A very nice man named Anthony helped me from start to finish! He requested photos of the issues, and from them gave me advice on what to do. A few other plumbing services contacted me, too, and all gave the same advice. I went with Anthony because he got back the fastest & was trustworthy from the start (and also the company had stellar reviews on Yelp). Through the week we arranged the item I needed, I paid for it to be picked up at the Home Depot convenient for him. It was over 100lbs & I am truly grateful Anthony handled pickup & delivery. Come Thursday Anthony & his associate Miguel arrived to my home & brought the unit up my stoop + two flights of stairs, and swapped my old commode out for the new one within two hours! I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, knowledge, care & work Anthony & his people afforded me. They saved Christmas! Bless you, Anthony & Miguel! I was very surprised at the very lax/vague statement of work, the proposed price tag of $25,000 and the fact that when I wouldn't sign at 9:00 PM, the quote paperwork was taken away. I ended up with a master plumber who determined the cause and repaired the pipes for a fraction of the proposed amount.

The tech thought I might need further service in the form of hydro cleaning or air cleaning. He suggested I call several companies to have them come look and give me estimates. I noticed the good reviews of Perfect Sewer & Drain, here in Brooklyn, so I gave them a call. I immediately got to speak to a live person who told me that David would call me back in about an hour, and he did. We talked about my concerns and he scheduled to come out this afternoon, promising to call before he came. Within a couple of hours, I received a call and David said he would be here in about 15 minutes. He was promptly at my front door in about 15 minutes. He examined my sewer and the bathroom that was emitting a strange smell and, without charge or trying to sell me anything, he showed me that the toilet had some gaps in the caulk around the bottom. He thought I should re-caulk to see if that solved the smell problem and said if it didn't, I had his number. Then, he examined my sewer lines and the caps that were not sealed well enough, and again, without charge, he suggested a very inexpensive fix for it. He thought I should try these things first. I was very appreciative for this kind advice. You don't often find someone who is just nice like that. Again, he said if I had any problems, I had his number. I can assure you, I will keep his number and will definitely recommend him to friends. I happily wrote this review as soon as he left. I had called to speak with another drain company whose first suggestion was a video of the line for a cost of $250.00. That was without even offering to come to my house to take a look. I might need a video in the future, but as for now, I'm delighted with the advice I received from Perfect Sewer and Drain! Thanks, David!
