This afternoon we stopped in at this JCPenney location to buy a Sephora gift card as well as some shorts for the end of the summer. This particular location is well stocked and we loved the fact that they had a lot of end of the season deals. We ended up buying two pairs of shorts for under $30. The only bummer is that we found out that if you buy a Sephora gift certificate at a JCPenney location then you can only use it at a shop inside one of their stores. This was a problem because we didn't want to box in the recipient of the gift but it was nice that the staff member told us. read more

There are still several types of items for which I like to shop at J C Penney's. Unfortunately, it is getting tougher and tougher to find stores with the quality and inventory. This store feels like it's making a last gasp in the remains of a mall on life support. And that's too bad, because the store is clean and better stocked than some other Penney's I've shopped at. But that doesn't always mean you'll find the items at a competitive price. And more and more it feels like they have a limited selection for too wide of a variety of items. And a lot of sales require you to have a coupon. But my biggest issue here was trying to find an open register. I had to walk through 2/3 of the store to find one, and I had no idea how many others might have been open. Even an area I thought would be busy - women's clothing - had a big "register closed" sign. Checkout itself was pleasant enough, after my 5+ minute walk around the store trying to find the open register. Maybe more registers are open later in the day. read more

They're such rude piece of shits and by "they" I mean one manager there called Vilma that woman was so rude to me I was trying to return something with my receive and everything and she was called because the cashier there clearly didn't know how to do her job and this old woman Vilma was so rude to me and to the cashier too! This store is a good example of the decline of brick and mortar stores. They used to send me coupons to lure me in but no more. Then they got a Sephora store which was a draw, but the last couple of times I went there my product was out of stock. The second time half the section it is located in was bare. Despite the fact that the store had few shoppers, the times in the checkout line were very long due to all the time staff spent trying to upsell people on the company credit card. Finally I left my item and walked out rather than wait any longer. Everything is overpriced and the selection is not that good. They got rid of the petites section to double the size of the plus section. Not all of us are large! Years ago I stopped going to the salon because they wanted you to book your next appointment when you left, but by the time that rolled around the person had quit. Turnover was through the roof. They do have the cleanest bathroom in the mall though. read more

Had a great experience yesterday visiting this store for the first time. Very impressed with brands, displays, selection and price. Bought a comforter at half price, and discovered a large display of Nike women's sneakers, so bought some. Also hit the Fanatics section with great success! Cookware section was amazing and the appliance selection was terrific. Even found golf pants and shorts for my husband. All in all, a satisfying experience. read more

I hadn't been in this store in years, but the recent "Ellen" controversy brought me in. The store has been completely remodeled, and is easy to navigate with large signs. The bathrooms were also remodeled, and clean. I got some guest towels at a reasonable price, the sales associate was friendly and customer service oriented. read more

The customer service in the Sephora of this place was AWFUL. We went in to spend money and no one asked if they could help with anything or thanked us after buying several items. they clearly were ready for their shift to be over. Will NOT be going back. Not to mention of of the gentlemen working there was busy just doing his friends makeup instead of helping us. read more

This Sephora has been good every time I came here. Then today I went and bought a lipstick. I get home and looked in the bag. THEY DIDN'T PUT THE ONLY THING I BOUGHT IN THE BAG! So I called them and they are shipping it to me. LOL! read more

Walked into jcpenny to buy my little boy some clothes, and as we went into the little ones dressing room, boom there was a shit on the floor. I had told one of the associates but nothing was done, till this moment, 6 hours later, the poop is still there. No one wants to clean it up. The little kids area smells like pee and poop, please clean it,it's gross. read more
