Probably the worst customer experience I've encountered. Scheduled to make repairs to a damaged ceiling but threw a temper tantrum like a 4 year old. To their defense, they had to deal with management companies that required more approvals necessary but still didn't have to behave like a child. They responded quickly but would not come out before the recent storm.They did give a few pointers and stated the heater was probably working properly but in the cold weather the house was probably too drafty which is why it was quickly cycling. When I called back weds. to make an appointment they said they do not service Queens regularly anymore. So that is my only complaint, that should have been clearer that only their office is in Queens. The price they quoted is average. I had an issue with my baseboard heating. I called DNS Plumbing and Daniel came out. He evaluated my boiler layout and thoroughly troubleshot and evaluated why theres no heat in living room and kitchen but the back bedrooms were fine.Somehow there was a blockage and It wasn't a common solution but Daniel was able to figure it out. He's very knowledgeable and you could tell experienced as well, he works without making a big mess. This issue wouldn't have been fixed by your average plumber without ripping the whole place apart. He also showed up on time which a lot of plumbers don't do. I highly recommend Daniel to my friends and family and won't hesitate to call him again for any future plumbing issues. Our shower faucet had started spinning without the water turning on. After taking the trim apart to investigate, we realized we were out of our depth when it wouldn't reattach. Time to call in the professionals. I requested a few quotes from services using Yelp's project tool. Daniel got back to me super fast, and was the only person to have an actual conversation with me about the issue, rather than just respond with a generic message and quote. He went above and beyond to track down the piece for the repair, making multiple stops the next day and keeping me posted the whole time. Daniel is phenomenal. I wasn't getting cold water in my bathroom, so showers were scorching hot. After trying every solution Youtube had and still having the issue I decided it was time to call in a pro. As a recent homeowner, this was my first time having to hire a plumber myself and Daniel exceeded every expectation I had. Before he came we FaceTimed so he was aware of the issue. From that he was able to purchase the proper materials. We were in full communication via text the entire time before he arrived, and he answered every single question I had, no matter how trivial they were. Once he arrived he just had a good energy. Not someone I minded inviting into my home. He laid down plastic sheeting to protect the tub and where'd he'd be standing in the bathroom. He immediately went to work and fixed my issue. After few other quotes and estimates, I found DNS to be fair in pricing, very knowledgeable about my situation, straight forward, and a huge PLUS that Daniel is a licensed gas plumber! Daniel came in on a Sunday to observe the scope of work, and in less than 2 weeks on a holiday weekend, Black Friday to be exact, got an inspection with the NYC DOB. My tenants were without gas, heat, and hot water due to a small gas leak. Daniel saved me from a disaster with possible fines and my pocket running dry! Our gas water heater was not working on a Saturday. Daniel was so nice to work with, extremely service oriented and prompt, he came within an hour as he said. That part ended up being a small issue that he corrected. While he was there he also got our heater to be back in action, called out a couple things to maintain later on, checked a sink without us asking as there was water on the floor and he wanted to make sure there was no leak. Daniel appears very knowledgeable, you can tell he is smart, he explains things clearly without trying to make up situations as sometimes happens with the field, and is a real pleasure to work with. Was a nice guy and did the work but did not complete work to my instructions. I went with him because he was fast at replying for quote. He replaced a kitchen sink drainer I had installed to replace an ugly stock version that was there before hand. I had a leaky plastic connectors under sink that I wanted to be replaced with all metal/brass parts. He did that nicely but replaced my better sink drainer with an ugly crappy version that I had earlier replaced without telling me. I didn't noticed the change until he was gone.
