I have been a vendor this whole 2025 season. The vendors fee of $40 is high and with the hundreds of vendors that go every week I feel they could drop the fee to more like $25 a week . That way, even if it's a bad day you will at least make the rent. It's mostly antiques which I love, but if you have your hand made items like I do you'll do great because there aren't many of us. I'm even getting outside orders which is great now that it's close to the season ending. Not sure where this picture is from. I have visited both as a customer and a "vendor", so am giving review as both: CUSTOMER: Admission is free as is the parking. Opens at 6 AM for customers. Vendors start packing up around 11 and closer to 1 near the parking lot and most are long gone by noon. Still, get there early on Sunday and you can find some good bargains. Beware of some vendors as they are selling crap, but most are fine. Food isnt the worst but isn't great. VENDOR: Price for one of Rietta's splinter-filled tables is $30 which is pretty standard for flea markets. You want to get there early to get up front near the parking or by the time people get back to you people dont have any money. You can bring your own tables to add, like card tables and such, so can put out a lot of items. Went on opening day and didn't sell anything until about 930, as a vendor you can usually shop until 9-930 and then open up. Decent selection of records but there are plenty of people selling big names with crap records. Not as good an antique market as say Todd Farm or Hollis, there is definately a lot of newer stuff and even some people that are just selling detergent and toilet paper stuff like that. read more

Rietta is awesome. It's not just a junk-swap, it's THE junk swap. I've created a pretty amazing collection of vintage and antique cameras from coming here a couple times a year. I've also spent a couple Sundays lining up at 4am to get a good table and sell my own junk. Both experiences are a good time! Come in June-August around 8-9am and you'll find the best stuff. Stay until noon and then watch for the people who are packing up to get really good deals. There are lots of vendors, but TONS of legit people selling their neat stuff.. read more

I went to Rietta today with my granddaughter who is Four. She spotted a table with LOL underwraps. Well if you know anything about a little girl and LOL dolls you'll know when I says she was excited. We waited till the end to go back to this table ... The guy clearly sold some during the day and even made a comment he needed to get more. Well at 6.00 each my granddaughter bought two she gave the man her money and he said Thank you honey. When she started to open the first one and got two pacifiers she knew right then and there it was a FAKE! I have video of her saying it. Yes I let her open the second FAKE one! Ripping off kids is just not cool.. isn't there a law about knockoffs at Flea Markets in Massachusetts. I'm bringing them back to him next week.. I can only sum up this experience by saying that Rietta Rocks! This is seriously the LARGEST flea market I've ever been to in my life and have nothing to compare it to! It's an absolute blast to arrive before sunset, avoid the huge line of cars, run the fields and find bargains! I've been here many times and always leave with a carload of antique furniture, primitives, art glass, pottery and everything else you can imagine! Be prepared to spend most of the day wandering the dozens of aisles, bring lots of cash and scoop up the bargains! read more

Since I wrote my first review on this place it's actually gone downhill, (at least from my perspective as a retro game enthusiast). This Flea Market is now trolled and picked clean by a handful of vendors and hipsters who then mark up anything gaming they get their grubby hands on. There's one mexican guy there who'll treat you like a human being, while the other 20-30 somethings who have tables will be trying to make Brewsters Millions off of anything associated with the hobby. If you see a big guy with glasses, just avoid his table, his prices are going to be straight off Ebay and there's no bargaining. News Flash, Bluto: if I wanted to pay online/Ebay prices I'd shop on Ebay. I even overheard one of his cronies bragging to another how they have swindled kids who have come to their tables with trades and deals. Stay classy, guys. Anyways, this place for me went from 2-3 times a month visits during summer to being completely cut out of my Flea Market circuit. Burgers were premade and just sitting on the counter (pretty sure that's a health code violation), so were already cold when you ate them. VENDOR: Price for one of Rietta's splinter-filled tables is a jaw dropping $30. Talk about price gouging! You can bring your own to add, like card tables and such, so can put out a lot of items. Went on a cloudy day and only made $18 after paying the table fee. Not really worth it for less than six hours, especially when they do nothing to maintain the place. So as a customer, not a lot to complain about as long as you avoid the food items. As a vendor, fee price is not worth it for the average Joe trying to sell their stuff. More for the professional vendors. read more

Free admission. Huge! To see everything, you must come early in the morning, as many vendors start packing up by lunchtime. Come any later, and they'll all be gone! On average, generally less desirable items than at the Grafton Flear Market but there are always exceptions. read more

I've been going to Rietta since I was a little girl, and for something so simple it is always an enjoyable time. With my children we've made it tradition to go for the 1st time every year on Mother's day.....it's always a great gift (family time, plus we find cool, rare items). read more

The rietta flea is probably one of the bigger flea markets but i am disappointed that dogs are not allowed. I mean you can bring your dog to home depot or lowes but you cant bring your dog to an out door flea market? read more

Most seasons I will attend Rietta almost every single week during the spring, summer, and fall. The venue is fantastic and on most warm Sundays this is the PLACE TO BE. While you can't guarantee what you will find, you can guarantee you will find a lot of treasure. They have a full serve bar as well as a small kitchen which serves hotdogs, burgers, pizza, and fried dough. Rietta should be opening next week and it will be a great season. The best improvements that could be made would to renovate some of the interior space to draw more people in as well as live music. This would bring in SO much revenue. read more

I have to update my review of this place because things here have definitely changed (and unfortunately not for the better) over the last few years. I 110% agree with William B's review- all the decent video game deals to be had are often, if not always swept up by any of the place's several game dealers, who then take them back to their own tables and mark them up to eBay-esque prices. Eff that noise. Additionally, the price has gone up to $30 to set up a table and sell. I'm sure this now keeps out a lot of small-time sellers just looking to unload their trinkets. On the brighter side, there's no admission cost (though not like the $1-2 other fleas charge breaks the bank). The people-watching is always entertaining, and you can still find some surprising kitschy/cool stuff from other sellers. If you're looking for reasonably-priced games though, get there early and move quickly, or don't waste your time. read more

Rietta drifts along from one year to the other without any effort being put into the physical location. Dealer attendance has dropped which I attribute to the space rental ot $25.00 A few years ago the entire field would be almost full. Now I would say it is at half of what it once was. Walking the field can be a hazardous experience between stumbling over large rocks, some of which are enbedded in the ground and stick up about 3 inches, and mud puddles any time it rains. How about leveling off the field walkways, opeing your market up to food vendors, maybe some music. Make it a real destination. read more
