I also told him about the event I was doing. Because of the rain, he also suggested some water proofing spray for my shoes. While the water did eventually work its way into my shoes -- my feet were able to stay dryer for longer than the rest of my group. A few folks in my group got blisters from the wet feet -- mine made it through fine. So happy this place was able to help!

Asher only had one other customer he was finishing up with. When he finished up he took the time to make sure he analyzed her stride and mechanics with a camera focused on the belt of the treadmill. He broke down the analysis for us and did it for each shoe. On top of that, we didn't ask for discounts, when you go to a store like this I just believe you're going to pay more. No, Asher asked if she was a local student, because local students get a discount. He also insisted last year's model would be cheaper and just as beneficial. I was VERY impressed with the store and customer service. Of course they have all the brands I've leaned towards (Brooks and Hoka) and a few others. It's a small store but they seem to have a lot of shoes inventoried in the back. Definitely will go back there. I've bought most of my shoes based on price and haven't been fitted in years. I really did not need shoes for this trip, but I saw the most perfect pair of lightweight leather slides that I need for a different trip later this year. The saleswoman was so helpful in assisting me to try the shoes, and informed me how to ensure that slides will stay on the foot, giving me a little pad for each shoe. I was wondering how I would get them home in my already full suitcase. I was musing aloud about having to press the shoes together, and leave their box behind. She offered to have them shipped, at my cost. I was very happy to accept that offer, because these are expensive shoes, over $200, and they deserve to be treated properly. And then....I was directed upstairs to the sale area!! Wow!!! Terrific styles and prices! I will most definitely return to Footstock when I visit my friends in the area again.
