This place has the best Huevos Rancheros in Bozeman, and a super nice patio. So nice not having to wait all the time like Main Street!

The restaurant is clean with plenty of tables and room to sit comfortably. We walked in and were seated promptly, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh hot coffee and our breakfast was delicious with plenty to share. To top off our dining visit it was snowing and just added magic to our experience here at Jam! Several tables, elevated booths and an elaborate bar setup with a warm and very hustling staff. Hospitality is off-the-chart here and the Main St location is straight out of a cool mountain town set. We ordered the avocado toast and a simple plate of biscuits / sausage gravy. The avacado toast was stacked tall with guacamole, bacon, roasted grape tomatoes and an over easy egg. This was good but trying to eat it was a challenge due to size and ingredients. There was a small side green salad. The biscuit and sausage gravy was also stacked. You definitely get good value here as is evident with the families surrounding us. The gravy was almost overflowing the plate with a good uncious taste. The biscuit was dense, a bit dry and was just ok. The gravy was a home run. Jam is a great family breakfast option with the food almost over-flowing the plates. We ordered basic dishes from the appetizer menu and enjoyed them but not overwhelmed with taste. Even though I found it good, not great, I would encourage you to come here with a hearty appetite, and give them a try. NO ONE here is eating with a frown on their face and joint is jumping. JAM, I'll see you again on my next trip to a picturesque town on Bozeman, MT.

We stopped in after noticing breakfast burritos on the menu, and initially, the experience was off to a great start. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated quickly and our drink order was taken right away. Unfortunately, things became less positive as our visit continued. While the menu only listed one burrito, we were told customization was an option, which we appreciated. However, despite arriving before several other groups, those parties were able to place their orders and receive their food before our server returned to take ours. When we were finally able to order, one member of our group selected the special, only to be told it was no longer available. After quickly choosing an alternative, the response from our server felt somewhat rushed and less than welcoming. Two of us ordered customized burritos, but neither came out as requested, despite an additional charge for the modifications. When we were asked how the food was and began to explain the issue, our comments were unfortunately cut short when the server walked away. While the food itself was decent, it was disappointing not to receive what we had ordered. Service remained inconsistent throughout the rest of the meal. Two of us had specialty lattes, and one had drip coffee. When her cup was placed at the end of the table for a refill, it went unnoticed, even as we observed refills being offered to other tables. At the end of our visit, we were not brought our bill and instead went to the counter to settle it. The checkout interaction felt brief and impersonal, without any inquiry about our experience. After leaving, I noticed a $2 "non-cash adjustment" fee on the receipt, despite having paid with a debit card, which the receipt indicated should not incur that charge. We truly wanted to enjoy our visit and support a local establishment, as there were several positive aspects at the start and the food itself showed promise. However, the service challenges, order inaccuracies, and billing concern left us disappointed. We hope this feedback is helpful, as with some improvements, the overall experience could better reflect the strong first impression we had upon arriving.

It's tucked away downtown right next to treeline coffee which is convenient if you want to pair your croissant with a specialty coffee. They offer bread, sandwiches and a huge variety of baked goods and other deserts that all looked amazing. They even offer a vegan desert! I tried the cinnamon bun and at first I was disappointed that it didn't come with frosting, but once I tasted it, all disappointment went out the window. It was unbelievably flakey, soft and flavorful. It was dusted with sugar, bursting with cinnamon and indulgent. It was easily one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had and now I know why Wild Crumb is so popular!

We only ended up getting three items: their celebrated huckleberry scone, a cinnamon roll, and an almond croissant. We really liked the scone, but that's probably more because we're big fans of huckleberries than anything about it being outstanding. The almond croissant was good, as was the roll, but they were both beyond flaky--too flaky--and crumbs and powdered sugar were flying everywhere. In hindsight, we wish we had gotten a savory item to round things out because, overall, nothing was bad but nothing was capital-G Great. The staff are super friendly and helpful, but there was no one bussing or cleaning tables, so everything was pretty unkempt. We think it's 3.5 stars, but we're rounding up because we really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place and can see ourselves coming back on future visits.
