Stopped in at this mall this afternoon to grab some last minute clothing items and I have to say…read morethat I actually liked shopping here. This mall isn't the most spectacular mall in the world, but it had everything we needed. The food court was a bit sad, but if you need a quick snack then it will meet the build. The other nice thing about this mall is that there is a nice children's play area but the teens hanging out here are a bit intrusive.

I think I was bothering her and it was like pulling teeth getting the information. No cell service in store. I had a coupon and Cynthia told me the full price, (even though I had the coupon. ) Maybe she needs a different job. Seems like a lot of items were on sale.

This particular location is well stocked and we loved the fact that they had a lot of end of the season deals. We ended up buying two pairs of shorts for under $30. The only bummer is that we found out that if you buy a Sephora gift certificate at a JCPenney location then you can only use it at a shop inside one of their stores. This was a problem because we didn't want to box in the recipient of the gift but it was nice that the staff member told us.

This store feels like it's making a last gasp in the remains of a mall on life support. And that's too bad, because the store is clean and better stocked than some other Penney's I've shopped at. But that doesn't always mean you'll find the items at a competitive price. And more and more it feels like they have a limited selection for too wide of a variety of items. And a lot of sales require you to have a coupon. But my biggest issue here was trying to find an open register. I had to walk through 2/3 of the store to find one, and I had no idea how many others might have been open. Even an area I thought would be busy - women's clothing - had a big "register closed" sign. Checkout itself was pleasant enough, after my 5+ minute walk around the store trying to find the open register. Maybe more registers are open later in the day.

I have gotten great deals on the clearance racks along with the discounts. I find the store to be clean and the employees to be nice and helpful. I've bought jewelry with my Kohl's cash and ended up paying $0 to just a few dollars. Some of it is pretty cheap so if it falls apart after just a few months as a few pieces have, it doesn't upset me. What I can't stand about Kohl's in general is when you submit a review, they do not allow you to include details of the transaction (your overall experience), you may only review the product. I recently purchased two pairs of shoes on-line and ended up returning both. I received one pair in a few days, it took two weeks for the second pair to arrive. My review was not accepted twice because I mentioned the shipping time and the loss of the discount, even if I were to exchange for the same shoe in a different size. They tell you to call customer service about this kind of thing. That prevents potential customers from realizing the kinds of problems they may encounter when ordering on-line.
