Opposed to how our reviews normally go we have been to Portillo's before, however we did not have the experience we had hoped for and wanted to give it a second chance for real. I ordered the Beef and Cheddar Croissant. It was fantastic as always. I got some au jus on the side to dip in along with some cheese sauce. The jus didn't do a whole lot for the sandwich but the cheese sauce was fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Chicago Dog. She really enjoyed it and the way it was very briny and tangy with all the pickled items. She also loves tomato's so it was a huge hit for her. She added a little ketchup which I did holler at her for the sin, no worries. We got three separate side items to share. We got basic French Fries, Onion Rings and Chicken Tenders. All three are delicious. The fries are standard crinkle cut fries. Hard to mess those up. The chicken tenders are huge, juicy and very crunchy. The onion rings in my opinion are the best of the three sides we ordered. Dipping the onion rings in the au jus was fantastic. I enjoy the comeback sauce as well with all items and of course the cheese sauce goes with everything. Overall Portillo's the second time around was miles better for us. We will return again.

Mustard and that is usually it. Fries were good for crinkle cut. The shake had a cherry flavor rather than the date flavor. I was not expecting that but I kind of liked it. Clean and bright was an issue. There were quite a few people behind the counter but not enough to clean tables. It was my first time at a Portillo's, so maybe their drive in is more of a focus. I do not live in a state that has a Portillo's but I would go back to one in Arizona for Spring Training.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

I was with friends and one never had steak'n shake and the other one was like me...it had been a while. I didn't realize that you have to order on a kiosk, no one said anything. I decided to sign up for rewards (something I always check for before ordering) so I downloaded the app and ordered from there. My friends used the kiosk, it seemed user friendly, but it would have been nice for anyone to speak to us. Ordering on the app wasn't bad, it said my food would be ready in 4-9 minutes. My friends got their food very quickly. Their food was nice and hot. We didn't realize that getting your drink after ordering from the kiosk, you have to get your receipt and use the QR code to scan at the machine to receive your cup, some direction on that would have been nice. As for my food, about 20 minutes passed and I still didn't hear anything. The app doesn't have a tracker, but I made sure I ordered it at the right location and for pick up which it was all correct. I had to go to the counter, got a man's attention that was working, and he asked for my name. He then went to the back and I heard them talking. Several minutes later, a lady came out with my food and drink. I asked if it had been ready and she said yes, so I asked how was I supposed to know and she just shrugged her shoulders not saying anything. I was very upset, but so hungry. I told her how my food would now be cold and she just walked away. I went to the counter to get ketchup and she appeared behind that counter saying I'm sorry. As for customer service I would give 0 stars if I could. Of course my food was cold. I ordered the garlic single steak burger combo, it tasted ok, but I was starving. My fries tasted old and were not fresh. I wasn't satisfied. I noticed after signing up for rewards I received a free milkshake offer. They also sent a survey to my email (of course I filled it out) and for completing it, you get free fries. These will come in handy, probably for my kids. The ambiance remains the same as I remember from a long time ago, classic dinner vibes with black/white tiles, and retro themed red/black booths and tables.

I have to be in the mood for wings, but when I am, Wingstop does the trick! I always go for boneless wings and the quality of chicken has always been good. The wings are large which I appreciate. The mild buffalo sauce is yummy, but I've come to really like the spicy Korean Q. It's hotter than regular buffalo, but the flavor hits almost perfectly between sweet, spicy, and tangy. If you're getting a side with your wings, get the fries! They have a sweet and salty seasoning they put on top of them that makes them different from pretty much any other fries I've had. Unfortunately, they don't tend to use very much of the seasoning on top of the fries, so I would recommend asking for extra seasoning on them so you can taste it more. It's such a bummer to get them home and realize that that sweet and salty flavor is faint! As far as COVID, they're doing a great job from what I've observed. You can call in or order online and just dash in to pick up your order. The inside is closed for dining and all the staff wears masks. I felt comfortable going in to pick up my food. If you're going in for pick up, make sure to bring along your ID or credit card you paid with so they can verify before you leave with your food. Overall, Wingstop is a good option for wings. Ask for more seasoning on the fries and you'll be loving it!

I ordered a "little" burger (one patty) loaded with tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, mayo, and ketchup. It definitely hit the spot. We split a small fry, which was more than enough. The woman at the counter didn't seem very friendly and came off like we were inconveniencing her. It was also a little hard to understand her, which made ordering less smooth than it should've been. I brought my own water, so I didn't order a drink, but I do like that they have complimentary peanuts while you dine in. We went on a Saturday night, around 6:30. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a reservation without any issue. The decor was very nice but I feel we could have used a bit more elbow room because the table was cramped and smaller. Our multi servers were very attentive, super friendly and informative. We all went for the full buffet. The salad bar was huge and tidy, clean, and fresh. There were tasty sides including mashed potatoes, two kinds of rice (plain and veggie rice with seasoning), there was also a pasta side tossed in a very nice light tomato sauce. All of the food and the quality was on point. The previously posted pics on here are relevant. Most of the meat that I tried was just OK. I tried the chicken thighs and the assorted beef choices. I would definitely recommend choosing the filet mignon only in the red meat group. The rest of the cuts were on the tough side. They served it medium rare, which was fine with me. We tried the flan dessert. It was good. I would go back to this place, but I would have to be much much hungrier, and also make it more of a special occasion because of the price point. It would definitely be a great place for power/ competitive eaters to practice. ;o) !!!

One of my personal opinions is that the mark of quality and attention to detail in any restaurant that moves large volumes of food is cleanliness - and the salad bar was pristine! From the charcuterie to the fresh vegetables, everything looked fresh and delicious. The fact that there was not one speck of food or debris littering the floor or the areas surrounding the bowls was clear indication that someone was monitoring that area with meticulous detail. The meat options brought to our table were diverse, well prepared, and brought to the table slightly faster than we could eat them! We never found ourselves waiting for anything as the service was incredibly attentive. A very nice and much appreciated personal touch was added by a couple of check in visits during dinner from Gabriel, the sales manager and Sebastian, the general manager - both of whom showed genuine interest in how our experience was. Add to this outstanding service from our server, Jessica. We learned that this is a family owned and operated restaurant which explains the pride that was clearly apparent in every aspect of this dining experience. It's not often we eat such large volumes of food - but as soon as we're ready for another truly indulgent dining experience, we will be going back to Ten Cuts - even over some of the more popular and well known Brazilian steakhouses!
