Amazing restaurant. This place is a hidden gem, well not really hidden but a local spot. The food is stellar. Service is great. The area is small so get there early or get a reservation if you can, this place is worth it. The kale salad is great. The pizza is top tier. The beer and wine menu is one of the best in the area. I will be coming back when I'm in the area next time.

Flavor everywhere Options abound Serving team cares I got here ten minutes before close and was welcomed like the first patron in that afternoon. I got a wonderful table near the right side bar, and then was welcomed again by a fantastic server who knew his stuff inside and out. I elected to go with a glass of wine that suited my needs, along with the white beans and a pasta dish. They were delicious, and I augmented those with a cappuccino. All the while, pleasing tunes were playing, the clientele was enjoying themselves, and I felt like I was ready for a bit more. As entirely delicious as everything was, I did have a bit of room left. Thus, I went with a dessert wine and the affogato, and let me tell you, I have zero regrets. I know it's only one visit, but I'm thrilled with the spot, and recommend it highly. It'll be on my list to return when next I return to Bozeman, hands-down. Highly recommended.

Walked in without a reservation and we were seated at the bar. We got the pizza we ordered after waiting for over 40 minutes. Unfortunately the diavola pizza was not worth the wait. The crust was thin and soggy, and only the edges were cooked well. The pizza was blah, the flavors were nothing to rave about. Maybe a different pizza would've been better. We also got the oyster mushrooms with mole blanco and those were tasty. The service was just ok.

Blackbird is hands down one of the best dinner spots I've ever been to and easily the best Italian I've had. Every dish was AMAZING. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Something else I looooove about this place is they don't use seed oils, and you can taste the difference. The flavors are clean, fresh, and seriously amazing. If you're in Bozeman, you have to eat here. Either make a reservation or get there right when they open and grab a seat at the bar. Trust me, it's worth it.

Made reservations for this restaurant that I found from TikTok. Glad I did because people were waiting for a table outside. They honored my reservation and sat us right away. There is no liquor only wine and beer. Place was a dark open kitchen , cool vibe that is located right on the strip. They were out of 2 pastas. (I wasn't happy about that) The menu is very small but the food is good. I recommend the diavolo pizza

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The food is outstanding. Every single dish - pizza, pasta, salad, dessert - was a hit. No misses. Excellent service, fabulous design, friendly staff. Easy 5.

This place is popular, but I'm grateful they were able to accommodate my husband and myself as walk-ins on a Monday night in the summer. I'd recommend making a reservation if you have a bigger party. They only serve beer/wine and didn't sell liquor- which I'm learning is common in Montana. Stracciatella was incredible, tomatoes were sweet and perfectly ripe. Chimmichurri skewers were a little tougher than I was expecting but had great flavor. And their ragu pasta was meaty, while the noodle shape did a great job capturing all the flavor of the sauce.

Blackbird Kitchen is a must if you're in Bozeman. Every dish we tried was amazing and it quickly became our favorite spot in town. Great food, hip vibes, and super friendly service. There might be a line but the food is 100% worth the wait. Service 10/10 - even on a busy summer night! Seating 10/10 (bar, no reservation) Food 10/10 everything was so flavorful! Drinks 10/10 local beers on point

This was a lovely place for dinner. The lighting was ideal for quiet conversation. The dishes we had were delicious.

We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.

I love a good cocktail and the restaurant we had eaten at before coming here had none so we knew we had to have "dessert" here. We came in to a sign that said seat yourself. We did, at a cozy little spot near the front door. The table has real candlelight, all of the tables do, so there's this beautiful ambiance of dancing light that envelopes this larger than it looks from the outside wine bar. Just a few seconds after sitting, someone was at our table with waters and the menu. Talk about fast and efficient service. When our actual server arrived, she was super friendly and hospitable. She made it feel like we were regulars and I loved that. And the cocktails? Superb. Absolutely incredible, every single one of them. And that coconut lime rickey? I understand why people rave about it. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. I also want to point out how quick the cocktails came out to us. I was so surprised we didn't have to wait long at all, even though this place was pretty full and they were pretty busy at the bar.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite of what I expected. We were seated quickly on a Monday evening, and our server let us know she was new, which we completely understood since we both work in the service industry. Ordering was simple--my friend mentioned an apple allergy, and we each made straightforward requests. There was a slightly odd moment where the server said she couldn't ring in my friend's order a certain way because the kitchen would "make fun of her," but we brushed it off. Things really went downhill when the food arrived. Both meals were completely wrong. When the food was dropped off (by someone other than our server), there was a snarky comment referencing the apple allergy, which was uncomfortable. We sent the food back, expecting a quick fix--but it came out wrong again. And then a third time. At that point, we were honestly shocked. I've never had an order come out incorrectly three times in a row. Eventually, a manager brought the food out correctly, but there was no real apology for the repeated mistakes. Our server explained it was the kitchen's fault, but it was frustrating that no one double-checked the orders before bringing them out each time. The whole experience ended up taking over two hours, which felt excessive given how simple the order was. We also felt that, given the circumstances, some kind of comp or acknowledgment would have been appropriate, but nothing was offered. Overall, it was a really disappointing and honestly embarrassing experience--especially after talking the place up so much beforehand.

We dipped the seafood from our entrees into the leftover broth for the acidity and flavor! Stuffed Portabello Mushroom - 10/10 there were so many ingredients in this dish it was almost comical but it all worked together very well! Portobello mushroom stuffed with ricotta(?), blue cheese, lump crab meat, topped with chives and lemon zest, with pesto and balsamic vinegar sauces LOL. So much going on but very good. Bacon was a bit salty in this ensemble though. Fettuccine a la Verona - 10/10 light and fettuccine is in a fresh seafood broth. Plump springy prawns with burrata and has a good ratio of vegetables (artichoke, spinach, lions mane mushroom) Wild Alaskan Salmon Penne - 9/10 very indulgent with bacon, pesto, caramelized onions and lions mane mushroom under melted cheese. Salmon was fresh but felt under-seasoned on its own. I loved the mushrooms but I didn't love the dry/hard melted cheese on top. Chicken Parmigiana - 8/10 tomato sauce is very fragrant. A bit bland otherwise. All entrees came with a soft crumbly bread that I only enjoyed with the mussels broth. Lovely server and restaurant! Charming location. Big portions, we took leftovers.

To start, we had the daily ceviche, which was a salmon ceviche with a bright citrus marinade, garnished with oranges and served alongside crispy wonton crackers. Served with grilled bread, it was the kind of dish you keep dipping back into because it's just that good. For our main dish, we shared the Brown Butter Scallops -- prosecco salt dusted scallops served with arugula pesto, herb mushrooms, and bacon & butternut squash arancini. The scallops themselves were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the real standout on the plate was the arancini. Crispy on the outside with a rich, savory filling of bacon and butternut squash, it paired beautifully with the rest of the dish and completely stole the show. The entire meal was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared. The only small note is that the restaurant can get a bit loud when it's full, which can make conversation with your dinner companion slightly harder. That said, the lively atmosphere shouldn't stop you from enjoying a meal here. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience.
