfast restaurant in town - the man said this place was "too bougie". If you have been to a Snooze AM eatery, Jam reminds me of it (I love Snooze!). On a Sunday morning, we were seated right away - it was also the first heavy snow of the year so I think helped a bit. Same thing on Monday morning, we were seated right away. We actually came here twice for breakfast in our three days in town! The first time we got the Breakfast Board and 1/2 Mia Benedict. The second time we got the Biscuit Sandwich and Traditional Breakfast. Jam has a variety of breakfast foods that you cannot go wrong with. I loved the Breakfast board - the bacon was thick but not too fatty or greasy. I've never seen hard-poached eggs and was a big fan - I usually prefer to avoid my eggs too runny. The honey butter was AMAZING! It was love at first bite when I spread the butter on the toast. I tried all the condiments on the toast but was eager to return to the butter. The 1/2 size is a great option for the benedict as sometimes 2 benedicts are too much. I wish the biscuit sandwich was a little moister but overall it was a good sandwich. Came in on a Monday and there was no wait. Jam is a hip breakfast spot with a very clean modern look and their menu has a good mix of classics and fun things to try. I got the AM Aussie and subbed a biscuit for my toast. It was perfect-arugula bed of greens, pesto, 2 poached eggs, avocado, and a nice big biscuit. Get some huckleberry jam on the side- it is absolutely delicious! Overall, solid breakfast/brunch spot in Bozeman but if there is a long wait I would try somewhere else. read more

We had amazing food at Jam! There were 4 of us and there was a little wait on a Wednesday morning at the end of July. The menu is pretty large and everything looked fantastic. We had the loaded hash browns, stuffed French toast, beet & root hash, and the traditional breakfast. The only complaint that I have is that the traditional breakfast didn't come out with the rest of the food...it was about 10 minutes later and then had to be sent back because the scrambled eggs weren't done. Yeah they do deserve another 5 star review. Really one of the best breakfast "spots" I've ever been to. Creative takes on virtually every dish on the menu. How does one do that? All made from scratch even the English muffins, toast and of course their amazing "jams". Fantastic service all around. Fast food to table considering it was packed on a saturday at noon. Kudos for a very efficient staff and for sure do add your name to the wait list by calling before you get there to reduce your wait time. But worth every minute of the wait. Everything we ate was just "amazing". Benedicts was spot on and the wife who is fussy hollandaise eater gave it all two thumbs way up... Ham and cheese omelet with grilled ham and topped with their excellent hollandaise was the icing on the cake so to speak. ,hash browns fresh and crispy and home fries also a winner., jam crepe ( really a desert thing but awesome), cinnamon roll - no icing but the buttery Carmel sauce let it shine ohh so good and even the fresh orange juice was sweet (many places are rindy and bitter). And they even make their own ketchup. Talk about keeping the kitchen cranking! And while not the heinz thing, it was really good and elevated it all as you gotta have ketchup on your potatoes!. Two things I would love to see them do. While your house made country bread is great it is still a white bread kind of thing. Your fantastic house made jams cry out for a great whole grain ( healthier) style bread/toast with a nice dense crust as an option. Do your jam a favor. Stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was a wait which we expected. The biggest issue we had was that once our table was ready, they also had several other parties tables ready and the waiting area was a bit tight. There was not enough staff to sit all of us quickly and it would be better if they just called no more than two parties at a time and then seat them and call the next on the list. Other than that, the service was great and food was delicious. The Huevos rancheros were full of flavor and very filling. A must try. AM Aussie was also very good and light. The Michelada was missing some flavor. Some Worcestershire and spice would have made a difference. The G funk drink was also just ok. The Jam crepe was good but a bit too sweet for me. My companion and I were looking for a good breakfast in Bozeman on a chilly March morning. Jam! was just up the street so we walked over. There was a bit of a weight as we arrived slightly after 9 PM. The hostess advised us there would be a 10 minute wait and we sat inside. The hostess was correct and we were immediately seated. The waitress approached us quickly and asked if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered a double espresso and my companion ordered a latte. The coffee drinks arrived fairly fast and we ordered breakfast. I ordered the crabcake eggs Benedict while my companion ordered the vegetable omelette. Interestingly, the menu indicates that you can mix and match your eggs Benedict. The restaurant was full, but not overly crowded. The service was incredibly fast and our food arrived within minutes of our order. The hashbrowns were crispy and the eggs Benedict was delicious. My companions omelette was light and fluffy and full of vegetables. The huckleberry jam accompaniment was tart and flavorful. We were in very impressed with the food, the staff, and the restaurant itself. This restaurant definitely deserves your business. read more

Hey! Zach, our server was amazing! So friendly! We loved the breakfast. Great eggs made soft, the hash browns were awesome. The bacon was cut thick and the gluten free bread actually tasted good! I had it with huckleberry jam and butter. The atmosphere is super nice. Cute middle seating area. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Just one point for those going. Jam cost extra. We each asked for huckleberry jam with our breakfast (yum!) but we're charged $2 each for a little side. We should have shared. It was more than enough for two people. I was recommended this place by my barber in Billings. My girlfriend and I already knew we wanted to make a whole day trip to Bozeman. We decided to start here. Upon entering, you immediately notice that it's a clean, friendly, and nicely decorated environment. We were told a ten minute wait and that was pretty accurate. We were seated and greeted by our waitress very soon afterward. I ordered the loaded hash browns and the Go Funk. The Go Funk tastes like a moderately sour gummy worm. As in, this drink was absolutely delicious. I did have to stir it when it got to the table, but man it was worth it. The hash browns I ordered without eggs. The waitress listed off substitution options. This dish was absolutely delicious and the leftovers the next day were just as good. 10/10 recommend. I also got the toast with the huckleberry jam. The toast was quite crunchy, just not my preference. The huckleberry jam was also delicious. Despite probably having to repeat these options 100 times a day, she was very friendly when repeating them for me. * The loaded hash browns don't look like a lot of food, but this was enough to feed me two days of breakfast. My girlfriend ordered a drink that I forgot the name of and the huevos rancheros, but I know she absolutely loved both of them. We both agreed that this is one of the best breakfast spots we've ever been to. We have traveled back and forth across the country. Super long wait on a Sunday around noon but it was just me so I got to sit at the bar without wait. The omelette was huge and they got my order wrong the first time but fixed it within 10 mins. The eggs Benedict order from the patron next to me looked amazing as well. The matcha latte was good but very very pricey. They have a longer than average selection of coffee and teas for a brunch place and coconut milk, almond milk and oat milk as alternative milks. I am a pretty big eater but I only finished half of my omelette and ate it a few hours later. Overall I think I would come back to this place often if I were to frequent Bozeman. read more
