He was fast. He got the job done. I have no idea what he did in there but I can shower again. Yessss. Thank god.

I would give no stars if possible. He temporarily fixed my problem only for it to get worse; had to call him back & tell me that he would have to come again & charge more money. No thank you. Stay away. read more

Prompt, reasonable, and did a great job! Will definitely hire again and recommend to others

With immediate response, reviewing the issue over FaceTime, clear pricing and immediate availability AXR Mechanical became my go to contractor for the plumbing related issues. I think the price quoted was fair for the time involved in the preparations and work plus spare parts (based on actual invoice from the third party). Work was done professionally with adequate post-installation testing. This contractor was recommended by my building neighbors and I joined their ranks by recommending AXR to those in need of plumbing work. read more

Olsi is a very reliable plumber who communicates proactively. We needed a quick turnaround job and he was easy to communicate and coordinate with, and sent a text the morning of the job just to confirm he would be coming--there wasn't any guesswork involved on our side. He arrived on time for a plumbing inspection job and performed exactly what we needed him to. I'll be reaching out to Olsi for future plumbing needs -- it's nice to know a trustworthy plumber in the Astoria area! read more

I can't recommend Olsi highly enough 10/10, he was responsive, polite, and super professional. He managed to diagnose and accurately pinpoint exactly where our hidden leak was. Our water bill had increased 500% in the last two months, so we knew we had a leak somewhere but couldn't figure out exactly where. Olsi did not disappoint, he drilled through our tile and concrete floor and found the corroded leaky pipe on his first attempt. And just when he finished connecting the repaired pipe, a second leak appeared. In total it was a difficult labor intensive 4 hour job. He cleaned up afterwards and told us to call him if we had any issues. read more

Olsi did a fantastic job. It was a difficult replacement of a radiator valve. When he got it apart he also had to replace the bushing. He brought all the parts needed, and did a nice job explaining everything to me. I'll definitely call him next time I need a plumber. read more

My co-op here in NYC is extremely particular when it comes to letting anyone in the building. I had every intention to work with Olsi, but my building management had other plans. Either way, I felt compelled to write Olsi a review. From the moment I reached out he was patient, informative, responsive and knowledgable. He never pressured me once and even after setting up the job and having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances he couldn't have been nicer about it. The other reviews don't lie and while I can't speak on behalf of a particular job, I can attest to his character as every interaction we had was great. read more

I had a leak from a garbage disposal, and also had water dripping through the ceiling from a shower stall on the upper floor. I received a rapid response from Olsi after my initial inquiry and scheduled an appointment for the following day. He arrived promptly, communication was excellent, and he was able to diagnose and fix the problems that day. He was very thorough, spent a lot of time after the repair to make sure that everything was dry, and left the kitchen neat and clean when he was done. Overall excellent experience, and I would be more than happy to use him again for future projects. read more

Called the night before Labor Day. He answered and was at my house the next morning! He found the problem and gave me a reasonable quote to replace my leaking 74 gallon water heater. A few hours later he was done and my family and I could not be happier. He clearly looked to have a great deal of experience and his work was perfect. On his way out he told me to call him if there were any issues at all and he really meant it. Olsi, our savior, was about to come back before I realized my mistake and told him that it was a false alarm. Thank you, Olsi! Wish you all the best, brother. read more

Responsive, did the job right, at a reasonable price. Yelp wants me to keep adding characters but that about sums it up.

Olsi might just be the most honest plumber I have ever met. Very good at communication and telling me what he could do and not do. I really appreciated everything about him, including the fact he drove from Astoria to Union Square in the middle of the day, knowing parking was horrendous. I was already looking for a new permanent plumber for my office and I am glad I found him. I would recommend AXR to anyone looking to for either emergency or project based work. I was moving out in 2 days time and needed a quick job on my toilet done. He responded within a very good timeframe and came that evening and completed the job. He was honest, reliable and direct about the work required. I had to send him pictures by phone and email.
