My family loves Culver's! It is a bit pricy, but if you're looking for good, fast food style then this is the place to go. The butter burgers are great. Cheese curds are a must (I prefer mine with ranch). Their chicken strips are fantastic. And of course, the ice cream is amazing and they offer so many choices. Been back a couple times more recently. Service has went to hell. Food still is decent, but you will wait a long time to get it - even when it's not busy. The last time, we sat and ate lunch and then ordered dessert, which we were told would be right out. A half hour passes and nothing...we finally walk up front and only after getting annoyed enough to refuse to move from the counter (read 15 mins later) did the staff actually get around to making it. Another customer had been waiting to get their order fixed and had to leave before they got around to it as she was on her lunch break. There's no excuse for this! The manager (he said he was...no idea) appeared to be running the register and being slow as a snail, there was one lady who appeared to be doing nothing but spending at least five minutes (no joke) checking and rechecking orders (despite this, she was getting them wrong), and another lady working the drive-thru who just texted when no one was in line. read more

Great food, great custard, great service. I like their root beer a lot and I especially like when they have their Pumpkin Spice Shake! Sometimes I'll make a stop here just to get that shake! All of the staff are very friendly and patient with you while you're trying to make a decision from the menu. They keep this place very clean. Always a great meal at Culver's! Worst experience in this location, burger was dry and so cold the cheese didn't melt, bun was falling apart when touched, fries were cold and I mean frozen cold , drink machine had no ice , tables were all dirty and food throughout the place on the floor, counter to get ketchup and napkins was trashed , this was at 3pm not a lunch rush. This location used to be nice, we will never go back , if the one one Emerson isn't any better I have no problem driving to Plainfield, in all reality Mcdonalds or even Burger King would have been better, I would really like to give them less than one star as it was so horrible. I've only had Culver's a few times-the best part for me is always the fries! This little drive-in restaurant in the tiny town I grew up in had the same kind; they are crinkle cut, but thin. Delicious. This time I had the tenderloin, which was not quite up to my Hoosier standards. It tasted good, but something was off for me on the texture. I like thin breading, and this was a bit on the thick side. I have had the fish sandwich on my only other visit to Culver's, and it was good. Fries are where it is at. It is a bit more expensive than standard drive thru, but they make it when you order. You may have to wait a few minutes longer than a normal drive thru, too. Went to this Culver's at 11:52pm and they close at 12am and while I was ordering they said they "had no custard or cod" then when I told them I had two orders someone said "fuck you" over the intercom in the back. I had taken my dog with me to the mechanic to walk while we waited but got super hungry after a bit. I walked over to Culver's wondering if I would be turned away but they came to the door to meet me and take my order, and when the food came out (very quickly! I had barely sat down outside) they brought a cup of water and a treat for my dog as well. What an amazing and wonderful staff they have there!!! I just stopped here for a quick late lunch. It was really good. Even though it wasn't the traditional lunch time the food was hot and fresh. The wait staff did a great job of welcoming me with a smile and took my order with ease. Look for Libby or Nick. They both work very hard to make the experience worth stopping in. We often buy concrete mixers from Culver's on SR 135 in Greenwood. Our purchase tonight was terrible! Has anyone noticed a "gritty" texture in their custard? Tastes like wax on the roof of your mouth! We've noticed it numerous times but tonight was the worst! Nothing smooth about it. And whoever added the mix-in must've used a teaspoon instead of a cup! This is possibly the worst Culver's in Indiana. Service is wretched. First time I went in they got my food right and it was tasty but the staff was unpleasant. They couldn't even work up a smile for any of the customers and please and thank you were not words they knew. I'm assuming their manager might not make this a fun working environment or is inexperienced on how to properly treat their staff. Second time I just went through the drive through because I was short on time. I asked for the Fresco salad. They charged me for a Fresco with Chicken (the salad when it arrived was meat free). I didn't notice it until i had time to look at my receipt at work and then had no time to correct it. I tried to contact their corporate office to complain but I got no response. Third time I had a friend run through the drive through for me. They also charged her for the chicken version of my meat free salad and gave her a completely rotten salad. The vegetables were so rotten they were brown mush with slime coming off of them. I also tried to complain using their corporate information but no response or even a simple apology. These guys are failing. They ripped me off twice by over charging me and didn't offer a refund or apology. Then I got ripped off again when they didn't even offer to replace my rotten salad. A simple apology would have been nice as well. Also as a warning to any IBS or Chrohn's sufferers...they use Carageenan to make their custard. This will cause severe stomach problems with anyone with those issues so steer clear of their cement mixers, shakes, or custards. Bottom line, if you are going to eat here, assume they will rip you off and check your receipt and order before leaving. Always check their salads because serving rotten food does not phase them or even warrant an apology in their books and never go to this location if you are in a hurry, they will take advantage of that. Culver's overall has yummy food, it's just this location that seems to have serious management/owner issues. I'm surprised Culver's corporate hasn't stepped in because I know several others in my building who have had similar experiences and the management has never offered to make any of this right or even offered a simple apology. read more

In the last two months, the quality control has really gone downhill. Twice in the last two weeks, my order has been seriously flawed (4 - 5 different mistakes per order), one of which resulted in one of the sandwiches not being included with the order. I called in and talked to the manager to explain my concerns, and she explained that they were short staffed and that she was putting in 110+ hours per week. Really? 16 hours a day, every day? If that's truly the case, that's a problem itself. In the end, despite the staffing issues they are having, if they provide a substandard product, or substandard quality control, none of that matters. Since I brought the food home, trying to get it fixed would have resulted in driving back, which I was unwilling to do. In each case, the orders for 3 people were about $25. For that amount, I really think that their customers deserve better. read more

Cooking a burger in clarified butter is seriously good and I have to say, they rival my beloved Shake Shack and The Spot. Figured I better write a good burger review since I just slammed a couple local ones who couldn't match up to my Culvers. I come back here for the consistency. Yes there are kids running the registers most of the time but I rarely have an issue unless its super busy. Everything is always consistent here and I never wait long for food even in the drive thru and its always hot. Its clean too. I'll keep coming back as long as they are consistent! Good job Culvers!
