Amazing staff and service. There was a mix up with our reservation and the manager stepped in and immediately addressed the issue. We then had a wine glass break and the waitress quickly stepped in and replaced the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant and hats off to the manager. You made our evening.

Jack Sprat is unquestionably worthy of a James Beard Award. After dining here, I am genuinely surprised it has not yet received one. This is not just a restaurant--it is a culinary experience that reflects passion, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for Alaska's incredible produce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is exceptional. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored old home that has been transformed into an architectural gem. Large French windows flood the dining room with natural light and frame breathtaking views of Mount Alyeska. Watching the lush green mountains as clouds gently drift across their peaks creates an atmosphere that is peaceful, intimate, and uniquely Alaskan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even before the food arrives, the experience begins with the menu itself. It is beautifully designed, thoughtfully curated, and filled with clever, catchy dish names that immediately make you smile. It perfectly reflects the restaurant's creativity and personality, making you excited to order even before the first plate reaches the table. I ordered the blackened Alaska sablefish, one of Alaska's signature fish, and it was magnificent. The fish was incredibly buttery, perfectly cooked, and lightly finished with sea salt, allowing its natural flavors to shine. Every bite reminded me why sablefish is considered one of Alaska's finest seafood delicacies. My wife and son both had the meat burger, and it was outstanding. It was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection--no ordinary burger. The quality of the beef really stood out and made it one of the best burgers we've had. The dessert was unforgettable. The olive oil chocolate cake with sea salt, layered with a luscious vanilla cream cheese filling, was simply to die for. Rich without being heavy, beautifully balanced, and one of the finest desserts we've had in a long time. What impressed me just as much as the food was the people. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Franz, the owner, who shared that he moved here from Michigan 25 years ago and has never looked back. His passion for Alaska, hospitality, and exceptional food is evident throughout the restaurant. That same passion is shared by the entire team. Every member of the staff genuinely cares about creating a memorable dining experience, and their warmth and enthusiasm make you feel incredibly welcome. It is also clear that the kitchen is led with experience and excellence. The current chef, having spent many years at the renowned Alyeska Resort, brings tremendous skill and refinement to every plate while celebrating local Alaskan ingredients. Fresh ingredients, flawless execution, spectacular views of Mount Alyeska, thoughtful architecture, a beautifully crafted menu brimming with personality, and heartfelt hospitality--Jack Sprat delivers on every level. This is easily one of the finest dining experiences we've had in Alaska, and a restaurant that deserves recognition far beyond Girdwood. We cannot wait to return.

Alaska spots get a +.5 star bias because the limited options here. This is a beautiful spot in Alyeska that serves up wonderful, fresh, high quality fare. Yams ($14) as an appetizer were wonderful, and had a nice cilantro dip. I had the Captains Catch (black cod, $48) and it was also delicious. The fish was super fresh and not at all fishy. I had a bite of the Pasta ($37) and it was also great. Prices are on par with higher end dining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is gorgeous, rustic-cozy meets modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are super nice - Mitzy is the cutest!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy vibes and great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Versatile restaurant for dinners with friends, family, gatherings, group of buyouts and romantic dinners.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If staying at the local Alyeska resort, they shuttle drops you off right in front of the restaurant which is very convenient. Don't pass up the appetizer with the ricotta, marinara sauce, and bread.

Excellent customer service, first off (10/10). Unfortunately very mediocre, under seasoned food. I heard good things about this place- by people that live in Girdwood- told me it's their favorite restaurant. But I wasn't impressed. The Waygu burger was a 5.5/10 and the fries were 2/10. Both very under seasoned. I tried my friend's nachoes and dessert- both which I didn't like. Just not enough flavor for any of the meals. On the flip side my friend loved the nachos and tart ass dessert.

This place is one of our favorites in girdwood. Everything was exceptional. Steak cooked perfectly how I wanted. Cod with the skin still was over the top. Sweet cheeks was our favorite, halibut lettuce wrap. Super busy on NYE and the service was amazing for how busy it was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The exterior and interior are beautiful and definitely feels "homey"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] .

We had dinner here after spending the evening at the Nordic Spa and this really was the cherry on top of a great night. We came in about 30 mins before closing but never felt rushed. Our server was friendly and quick to take our order. I won't say no to anything with a fried egg on top, so I got the bibimbap. It came out so hot you could hear the rice crisping in the stone pot. It took a long while for it to cool -- my fiance had nearly finished his burger by the time I could take actual full bites! I heated up the leftovers the next morning and it was soooo good. We were seated by the kitchen and enjoyed watching all the desserts being made. Unfortunately we had no room to order any, but will definitely plan on it on our next visit here.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience- comfortable, romantic lodge[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was prompt and good. The waitress was knowledgeable on food options. We got the yams. Really tasty and huge on the order size. We then got the momma Mia (Italian linguini and vegetarian sausage). Again huge serving size. We split the order and took half home. It was delicious. Cost. This is not a cheap restaurant. Recommended. Note all deserts have chocolate in them

This was my first introduction to the Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria, who placed respectably at #24. And I must say, as far as the food, it did not disappoint. We arrived with a large party, and it was extremely busy, but we got seated right away. Due to the volume of customers, the service was a bit slow as expected because of the high demand. However, when the food arrived, it was hot, fresh, and very delicious. I ordered from the veggie pizza section, particularly the Wild Mushroom Pizza, in a 10" and thin crust option. The taste, crispiness, and flavor were in the top 2% of all pizzas I've eaten spanning over five continents. It was portioned into four total slices, but I could only eat two. Most likely, it was because I had a large hummus side order, which was extremely fulfilling but very delicious. I also had a Pipeline Stout from the tap to wash it all down. Overall, these meal combinations priced out to be about $40 before tips. The 10 inch thin crust pizza felt overpriced ($15) for its size but more than made up for it in taste. Moose's Tooth is deserving of this title of the top 25 pizza spots within the United States.

Dropping a star since there is no way leave a comment or special instructions when ordering online, you have to call which kind of defeats the purpose of online orders.
