I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Greycliff Family for making my family's celebration of my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary an exceptional and unforgettable evening. From the outset, Elisha made coordinating every detail a breeze, showing incredible accommodation. Daniel was an invaluable support throughout the festivities, acting as my right-hand man. The servers' graciousness added a special touch to our evening, ensuring everything went smoothly. The facility itself was beautifully presented, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. And, of course, the meal was nothing short of superb, delighting everyone in attendance. I am truly thankful to each and every one of you for your part in making the evening so special. Tammy Becker

On a trip to visit my family we made dinner reservations here for one of their steak dinners. It was an absolutely gorgeous site, with the sun setting over the mountain, and the open space of the grounds. You could walk the garden area, see the ponds and mill, and walk through the greenhouse and cheese cave. It was incredibly beautiful and serene. Inside was a cute cabin interior, and they had tables set up all over for the dinner. It was a curated dinner, with a paired drink and planned courses, all of which were hearty and delicious. They did not sell alcohol on site, but it appeared many tables brought their own bottle in for dinner. It was a really cool spot out of nowhere, and I'm glad my family introduced me to it or I would never have found it!

What a fun, but unexpected place. At a part of the interstate between Bozeman and Billings where you wouldn't expect to see much, there's Greycliff Mill. It's not particularly easy to get to although it is visible from the interstate. Depending on the direction you're traveling, it's an interesting path to get there past some pastures on one side of the interstate or open fields on the other. Just when I thought I was going the wrong direction, the turn taking me back under the overpass and onto a gravel road led me to this fascinating building that looked like an ordinary business with a mill in the back. I didn't think it was open, until I saw that wonderful back deck next to the mill and some people wandering around taking pictures. The last place I expected to see a grist mill was here. The second to last think I expected was a cute bakery/deli. There's been a mix of stories about this place: one that it is a converted barn from NY and another that it was an abandoned grist mill from somewhere in South Carolina, shipped to and rebuilt in Montana. Either story works. When you're done with your coffee, bagel, or other treat, in this breakfast and lunch spot, you can walk around and watch the water moving along its path and eventually turning the grist mill wheel. The kids all seemed to have fun tracing the water's path. Inside, available for guest exploration, are pictures, handmade craft items, a spinning wheel and some plaques with stories that often give some historical insight into what you see. Greycliff Mill also offers farm-to-table dinner with a prior reservation. If the bagel was any indication of what might be in store at one of those dinners, then it's a must-do event. Souveniers? They've got it, both inside the store/cafe and available online.

The Ambiance is wonderful. It's so pretty in here and the surrounding area as well. They have a cheese market, greenhouse and leather shop! The food was so delicious. It took a while but it was SUPER yummy. The owner was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The service staff could improve, they aren't very friendly but I would come back.

    Purchased these for our daughter.

We stopped here and grabbed and sandwich while we were driving from Billings to Manhattan, just to check it out. Beautiful place. Employees were super nice and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was beautiful. Food was great! Many of the the goods they sold were special/unique made locally or in Montana (I believe.....). We got our daughter a few things. We will definitely stop through again!

Wow. The baked goods here are freshly made using the flour ground from the gristmill that this family found in South Carolina and brought to Montana in 2020. They have strong coffee and other treats. My sons both had the fresh peach milkshake that was out of this world. The bagels we had were just tender and slightly chewy, baked fresh using the flour ground from the gristmill. The atmosphere is first rate--it's a beautifully built structure using antique heavy timber augmented with steel and glass. There are breathtaking views out the floor to ceiling windows of the cliffs that give the town its name. The grounds are beautiful with the newly built pond and deck with the water flowing through the series of little wood troughs to feed the water wheel that runs the gristmill. They also offer farm to table dinners. Next time we are in town, we will definitely book reservations for that experience. Lots of handcrafted kitchen utensils and gifts to take home in their shop inside of the mill.

This spot was an amazing find. In search of a quick bite, we stopped in here and enjoyed our food while taking in the great view and sunlight that filled the restaurant. There are two levels for dining, beautifully decorated and very cozy. There's a gift shop area across from where you order that offers some really cute and unique items. I ordered the chai tea latte and avocado toast, which I asked them to top with tomatoes and red onion. They were happy to do so, and it tasted amazing. Everything was incredibly fresh. If you are passing through Greycliff, I highly recommend stopping here.

Super cute and refreshing stop right off the freeway if you're driving through Montana. The craftsmanship of the building was beautiful! It was cool to hear about and see the plans they have to expand the property. They had a simple menu of basic coffee items to flavored speciality lattes. There were a few food options as well - yummy pastries, wraps, salads, and some refrigerated items. In the "gift shop" portion, there were tons of local goods that would make for great gifts like soaps, candles, towels, mugs, stickers, etc. Definitely a great spot to check out as you drive through MT!
