Little Cheeseburger
Christina B.

My brother is a big fan of Five Guys. We were shopping nearby and I let him pick our lunch spot so he picked Five Guys. I've had it before but it's been several years. I'm not a big burger fan overall but I love how much you can customize your order. I especially love how they have fresh jalapeños as a topping. I was surprised at how good the fries were. They were crispy on the outside and very potato-y on the inside. You can see and tell that they make everything fresh. The staff were friendly and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our order. The only thing I didn't like was how they bag your order. I know it's their schtick to dump fries all over everything but I wasn't a fan of digging through a pile of fries to get my burger.

Free peanuts! Stay away if you have a peanut allergy!

Busy fast food burger joint. Walk in from lots of parking options in a strip mall. A little loud with workers shouting orders to each other, it only adds to the experience! I opted for a low carb option today and went bunless. They are happy to accommodate and you can opt for a bowl or a lettuce wrap. Great option for the keto followers, low carb crew, or diabetics. They have the coke freestyle machines, so lots of drink options! More importantly, lots of sugar free or diet drink options. They are also known for having peanuts out to grab. Keep this in mind for the peanut allergies!

Our cashier was pleasant and correctly took our order. Friday wait time during peak hours can be over 20 minutes but don't worry: they have peanuts to snack on while you wait! The fries (which are always my favorite thing from this chain) here tasted a tad different than from other Five Guys. Not sure if it was an off batch but I'll have to try it out again to see! My burger was fresh and exactly how I wanted it.

Got there 40 mins before they closed the dude ringing me up, an cook were still in good mood an very personable made me feel glad I stopped in there for late night bite....

Cheeseburger with everything add jalapenos! Super good!

This is a great, clean Five Guys with exactly what you would expect. Free peanuts in the shell, awesome hamburgers (their normal size is a double) with fresh ingredients, and those overcooked "carny" fries that people seem to like for some reason. I can do without the fries, but I'm sure lots of people love 'em. They're served piled high in a greasy paper bag, which is awesome. One tip, if you like spicy foods, get the JALAPENOS on your burger...they're sliced fresh, not pickled, and they add a lot of excellent heat. Overall, probably the best fast food burger around. It beats all the others I've had, including Wendy's, In N Out, Whataburger, you name it. Great job Five Guys...whoever you are.

I came here on a whim and I'm glad I did!…read more Kuma's corner kind of feels like a rock concert venue turned restaurant on the inside, with lots of memorabilia in there. There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. I got a mocktail to start that was cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice. It was pretty yummy. I was far more impressed by the foooood! My partner and I split a burger and Mac and cheese. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!

My husband wanted a good burger but because I'm vegan, it needed to be a place with an option for…read moreme. After researching, I found Kuma's Corner. They have a vegan option. Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

My son turned 17 and decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday at this award winning local burger…read morespot with his sister and I. It's a Friday night and their advertised hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 am until 9 pm with Friday and Saturday closing at 10 pm. We decided to go at 9 fully expecting the dining room to be open since the hours are clearly posted and we arrived an hour before closing. To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.

Nothing aesthetically has changed in the decorations, it is still so cute and so pink in there. The food on the other hand was 100% better. I am a snob for a burger so when I saw their options I decided to go simple to really get a taste of the burger. I was so impressed with the flavor and the quality. A lot of burgers don't have much flavor but this make your own double patty burger with cheese was overflowing with flavor. After visiting at the end of January and ordered takeout in early February and was still so blown away at the quality and the care that was put in to even a take out order. The fries were phenomenal as well. They are pretty close to being shoelace fries and with the bowl you get two signature sauces of your choosing. I can't remember what sauces we had but they were delicious. I will definitely be back and probably will have to have a shake next time.

We opted for Mac and cheese with the kids meal for an extra $2 - it was creamy and a nice portion for that price point. For entrees, we ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, it was $14 and pretty decent size, but didn't come with any side or chips. We also ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich; it was mostly bread, a thick potato bun. Also came with no side so we added a bowl of fries to share. They were crispy and salty, basic shoestring cut. Everything was fine, nothing stand out. Restaurant was really cute and trendy. We got my son a $3.50 chocolate chip cookie before we left, he really enjoyed that. $54 plus tip for a cookie, 2 sodas, fries, wrap, sandwich, and kids meal. Not terrible!
