While working off of Shadeland for past few years, this location has been a nice spot to grab lunch. The staff are friendly and fast with service. I have never been inside so only going off of drive thru experience. The drive thru is a little tight so might not want to take trucks through here- I felt a little nervous in my SUV a few times. This is how fast food should be! This Arby's rocks!! I never truly enjoy eating fast food. However, sometimes the convenience can't be beat and you have to pop in for a quick bite. Now if all fast food restaurants were like this, I might frequent them a little more often! The floors in this Arby's were cleaner than those in my own home! And that is saying a lot! When the worker put my food on the tray she told me to be careful because the fries were really hot. I dont know about you, but that is exactly what I want to hear everytime I get fries! I don't frequent Arby's that much at home because there are so many other options available to me. Or is it because there is not one close to where I live? Oh well, I do love me some Arby's roast beef, especially the French Dip with Swiss. Oh my that is a homerdroolworthy sandwich with loads of tender roast beef on a soft roll with gooey melted swiss cheese and a savory au jus for dipping. Order placed was not correct and I got the wrong food for take out. They also served me half cooked cherry turnovers which were so gross. I could not cook them more because they had put icing on them. This is the first time I have had this happen but they are sure going to hear about it. Went here for dinner for me and a friend of mine. After asking Chelsey for advice between two different sandwiches her and her crew agreed that the chicken bacon swiss sandwich was better. Today I went thru Arby's drive thru on Washington & Shadeland and was served literally frozen mozzarella sticks. Mind you it's 90 degrees outside, so I pull over and go in. When I go in 4 employees are standing at the end of the counter like they were waiting on me to come in I told them they just served me frozen mozzarella sticks and they acted like it was MY fault I was served them frozen? I asked what looked like the cashier if I could have my order remade (2,4pc moz sticks, and a classic roast beef) and he tells them to remake it well I believe the "manager" a heavy set Caucasian woman has an ISSUE with them having to remake my order or the issue seemed to me was that she had to actually do some work. She try's to give me mozzarella sticks (after another guy already told me they never had any up and my frozen mozzarella sticks were fresh LOL) that had been sitting there. I then ask her are these out of the fryer? ( another girl put some in the fryer for me ) and she SNATCHES the bag off the counter and I told her , I told another employee I wanted the fresh out the fryer, and proceeds to mumble "you ain't tell nobody Shit" I then tell another employee if it's that big of an issue for her to do her JOB she can give me a refund and he tells me their making my food. She tells me "well I can ask you to leave since your getting loud" I was never rude or disrespectful to ANY of the 4 employees who never ONCE apologized for serving their customer FROZEN FOOD and I then tell her well I already asked him for a refund. Seems like they need some people who actually want to work in that facility. You work in customer service, every one is human we all make mistakes but learn how to CORRECT them properly ESPECIALLY when you CHOOSE to work in customer service. Normally the food and the service is excellent. Tonight the person that took our order was very impersonal. We ate inside in the dining area in the front on the north side of the building was dirty and was unattended. There was a group of five of us . It was about 7:00 pm. One lady had to take her ham and cheese back up because it was cold. They also forgot her chocolate shake that she ordered and paid for should ask for that. Another lady didn't get part of her order and had to eat her food separate because one part wasn't done yet. I had to line the table that we sat at, with napkins on top and on the side because it was so sticky. And I had even tried wiping it off with a bunch of napkins and it was still sticky. Only one table was halfway decent to say that to eat two of my friends sat there in the other three of us had at the other table after I had wiped and clean and lined it. Then after we had been sitting and waiting for orders I noticed that the person taking the orders became very friendly with other people that came in would ask him how are you doing how can I help you and so on. The girl that was working the drive-through have her cell phone up to her ear for a good five minutes talking on the cell phone while she was doing her orders. And then while we're still waiting for food I saw the person that took our orders go around to the back and they were joking around in the back you could see through where they were at were the people that cook the food. And I thought instead of doing that why didn't they clean these tables? So after we finished our dinner I go up to order two pizzas sliders for my husband to try who was waiting for me at home. I place my order and it was the manager that took my order this time. And then someone made a phone call and my pizza sliders are sitting in the window waiting for them to put them in the bag for me to go. The manager walks off talking on the phone and finally I ask in the back if my pizza sliders are ready and then a girl that was working in the back making the food came around and put them in the bag for me. I DID telll them the tables were sticky and dirty, that I had to line th tables with napkins so not to get my top dirty.. NO one said sorry about that. Then one worker got a spray bottle and go out to clean tables after I said something. Also, I told them they were about out of ice. Between the two ice buttons, I got less than a half cup of ice. Like I said normally we leave there, we ring the bell because we had great service and it was clean but recently it has gone downhill very much. This used to be an excellent Arby's...always clean...always pleasant, COMPETENT employees - that's when I used to eat inside - I actually called the headquarters to complement them way back then - I always use the drive-thru nowadays, and it's a whole other experience - they NEVER get my order right/complete! - after calling and complaining about an incomplete order the last time I went there, I dealt with a manager who was unclear about how they'd make good - I understood her to say she would replace my entire order - when I went back, it didn't happen - I eventually got a card for a free MEAL - what they call a meal and what I order for my meal are far apart - so I go back tonight after a long cool-down period to get my free little meal - I ordered more than the free meal that I would pay for...another incomplete order!!!!...to replace my incomplete order!!! - something happened here - scratch the competence - another one bites the dust read more
