Food This is my goto spot when im near the 610 and I45 interchange. The food is above average for most dishes. Stellar for the Pho on Wednesdays. Service Kind waitresses and attentive. Ive even seen the owner washing dishes to keep things rolling. Aesthetic Its a diner. A bit of new furniture would be nice. But. Its a diner. Come in and enjoy.

My flexitarian friend loves country food. Occasionally, I noticed the sign outside the restaurant. I hadn't been inside since the new owners took over because it was filthy under the old management. When I walked in this time, I was pleasantly surprised to find it spotless. The service was immediate, friendly, and welcoming. I opted for the vegan option of fries, while she ordered the chicken and dumplings, a special on Mondays. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal, which was a generous portion and priced fairly, all accompanied by great service.

Loved the breakfast and tasted really good. The waitress was super nice and very attentive. The only issue I had was the 15% gratuity for party of 5, especially since 2 were kids. Other than that I definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

Although the service was good the food was terrible. I ordered corn beef hash and eggs over easy with a side of pancakes. I took one bite and knew this was going to be a terrible experience. I wanted to treat my pregnant niece to a nice breakfast and respectfully I failed. I do not recommend this place unless you have no taste buds. The worst $43 ever spent!

Was in the area and decided to stop by with my family. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated. While waiting to order, the owner came by and spoke to us which was a nice touch. I got the over medium eggs with hash browns, grits and sausages. Everything was good except the sausages. The grits were really good. Creamy and delish. The sausages tasted like they weren't cooked all the way Parking was ok, the lot was filling up as we were leaving.

My boyfriend and I come to Jackie's kitchen every chance we get and are always so happy with the service and food. The food is sooo yummy and the price is amazing, for a good amount of food. The service is always quick and everyone is so sweet. Liz was our server today and was absolutely amazing! The environment is great too and it feels like a classic diner

Super cute diner. The food was great with large portions. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This service was decent. Decor was like a classic diner. Nothing to over the top. Definitely a good spot to check out when wanting quality good food.

Awesome service and the food is spectacular. I typically stay away from the sweets however, their pancakes are a must every time I visit

Hidden gem for a great diner breakfast! Always good and great staff. Sat/Sun gets pretty busy, so maybe go early/late.

He asked our food order first. We had to ask him if we could get drinks first. 3) When we did order we watched our drinks sit at the end of the bar for 10 min until I had to go retrieve them myself. 4) The food was INCREDIBLY mid for it being that expensive. Undercooked potatoes, overcooked chicken, not a single person at the table of 4 adults had a good thing to say about their meal 5) It took 2 FREAKING HOURS with no one there. When I say no one I mean completely empty 6) Trying to check out and leave. Our server who was looking for an upsell told us he saw a cookie in the back that was ready to go. Thanks for telling our 3 small children that at 9:30. Reluctantly after telling him no several times it was awkward enough to cave. Cookie took about 20 minutes to come out. We had been there for over 2 hours at that point and we had to just get up and leave. If you go to this restaurant after reading this, you deserve the horrible experience you will certainly have.

They had live music on, and from the looks of it if you want to be a part of the show you can as they also have karaoke it looks like. The gentleman that greeted us was so nice and made us feel so welcomed! It wasn't one of those "oh I have to be nice to these guests because I'm getting paid" type people, you could really tell his niceness was genuine. I felt like I was at a fine dining restaurant. Our server was also very nice, and super helpful as I asked for a wine suggestion and she hit the nail with her suggestion. She brought a small sample for me to try before serving it. The food itself was delicious! We got the onion rings appetizer, and you could tell they were made to order. They were super fresh and also crispy. The chicken parmigiana was good, and they were not stingy with their portions at all. The picture I took doesn't do the dish justice. I will definitely go back to this place, as their food, service and overall experience is a great one when you dine in.

We…read moredrove into the mostly defunct strip mall, found the restaurant down on the corner, walked in and sat down and then perused the menu in depth. We shared a bowl of the potato soup where we had no expectations and I thought it tasted pretty decent. But the real test was the entrees. Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. We reached consensus immediately that both dishes were well-seasoned and quite delicious, meaning we would return for more good food in the future. Seriously, we hadn't expected much when walking in and looking around, but were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen's efforts. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
