Happy vibe, lots of positive energy on the staff team, unlike any of your normal chain experiences. Menu was broad and clearly steps ahead of more common options. If you're looking for a breakfast that you'll remember then this is the place.

What an amazing and delicious treat! Faye welcomed us into her precious eatery and allowed us to create our own breakfasts. Faye didn't miss her calling....she embraced it!

Are you kidding?! This is the most unique, friendly, delicious....OMG place in the universe to have breakfast. The creativity starts with the staff. They are beautiful in spirit and image. The menu is next level. What you eat is designed by the words you chose on the menu. Huckleberry love with a side of meaty happiness... for instance. I wish this was more than a stopover for us. Faye's is THE BEST place I've ever eaten.

It was the type of meal that makes you scrape every last morsel off your plate because every bite is fantastic! I loved all the art and the ambience is so cute! The staff was friendly and helpful! I'd highly recommend!

Super cute little food spot set in an old school. Kitchy cool, eclectic esthetic with local art surrounding the room. Friendly faces and a vibe that feels like grandmas kitchen on Sunday. The food is amazing and freshly prepared with local ingredients. The hook, the cherry on top, is the menu! There is a typical list of standard dishes and even a few of the locals' favorites, but the other side is the secret sauce. It's a picture of a sunrise. The horizon below is peppered with words referring to tastes and feelings. You select from these words, and your dish is created. I selected sweet, savory, meaty, and spicy. The chef then creates a scramble to fit your selection. Voilà! FAYES CHOICE! A definitive must if in the Livingston area. Seating is limited, but the staff is super accommodating.

Old schoolhouse charm, windows and high ceilings.

There are cool things in Montana, Faye's one of them. We were departing the Yellowstone area headed to Bozeman and wanted a good breakfast enroute. I found this on "the Google". We journeyed into Livingston, which from my estimations was a train town of the old west. Faye's is located in an old school now repurposed. Right off, a very different way to order. Not your usual menu, but much like being a gringo looking at a hispanic menu of 2 hundred choices you can't pronounce, pictures make a world of difference. Our server was good at explaining the concept. The wall decorations are very artsy. Lots of color and happy vibes. The kitchen is open and small. The check-out is right there too. The whole operation is cool and efficient. I ordered an omelet that was enchilada-like. Multiple meats and cheese, with hash brown potatoes. I held the rice and beans part watching carbs as best as I can muster on vacation, but you bend in places. I used the huckleberry hot sauce. Wow that was good. Never had huckleberry until this trip to mountain country. Dig it. My partner ordered a cinnamon roll, then the ham and hash browns with toast. The cinnamon roll was bonkers. Suggestion - make them bigger! Flaky and tender, with a decadent icing. I had one small bite, but it was fantastic and the other side of the table concurred. Now, this is not inexpensive fare, but the quality of product was top notch. The folks working are serious about quality. Modern vibe, in a very nicely redone old school. Easy parking, easy in and out. This was a a great travel breakfast.

Faye, thank you for taking time with us. Amazing food

Fays is a lovely little resturant in the Montana town of Livingston. Now if you want to go to flavortown and I mean right down there on main street Flavortown, then go check out Faye's. She is just as sweet as her cinnamon rolls. Which, by the way are absolutely fabulous. They are about half the size of most restaurants, which is fine with me as I love me some cinnamon rolls just not that big. Perfect size Faye. I ordered the or huevos rancheros and man what an awesome breakfast. Not exactly like your typical huevos rancheros, but i honestly have to rank them in the top three I've ever had. Three eggs, sausage, cheese, greens, with tabouli (sure i missed a couple things lol). When blended together, oh man it was an explosion of flavor. The coffee was most excellent Garth. Had 3 cups. I'm running the streets of Livingston as I type. Oh man what a great breakfast spot. Faye sells her own personal cookbook for $50 which we were excited to buy plus having Faye sign for us was a treat. Faye has been a chief her entire life. She tweeks old family recipes used by her grandmother as well as new creations. You know when grandma's recipes are involved, it's going to be good. Shes cooked privately for some of most prominent citizens in Big Sky as well as The Yellowstone Club, so the girl knows how to prepare a flavourful dish. I know I'll be back. Thanks Faye it was a treat.

    Cool little find!

Whenever I drive the I-90 corridor through Montana I time my travel so to be able to eat breakfast at Faye's. I've been doing this for years. This morning I started driving at 5 a.m. in order to get there before it closed. And my reward is the amazing fresh food, the comfortable atmosphere, and the friendliness of every one who works there. And the owner is a brilliant chef who you can tell loves every minute of making the delicious food she serves. This is one of those rare gems in our country.

sorry yelp, it's hard to say what exactly is in this photo because i'm not sure. all i know is it was life changing. Eggs....and more.

They offer specials, a great menu (with hilarious descriptions!), baked goods and coffee. The special of the day was eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes and they happily removed the meat for me. The Benedict was perfect from the ooze of the egg, the flavor and amount of hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were also perfect and I loved the potion size. Of note, the ketchup did not have high fructose corn syrup which I really appreciated and it tasted so much better! The man working at the front was SO friendly and kind and the chef even came to check on us to see how our meal was. Such amazing service! The ambiance is also 5 stars. It's an adorable spot with cozy seating, lamps on the table and homey decorations. This is a must try in Livingston!

Since we couldn't guarantee our flight into BZN would arrive on time and we'd make it to a reservation, we called in advanced and were told that seats *could* be available at the bar. Recommendation: BOOK your reservation in advance and DO all that you can to make it. We arrived and were on the waitlist til a reservation holder called to cancel. We won a culinary lottery that evening -- and saw a rainbow during our after dinner stroll. The menu is Roman and a diamond in the rough. Don't confuse this cuisine with Italian. Before this trip, we eagerly anticipated the freshly caught trout. My husband was thankful for his Campione experience before ordering it from other restaurants on our trip. The pan-seared fish was richly paired with capers and parsley, funghi, leeks, and pickled fennel greens. (I almost ordered it but like a good Roman soldier, I divided to conquer the menu.) The manicotti was far from conventional. The flavorful, delicate oxtail and broth were unlike any heavy tomato-based sauce. This was simply stellar, and an ideal way to warm my belly on a rainy day. While Campione does not readily serve a chef tasting menu, each dish fully engages the senses. Rarely do I take photos when dining out; this dinner was an exception. Plating is colorful and the layers are visually engaging... but delay the gratification of the first bite especially if you order the smoked cauliflower: waft first. Hospitality by the hosts and server were top-notch, complementing the caliber of the food and living up to the motto embedded in the tiled entry: in the service of others.

Today I got a specialty coffee for the first time and it was truly the best I've ever had. I had the chai charger (dirty chai) with oat milk and it was the BEST dirty chai latte that I've had in the state of Montana.
