In Bishop CA, I ordered a loaded breakfast sandwich only for $6.49, thinking I'd get what was pictured! I got what looked like 2 pieces of bread half the size in the picture. I had to lift the top piece of bread to see that there was anything in between! There was ribbon thin two pieces of bacon a flat piece of egg that didn't even reach the outside of the bread and it was a few shreds of cheese! No sausage patty!!! I've learned my lesson to order the picture and not the menu item and if it doesn't come looking like the picture send it back and get your money returned!!! My order was taking a little longer than usual - no biggie.- and the manager gave me a brownie as compensation But they went above and beyond when I thought I had left my backpack in the restaurant. I did a drive thru today around 11:30, ordered 2 monster tacos (for comparison, a monster virgin?) and 2 reg. tacos. Good service. Got home 15 minutes later and experienced stale taco shells, REALLY? and a lack of filling, INCREDIBLE!!! Aren't these the discounted tacos offered to employees 15% discount? Now I'm mad.. I'm not one to leave bad comments but I have to. First time I ordered 2 combos and tacos and they forgot one of my combos and they will not pick up their phone. I couldn't turn around because I was on my way out of town to visit my mom. So 10 bucks gone. Second time was today, I ordered 2 teriyaki bowls without veggies and they gave me 2 bowls without any sauce and with veggies. I even double checked it on the screen it said NO VEGGIES. In small towns, it's easy to get shut out of things late at night. Fortunately the grocery store is open 24 hours, but if you're looking for a late night munchie run, Jack in the Box is way easier. I stopped on the way through town for a meal to go. I forgot exactly which burger I got, but it was pretty good. Their fries are decent also- no complaints there. My only concern was the Raspberry Iced Tea, which was definitely more "sweet" and "raspberry" than it was iced tea. I suppose I should have expected it, but it was so sweet that I literally dumped it out and couldn't finish it. Then an elderly gentleman told a manager no one else was requiring masks and was lectured about being grateful he isn't in Italy, counting his blessings, and how those other places have no idea what they're doing. This location of Jack in the Box (#170) is staffed by a consistent courteous staff, most especially Fernando, Dwight, Michelle, and Angel. The food quality is consistently satisfactory, which is a rarity in fast food. However, what they lack in food experience is made up for by excellent customer service. Even on the times I've had an order wrong, it's been corrected courteously and efficiently. Each time I've been here, this has been a pleasant experience. Those individuals named above provide a positive customer experience. I've even had one friend mention that she was provided a great experience by Angel as well. Went here to get the pancake breakfast combo with a sprite. The sprite was awful, flat, syrupy and lacked flavor. So I asked for a coke instead, same issue. They have one of those all in one soda dispensers and I'm guessing they never change anything out. Ended up throwing both sodas out and going to the gas station for a sprite.
