One day in Eureka.... husband wanted oysters and this was the recommendation we got from a local. parking easy. view spectacular! right on the water. only 1 person working when we arrived (2 by the time we left). there is indoor and outdoor seating. The temperature and view was much nicer outside. Service was very friendly. She was able to answer drink questions so well (found out she started as a bartender). We loved our food and drink. I've already recommended this to my son who lives nearby. Looking forward to another visit.

Easy to find restaurant next to the bay. Lots of close parking. Had lots of guests and only 1 server-he was very busy but welcomed us/was very helpful answering all our questions and giving us suggestions even though he was super busy. I ordered the fish and chips with a delicous macadamia nut porter. The drink came quickly he brought the can and a glass. The meal came in about 10-15 minutes. The fish was excellent and the chips looked hand cut and were crispy and tasty. I will definately stop here again when I'm in the area.

The food here was so tasty! The butter that was served with the bread was better than any butter I've ever had. The fettuccine alfredo was super creamy and flavorful which I enjoyed! The staff here is super nice and there was a nice view of the water where we were sitting. I would highly recommend this place!

I had the half sandwich with a cup of miso mushroom soup. I chose the fish sandwich and the fish was really moist and tasty with lettuce, tomato, and onions. It was delicious and I was very happy with it except I wish there was more fish; the fish came in pieces and didn't cover the bread. The mushroom miso soup was good, but nothing special; it would've cost $5 to upgrade to clam chowder, but from what others said, I'm glad I didn't. I would say the food is probably three and a half stars, but the hard working servers doing triple duty kicked it up to four stars. My dining companions had the half crab sandwich, grilled halibut, and cioppino and they thought their food was good but not fantastic. All in all, I would eat here again, but I probably won't be in this area again.

The cocktails were delicious. Freshly made and chilled perfectly. The fish and chips were good NOT greasy. Coleslaw was a bit bland. Po boy was loaded with shrimp and goodie's. The service decent. The waiter was just having a rough day. Ambiance was comfortably nautical

Ok so just barely had the four stars. The shrimp was massive for my dinner but a bit over breaded. Veggies were great and the fries were the best part! Service was great and the food was quick and hot.

If you're looking for a good fresh seafood restaurant, you'll have to give this place a try. If you have non-seafood enthusiasts in your group it's alright since they offer other types of foods as well.

Wow... just wow!!! We were taking a road trip and asked Chat GPT for a recommendation for best clam chowder in Eureka and it brought up Jack's Seafood and it did not disappoint. The clam chowed tasted fresh and homemade, served with two pieces of bread with garlic herb butter and the crap cakes were fresh and tasty as well. The ambiance was relaxed comfort. It was like having lunch in your friends bay front kitchen... light, airy, and open.

The food omg was absolutely the best! The service was fast, friendly and inviting! Definitely worth coming out to again! Omg the BEST Clam chowder and the spicy tomato mussels were ‍ Fire! The fish and chip was delicious too!! Ambiance was so incredible

Is the restaurant dog friendly in the outside patio?

The outside patio is pet friendly as long as they are leashed and under control. The patio is weather dependent, so be sure to call before your arrival to be certain the patio is open.

Do they serve gluten free restaurants?

Yes, we do have several gluten free options available on the menu. There is a "GF" symbol next to all menu items that are already or can be modified to be gluten free. Feel free to ask your server for assistance regarding any dietary restrictions.

Salad has chicken peas and pickled beets.  Good solid side salad. The coleslaw is lacking flavor.  The fries are semi think cut but perfectly seasoned... Great Job. The clam cutlet is pounded clam then breaded and pan fried.  It's heavy on the breading but its also heavy on the flavor... thumbs up.    The fish and chips are pretty good too.  Taste like beer battered .. flaky and moist white fish (cod) I think inside a golden brown shell. I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

The man next to me told me that she was the owner it must be busy. He said she was a nice lady. He was a local. When the owner grabbed us and took us to our seat, I noticed on the menu how much food you get when you order an entree. Soup or salad, I got the clam chowder of course, they were out of prime rib so I got the rib eye instead. I was really sad about that choice since I haven't had prime rib in a while. The meal also came with either scampi, beer battered shrimp or calamari. It was so much food which is nice, but the steak was so chewy. I usually love it when I have to fight a bit for my meat like on a rib or something but not my steak. But it was a great restaurant and the seating on both sides of the restaurant were packed. It was set up for like nice dining on one side and then bar style dining on the other.

We were second in line, so it wasn't much of a wait for us. I and the other patrons were bummed that the Indica IPA wasn't on tap so I ended up purchasing a six pack. I wanted a totally different variety of beers when we had dinner at LCB's restaurant a few nights before. The restaurant offers a flight of 6 on tap BTW. I'm more of a wine person when given a choice, but the tasting the brews of LCB was one opportunity I wasn't going to miss while I was here.
