THE PROFESSIONAL! simple words to describe this guy. I was advised by a different sewer service that my kitchen sink clog was very complicated and needed a lot of attention due to the unknown structure of pipes inside the walls of a 19 apartment building. This service person actually recommended I call David. He said David was the end-all Master servicer. After speaking to David over the phone, he confidently told me not to worry and he would take care of it. David came over and did admit this was a little tricky. I have an 8 family apartment building, after having rain all day the gutter drain and the main sewer pit in cellar backed up and started to rise to flood basement, this started after 8pm, if I waited till morning basement would be flooded , took a chance and called Perfect sewer and spoke to David, he was on site in about an hour and did the job in a very professional manner with all the latest equipment for the job and gave a very fair price. I called this morning on the advice of a sewer technician from another company who had come to snake out my drain as a preventative measure. The tech thought I might need further service in the form of hydro cleaning or air cleaning. He suggested I call several companies to have them come look and give me estimates. I noticed the good reviews of Perfect Sewer & Drain, here in Brooklyn, so I gave them a call. I immediately got to speak to a live person who told me that David would call me back in about an hour, and he did. We talked about my concerns and he scheduled to come out this afternoon, promising to call before he came. Within a couple of hours, I received a call and David said he would be here in about 15 minutes. He was promptly at my front door in about 15 minutes. He examined my sewer and the bathroom that was emitting a strange smell and, without charge or trying to sell me anything, he showed me that the toilet had some gaps in the caulk around the bottom. He thought I should re-caulk to see if that solved the smell problem and said if it didn't, I had his number. Then, he examined my sewer lines and the caps that were not sealed well enough, and again, without charge, he suggested a very inexpensive fix for it. He thought I should try these things first. I was very appreciative for this kind advice. You don't often find someone who is just nice like that. Again, he said if I had any problems, I had his number. I can assure you, I will keep his number and will definitely recommend him to friends. I happily wrote this review as soon as he left. I had called to speak with another drain company whose first suggestion was a video of the line for a cost of $250.00. That was without even offering to come to my house to take a look. i had a drain in the back of our garage where we park our cars that would just backup every time it rained. It was so bad one time that we had to put sandbags against the front of the doors so the water would not flood my son's room. I did a little research and got a couple of quotes over the phone, some actually lower than perfect sewer. What made me give them a shot was when a friend of mine said I should have the drain water jetted. When I asked perfect sewer about water jetting, the guy said I should only do that if a professional plumber says it needs to be done otherwise, he recommended just cleaning the drain first. I think any other place would of grabbed my money but not this guy. So I made an appointment. The two gentleman, Glen and Tom, were a little late but other than that, they did an excellent job in clearing my backed up drain. I mean, what I thought was the back drain turned out to be my sewer line but they were very professional. Tom didn't want to track any water through my finished basement so he walked around from the common driveway to the front and back every time. Glen found that the contractor that finished our basement did not put the cap back on to our drain so he gave us one he had in the truck (no charge). When they were finished, they cleaned up, gave me a receipt and a discount. I gave them a GOOD tip and told them to go buy a couple of beers after work on me when Tom said to me "We don't drink, but God bless you for the tip." South Slope Brooklyn: Had a blocked sink drain, called on a Saturday afternoon, David answered the phone right away, and called back again within a few minutes to get my address. He came by within an hour as he said he would, and did a great careful job. He disassembled the pipes under the sink, snaked the drain clean, reassembled everything, and cleaned up afterward.
