BBQ Cheddar Burger (single patty) with Shoestring Fries
    Richard Walton C.

This is my second time at a Jaggers and at a second different location. I think the indoor dining area here is much larger here than the new Avon location. There was plenty of empty tables available at the lunch hour on this Thursday. Service was fast! As soon as I sat down with my table number the food arrived within one minute. This time I was aware all of their burgers are doubles so I ordered a single BBQ Cheddar Burger. Please be aware that the pickles are the Bread & Butter variety and not the usual hamburger dill type. I like their barbecue burger. It needs onions though. I ordered fries this time instead of the tots. The fries are the shoestring type but have other "stuff" added to them. They're okay but I'll go back to tots next time. I don't know why places have to add things to fries; they are better when plain in my opinion. The restroom was clean. There were no issues with parking.

Jaggers is fine if you're looking for a mid burger and mid salad. I am just trying Jaggers for the first time. I had heard people talk about them in the past and heard good things so I had ...hopes. Not high hopes, just something that would be better than a Steak N Shake. The service we received at this location was great. The food was meh. Hubby and I got salads and then a bacon cheeseburger basket to share. The salads tasted like Wendy's. Which is fine if they had Wendy's prices but these salads were $13. The burgers at Freddy's are better and cheaper. The food was fine but we won't be coming back.

Jaggers is one of those places that we would drive by and just never seemed to stop. We finally decided to finally check it out. From a price point perspective, it's in between a sit down burger place and fast food. It's similar to Culver's in that you order at the counter and then they bring the food to the table. We ordered a cheeseburger, sunrise burger (fried egg on top), tots to share, and side salads. Their burgers are 2 thinner burgers (but not smash burgers), which was nice. I'm not a fan of a lot of pink in my burger (food safety!) so the thinner patties were great. Hubby said the sunrise burger was fine. The balance of ham, egg, and burger was a little off. Tots were crispy and hot. We were pleasantly surprised by the side salads. So many are just iceberg and croutons, but these had spring mix and they were inexpensive for side salads. Overall it was good. It was a 3 1/2, so I rounded up. :)

Met up with a friend for dinner. He got the classic chicken sandwich and I got the California grilled chicken sandwich. I asked for the crispy chicken instead and there was no upcharge. Our food was good and we also tried the Jaggers sauce which has a BBQ flavor which was nice. Overall decent food though I'm not a fan of shoestring fries. The sandwich I got is definitely filling with the bacon and avocado on it. I will say the young lady who was at the register was not very friendly. She stood and stared at us when she was free instead of asking us to step forward. After out meal, we got milkshakes and had the same young lady and my friend remarked on her rudeness.

I went during the after church afternoon rush on a Sunday and was hit with a very long drive thru so I decided to go in. Great decision, line was moving quickly, food came out fairly fast, and service was great. Got the chicken tender meal and decided to double with a bacon cheeseburger with the famous jagger sauce, it was great.

This is one of my favorite places. I don't come here often cuz it's kind of expensive. Are two burgers and one order of tater tots was $17. All burgers are doubles. They ground their meat fresh daily. I don't know what they put on this meat but, it is so good!!! This is the first time for the green chile burger. The hubby says that it's slippery. It's good though. The tots are not very crispy today. I like their fries too. They are shoestring and season. However, I'm always a sucker for tater tots.

Went to Jaggers after a late night shopping in Greenwood . The atmosphere was amazing everyone was very nice and friendly . The menu was very affordable . My husband fed our family of 4 for less the 30 bucks . I got a crispy chicken sandwich that's was verity tasty . The kids both got grilled cheese fries and they came with 2 little mini cookies for the children that they of course loved . REALLY impressed with jaggers glad we are getting one in Avon soon so I don't have to travel to Greenwood.

I did not find Jaggers to be worth the price. I think the food is overpriced for a QSR and I don't really care it's location either.

The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was such a fantastic lunch and overall experience. We loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back!

There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. I got a mocktail to start that was cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice. It was pretty yummy. I was far more impressed by the foooood! My partner and I split a burger and Mac and cheese. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!

Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

It's a Friday night and their advertised hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 am until 9 pm with Friday and Saturday closing at 10 pm. We decided to go at 9 fully expecting the dining room to be open since the hours are clearly posted and we arrived an hour before closing. To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.
