I used this Jimmy Johns location ( Raceway and Rockville Rd.) to cater a wedding shower for 40 people. The shower was February 22nd 2026, 35 out of the 40 guests got violently ill within 24 hours. Most of the guests missed work. Only the guests that ate the Jimmy Johns food got sick. The owner of this franchise is SSA Food Services Inc., they were contacted and offered no satisfactory resolve. Sooo I was using the app and thought I ordered a pick up that I planned to eat at my hair appointment at this location well I did it at the other location by the UPS store. Long story short this team went above and beyond by calling the other store and processing my refund there for me while making the sandwich I had ordered in mater of a few min. I was so touched by the level of empathy, service, care that they showed me, a customer that was confused and disappointed that I wasn't able to eat before my appointment but they made my day and I can't thank them enough for it. Today was my last visit to this location. 3 tomatoes were sitting on the DIRTY board, for who knows how long, and of course they want to put them on the sandwich I ordered for my grandson. When I said not to put them on my sandwich they took issue with it. The young man making the sandwich was fine and cleaned it but the short girl got an attitude and wanted me not to watch as the sandwich was being made. Guess what I did? WATCHED!!! If I have to ask you to clean the board something is wrong with your process. No worries, I let my grandson know (his sandwich) that this is the last Jimmy John's visit. This location is a frequent visit for my husband and I on our busy days because we know that they will always make our sandwiches that live up to the slogan "freaky fast", plus I love their sandwiches! The staff is always super friendly here too which is nice when you go in there a lot. They even made a large pick up order for my wedding day and everything was correct and it was nice to not have to worry about lunch on the big day! Yay! (It is perfect wedding day food btw, affordable, fast and you don't have to worry about it getting cold. And everyone can find something they like!) I would give them 5 stars but nowadays Jimmy John's seems to have the smallest delivery radius EVER and even though I live very close to this location, they won't deliver, I wish they would change this but it seems that most locations are this way now. read more

Great new location of Jimmy John's in Avon. I've been in there 3 times since it's opened and have been highly satisfied every time. They have a very friendly staff and the sandwiches are created just as quickly as you'd expect from this franchise. The store is clean, bright, and cheery. My favorite sandwich order includes a few modifications from the standard menu listing and they've gotten these subtractions/additions right every time. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? Location and parking. While it's on a prime corner in town, it's not the easiest to get to unless you're heading west on Rockville. It's also not very easy when leaving if you need to head north on Raceway Road. Since it shares a parking lot with all of the other stores in the strip mall, it can be quite difficult to find an open spot. Depending on the time of day, you might spend 5 minutes driving around the parking lot in a circle before a spot opens up ... which somewhat negates the freaky-fast sandwich creation. All in all, I'm so very glad to finally have a Jimmy John's in Avon. They're a great chain with a very consistent (and FAST) product. I'd strongly recommend this location for your JJ sandwich needs. read more

We ordered delivery from this location and it was the worst experience. Our driver was completely rude to us and we did not get all the food we ordered and paid for. When we called the store back they said they were bringing the food they forgot back and waited 30+ mins and it didn't come. We called back and asked for a refund instead on the food we didn't get. The manager we spoke to, Marquis, was completely rude and unhelpful. He refused to give us a refund on food we did not get and then would not give us a corporate number to call to speak to anyone about this. I ordered a simple #5 Vito with no onions, add mayo, and cut in half and made it for delivery. I live 8 minutes away from the store and between ordering it and receiving my sandwich I waited almost an hour. I ordered my sandwich at 3 on a Sunday so it's not like they were super busy with people ordering food for lunch or dinner. Then, when I called to complain, the manager had an attitude with me and her excuse was that they only had 1 driver and there were 4 deliveries before mine. Having 1 driver and 4 other deliveries isn't an excuse for that long of a wait, it's a small town.
