This place doesn't miss. When I do want fast food I'll gladly stop by here as the burgers are really good and the Diet Root Beer is amazing.

The ice cream or custard is the only thing I believe is worth going for. We have attpted theor fish platters it was to expensive for quality we received. Plus the price of their platters (fast food) are almost the same price (give or take a dollar and some change) as a sit down with wait staff, with actual silverware, cups and plates. Just depends what you want and what you're ok spending your money on. My personal opinion is that you can find better quality vs their prices elsewhere. read more

Another bad review for this location! The quality/service has severely declined. Recently ordered a curbside pickup. My food ended up sitting on a shelf getting cold. No napkins or the two requested ketchups were in the bag. It was also not during a rush period so there is no excuse because of that. Seems they need some 'take charge' managers. Way to go guys! I can tell this place is transitioning to a hangout for the high school age kids to have a sit down meal. Reminds me of the fast food restaurants in the 50s-80s, where it was more than just a quick food spot; it's a hangout for the youth. Like A&W and old shops like that. It's super busy all the time. And they still do a good job. They have one of the best hamburgers in the game as well. I would put it way above McDonald's and Burger King. I prefer the butter burger. Also, shoutout to a kid named Braedon. I was in there the other day waiting for dinner for my family. I didn't even have to wait that long in my opinion but was admittedly sitting there for a while. Still, some guy saw me pacing around the lobby while they made the food and on his own accord told me I shouldn't have to wait that long, apologized, and gave me a coupon for a free value meal! Culver's is another one of those places that has a super long line! So much so, the one in Greenwood added a second drive through lane. They are one of the only fast food places I've found that serves a breaded pork tenderloin- I think it's pretty good for a chain restaurant and it's always been nice and fresh when I've ordered it. The star of the menu though are those Wisconsin cheese curds. Yum, yum, yum!! I love the seasoning in the breading and they have such a satisfying taste and squeak when you eat them. I would eat them all the time if I could. We've also had very good concretes here as well - I like the custard option and the mix in choices. A solid spot for a quick meal. read more

My wife and I were running late, so we wanted something tasty and not take too long since we wanted to get going and not push our meal into dinner time since we had plans with friends to dine out that evening. I had ice cream on my mind but wanted a hot meal too. Culvers came to mind as a place that could satisfy both needs and it did. We parked in they free lot outside so we could dine in. we were directed to choose our own booth or table and then placed our order a the count where we paid, and fine tuned the accessories to our meals (sides, condiments) and we were given a number for our table. Our food was brought out quickly. Some condiments were self serve as were extra napkins. Dine in was mostly full service, but since you walk by many of the self serve stations, it was easy enough to avail ourselves of those items instead of waiting for the understaffed servers to get back to us. We were able to get our left over food bagged so we could get on the road without much of a wait. Price was a bit higher than the fast food places, but the quality made up for the difference. What wonderful service and food. My brother in law told me that my 10 years in the midwest had been wasted since I had not visited Culver's. So on a trip back this month I stopped by... he was right. Everyone was super friendly, I felt welcomed from the get go (not something to take for granted as I have learned by driving maybe 20 minutes away from downtown portland). The buttered, toasted bun was delicious and overall a great burger. Then I got up and went to order cheese curds because I had forgotten to... the manager refused to take money for it. I was so embarassed because it was my mistake, but the hospitality of this place reminded me of my trip to Japan. Was impressed by how they're handling the Covid precautions on my last dine in trip -- sticky notes for numbers so they're not reusing them, every other table blocked off, staff wearing masks. Worst customer service. There is no ice, tables are filthy. A young lady behind the register had to use the restroom for the last hour and her manager told her she couldn't have any help until I pulled him aside. He then called her out and said "you should have said something". There have been people waiting 30 minutes just to get ice cream. So sad to see this restaurant sink to the level of other mediocre fast foid places. They have finally bottomed out with my family. Thinner burgers, tinier cod filets, raised prices, almost child-size fry servings with baskets. If you have a coupon fir a free 1 scoop serving of custard, you get the kid size. Why fill out their receipt survey fir a kid sized custard? Just lacks the quality Culvers used to have. I imagine management not properly training kids has a lot to do with lower quality. Let me start by saying, I'm a Culver's fan and have eaten there all over the Midwest. This review is only for this location, which is not a banner representation of the franchise. On average, this location has gotten my order right approximately 15% of the time, and they are one of the slowest drive-throughs in the central IN region. On my most recent visit (Th), I ordered a plain hamburger and one signature sauce (among other items for my family). They put ketchup on the burger, which was dry and crispy all the way through, and charged me for 3 signature sauces (according to the receipt) ... and only put one in my bag. No matter how often I've ordered a plain hamburger there, I have never been served a plain hamburger -- with cheese, with mustard, with ketchup -- they can't get it right. I've been upcharged without consent multiple times and couldn't interject when ordering because the order and pricing often doesn't come up on the screen (broken?). Order has often been wrong. Once, I had to wait for a half hour while all the cars in front of and behind me were served. Why? They couldn't find my order ticket number, so when I did get my food, it was cold because it had been prepared 25 minutes prior. I've written to management 2-3 times and, while apologetic, they haven't made changes nor amends. So, go to this location only if you're not picky about what you get (best bet is to order fried food, I guess), if you don't mind being charged a bit extra, or you're desperate for a Culver's fix and you'll take what you can get. Otherwise, AVOID at all costs. It's my fault for going there (it's my closest location) ... and I think I finally have to take responsibility and boycott because they can never deliver even the most basic of service. read more

It is what you think, a fast food burger chain...but the food is always fresh and hot. Whether it's through the drive thru or dine in. The desserts are awesome and the cheese curds are greatness. There is one drawback that got them o Lu 4 stars instead of 5....the wait to get your food is kind of long for a fast food place. However, they do make your food fresh when you order it so it is a wait. I guess that's a fair trade off. All in all, good place to go if you want a fast food burger with some dessert. read more

I am so thankful that Culver's has amazing hours during covid. Family loves the food and ice cream deserts. The staff is always friendly and attentive Lately the drive thru management has been less that great. The cashier provides a number but the expediter just asks what we ordered. This would be ok but we have been shorted on food a couple of times in July Most of the time we are home before we notice because we order for about 10 people. We are able to call the restaurant and of course they want us to drive back but we just shake our heads on that one In words Culver's cost too much money to have poor execution at drive thru. First visit in Culver's Greenwood. We love the one in Bloomington so much so went in Greenwood. We're quite disappointed the food looks good but the grilled chicken & the cheese curds are cold in the inside. I'm disappointed. When I come to Culver's at 11:00 I expect to receive my whole order. I went through the drive-thru, ordered an order of pretzel bites, strawberry-lemon ice mixer, 4pc tenders w/ bbq and ranch, and a cheeseburger. And come to my surprise when I get home there are NO PRETZEL BITES in my bag. I'm distraught. The pretzel bites are the only thing that keep me going when I have a bad day, because they're always there. These pretzel bites give me comfort and now I don't get to have them? Now I could drive the 7 minutes back to Culver's, go in and explain what happened and get my pretzel bites. NO. I just got off work, I'm exhausted. They should've been in the bag in the first place.
