Today, I was setting up my MIL's entertainment center and found gouges on the wood. The move was so unprofessional and there has been no follow up from Brian even though he said he would help me move the TV, mirror, and shelves they couldn't fit on the truck the day we moved. So disappointing, especially since we paid close to $4500 to move across town.

They packed this large piece of glass in a custom box and it arrived unscathed

These guys saved me when I realized days before moving cross country that I needed help. My husband and I rented a Uhaul to move from Phoenix to Minneapolis and were packing everything ourselves when, just days before we were scheduled to head out, I realized we had several large, fragile items that I didn't know how to pack. I started calling moving companies on Yelp just to have someone wrap my handful of fragile items. I picked J&J because of their great price and friendliness on the phone. I hired them on Wednesday to work Saturday - I am so lucky they were available on such short notice. They were communicative in the days before the move, calling to ask me to send photos of what they would be moving so they could plan. Four men showed up on Saturday: Brian, the owner; Anthony, who packed all of our fragile stuff; Randall, who handled paperwork and strategized packing into the Uhaul; and Mike, who mostly moved stuff from the house to the truck. They hit the ground running and I couldn't believe how fast they were. Initially I only wanted to hire them for the required minimum two hours but they were so fast that they packed all of my fragile stuff and most of my kitchen and loaded our entire 15-foot Uhaul in 2.5 hours. They did initially miss a few small items but I pointed it out and they happily moved some stuff around in the truck to make room. The owner Brian said he ran a moving business in San Francisco for 42 years and it shows - he was a total pro. They loaded that Uhaul like Tetris and I'm amazed they fit everything they did. I never could have done it myself; I would have had to leave whole furniture behind because I wouldn't have been able to load the truck that well. I waited to write this review until we unpacked in Minneapolis so I could see if they did a good job, and they did. The truck was loaded well and nothing is broken. One vintage item was bent but honestly that is probably my fault because I didn't ask them to wrap and pack it so it ended up in the truck unprotected. Overall I am very happy with the experience and I would recommend them. I was so deeply grateful they helped us on such short notice. It removed a lot of stress from our move. Thank you J & J!

For the past decades I've lived in the Valley we've always used Two Men and A Truck when we move…read moreand they do a perfectly fine job. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

I hired movers from this company who originally had a 2.0/5.0 rating. I had the worst experience. I…read morewas quoted $415 for a 2 bedroom with one bed, no dressers, the other room was used as an office. I was quoted a minimum of $415 which included 3 hours and a $40 surcharge. First, the owner never sent me a written quote. They were fast; however, one of the movers whose name was Miles, scared me by yelling to the top of his lungs out of frustration because he couldn't get the bed together because he had all of the screws tightened and anyone who puts together anything would know bit to tighten the screws all the way until those screws are in the correct holes and then you screw them in. I went in the room to give him that tip but was scared the entire time he was in my house due to his behavior. Then when they got done, the paperwork showed that I was being charged an extra hour of travel time when my move was less than 15 minutes apart and I was told that they needed to stop at Walmart to get T-shirts. I made the payment in full along with an additional $60 because I just believe in tipping and always have, besides the other guy was excellent. Great customer service and he was friendly the entire time. Any way, I went through the contract after they had left and noticed that there was nothing in the contract that stated that I would owe a 1 hour transportation fee now was I ever told this verbally. So, a day after the move, I sent the owner a message and he proceeded to go back and forth with me. However the most disturbing message was the one below verbatim: "I'm so sorry you're so broke that you can't pay the movers for a move that they did well for you. Send me your address. I'll bring you cash next week. I would love to meet you." This company is way to green and they need to learn some customer service skills before doing business with the public. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

After months of reaching…read moreout and following up your company's failure to follow up; your "customer-focused solutions" team informed me the claim is denied and will stay denied. They then said that even if it was approved, I "wouldn't be reimbursed much, only like $60 dollars, based on the $/lb rate." Thanks, I already knew the reimbursement rates were pathetic, that's not the point. Your company value of "customer-focused solutions" is literally worth less than $60. Your movers broke our stuff, hid all the evidence, and did not inform us of any damage. The claims department then strings us along for months saying they "will make it right", and, "someone will be in contact to fix this", only to play hard to catch, deny it and say it will stay denied, and then tell me it's not a big deal. My fault for believing the verbiage on your website. I thought the "professional movers" would at least be honest enough to speak up when they broke something and I didn't need to babysit or record them every step of the way. Also my fault for not making them unload furniture from the fully loaded truck when they finished; so I could climb in and inspect underneath every protective cover for evidence of damage intentionally hidden by the movers. Completely my fault. Thank you for your understanding of my situation. Good job on pretending to be helpful while saving your company $60 and costing me an extra $600.
