Not sure why some folks are trying to treat this like a Wal-Mart, its a local boutique with two locations. I don't expect a year long warranty on an accessory, its called life. I will say, that at least the SHOES here will last so, so much longer than brands you typically come across. What a time to also support a local business and save your feet/back from problems down the road from wearing shoes that are really just terrible for your health. Enjoy and happy shopping!

I really did not need shoes for this trip, but I saw the most perfect pair of lightweight leather slides that I need for a different trip later this year. The saleswoman was so helpful in assisting me to try the shoes, and informed me how to ensure that slides will stay on the foot, giving me a little pad for each shoe. I was wondering how I would get them home in my already full suitcase. I was musing aloud about having to press the shoes together, and leave their box behind. She offered to have them shipped, at my cost. I was very happy to accept that offer, because these are expensive shoes, over $200, and they deserve to be treated properly. And then....I was directed upstairs to the sale area!! Wow!!! Terrific styles and prices! I will most definitely return to Footstock when I visit my friends in the area again. An absolute gem of a shoe store! Thank you for all of your care.

I checked Yelp and this place was open for ~20 more minutes. I quickly went to Marx. Once I arrived, I was greeted by a staff member who helped me find all the supplies I needed. A few folks in my group got blisters from the wet feet -- mine made it through fine. So happy this place was able to help!

The Acton employees, however, are subpar. I came in and was not greeted. I perused the store for awhile and found some stuff I wanted to try on. I stood near the dressing room for a good five minutes, watching all of the employees chit chat by the register. I just went in and tried the stuff on without "permission," which I hope was OK! But come on, 3 of you near the register and no help? I then noticed multiple customers asking about a sale they thought may be going on. They were all asking if LOFT was having a "40% off your entire purchase" sale. The girls at the register barked that only sale items were 40% off. I noticed a sign that must have been left by accident that said "40% off your entire purchase" instead of "40% off sale items" like it should have. I politely pointed it out to a girl who was no more than 18- she stared at me and goes, "what?" Basic customer service tip- NEVER say that! It sounds so rude. Then finally, an absolutely adorable, energetic, and helpful blonde girl in her late 20s came out and thanked me for noticing and went to fix it immediately. We talked to for awhile; she is the exception to my bad experiences there. She embodies what a LOFT employee should be like, hire more people like her, LOFT Acton! Additionally, I wanted to exchange a pair of pants for a different color after I got home. I called and they refused to check if they had the tan ones in my size. I had to practically beg them to check. LOFT, I know you can do better than these girls!
