Hard gel Manicure
Thiri Z.

Ivy Nails is the best nail salon I've been to in Denver. Moogie takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect every time. Her staff is also very friendly and very thorough. They always treat their customers right. When you get hard gel manicure in some places, they do not give the level of detail that Ivy Nails does, which is a Russian manicure without costing 100s of dollars. Their prices are super competitive and my hard gel Manicure lasts several weeks. I don't do designs anymore but, when I use to, Moogie always did whatever picture I came in with. I highly recommend Ivy Nails for mani, pedi, hard gel, gel and gel X. My nails are naturally strong after I got gel x for the first time and now I always do hard gel. This is not a place that wants to get you in and out quickly to go to the next person. They want to make sure you leave with the perfect nails every time.

Not my favorite pedicure but the associate was nice and the pedicure average. My friend loves this place as her nails last a long time after getting done here. She showed me and yes, beautiful and it did last. The place is bright and very lovely. Love the gem mirrors and there's a tv showing music videos. I would go back since I know what to expect. But not for a great pedicure. Maybe a manicure. Parking in shared lot.

Went in for a manicure before my Vegas weekend trip. Ask for a simple gel polish with sparkles. That evening the nails started to chip. Went on my trip and came back to ask for a refund. The owner mooki said she'd only issue HALF refund since I waited so long!? I took these pictures that evening and showed her and she argued that since only 3 nails chipped that night the other product still counted lol. Can't make this up. Bad manicure job and poor customer service from the owner herself. First and last time visiting. Also she didn't know how to work the system and Accidentally issued the full refund. Justice was served but she was so salty about it lol.

I wish I could take Telmin back to California with me! I had time to kill while I was visiting this weekend, and popped in to Ivy Nails to see if they could accommodate me. They were taking care of other appointments but they scheduled me and I came back at a later time which was fine with me! I got a gel manicure and was really impressed with the workmanship. I've been looking for a place in California who cares about cuticles and understands how to clean and care for them BEFORE adding polish, and I end up finding it in Denver lol Friendly staff, clean shop, and good work. Highly recommend this shop if you're in the area! My dry cuticles and hands are very happy lol

I have been coming to Ivy Nails since February when we moved to Denver. I have had such amazing success with all the ladies in this salon! The quality of their work is incredible, and it truly shows how much passion they have for what they do! Muugi is my go to gal & she never disappoints! Absolutely recommend her to all my friends & family!

BEST nail salon in Denver! I came into ivy nails with brittle, broken - near bleeding nails. Every employee treated me with love and care. I have had more than 7 years of poor nail salon experiences in Denver, and I have finally found my home - a consistent, clean, professional salon! Thank you IVY NAILS

Hard Gel with Moogie

I see Moogie for hard gel and she is so fun to talk to, talented, and really cares about her clients. She's so articulate and has really taken my nails to the next level. Moogie pays attention to detail, always checking in if I like the shape, color, etc. Every time I've been in, I've noticed what great work the other ladies do in there too. Moogie is so sweet and this place is definitely a gem!

It's also a big deal for me but she owns a cleaning business so she notices little things I may overlook. We both had the basic pedicure. The seats are comfortable with the massage option which is pretty much standard in nail salons these days. Sparks pedicure chairs are well kept and have been upgraded. The entire place is modern & updated which is another reason we like to go there. We actually drive 18 minutes & 8 miles to go to Sparks even though there are plenty of nail salons within 5 minutes of our house. Okay, so pedicures were great & relaxing. The lady asked if I wanted my nails trimmed or filed - having the option was nice. They have a couple of televisions in the place so you can also splurge on HGTV while you're there. The volume is down on the tvs but you can read the captions. They also had a nice selection of music playing which was well suited for the crowd of mostly ladies between the ages of 30-50. After pedicures we both had our nails done. My daughter opted for shellac and I prefer regular polish. Shellac cures and dries faster than polish. Her nails came out great. Mine did too but with regular polish you get a base clear coat, two coats of color and then a clear coat. I dried my nails under the dryer for about 5-7 minutes while I waited for her nails to be done. Total was $126 and I tipped $25 so our total was $151.00. After we left we went to the mall for a bit and then headed home for the evening. I was going out with friends so I jumped in the shower - this was about 2.5 hours after our nails were done. I got out of the shower and the loofah had destroyed my finger nails. I was pretty bummed because I didn't have time to get them fixed before heading out for the night. So disclaimer: maybe ask to have nails dried slightly in between coats if you have something to do in the next few hours and have chosen regular polish. I don't like shellac because it weakens my nails. The silver lining: I went back to Sparks the next day and explained what happened and they repainted the nails that looked like loofah texture! They did not ask for any type of payment and didn't make a big deal out of it which is the customer service I hope for! I did tip my lady $5.00 because I was pleased with the overall situation. So we'll keep coming back for our relaxing spa day and I'd recommend Sparks for anyone looking to get their nails done.

Let's begin with a confession…read more I am a grown man who gets pedicures. I refer to the process, affectionately, as "sanding my hooves." Now before the men reading this clutch their masculinity like a fragile heirloom, let me explain something. At a certain point in life you must confront the reality that the feet you've been ignoring for decades are attached to the rest of you. And if you live in Colorado, those feet are eventually going to end up in flip flops or sandals. Enter Etoile Salon, where professional technicians transform what can only be described as feral hiking hooves into respectable human feet again. They truly are superb. Gentle, focused, and extremely professional. No rushing, no chaos. Just skilled people quietly performing the miracle of turning your feet back into something you wouldn't be ashamed to parade around town. For the record, I usually go with The Classic Etoile Pedicure. 35 minutes, $50. It's the perfect amount of time for someone to politely and methodically restore order to your feet while you sit there contemplating life choices. There are also plenty of add-ons if you want. Scrubs, treatments, upgrades. The spa equivalent of "would you like fries with that?" Then something unexpected happened. I started adding color. At first it was tentative black. You know...safe. Masculine. The gateway color. Then came money green. A little flash. A little attitude. Fiscally responsible. And most recently...royal purple. If this continues, by summer I fully expect to be sitting in that chair calmly selecting something called "cosmic mermaid chrome." The owner, Nara, is an absolute rock star. She's been in the industry for nearly two decades and that makes you realize the person working on your feet knows far more about taking care of them than you ever will. But credentials aside, what really stands out is how she runs the place. Nara has mastered the rare hospitality skill of making every customer feel like a longtime regular. People walk in and greet her like family, and she somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly while making sure everyone feels welcomed and relaxed. Which makes sense, because the entire vibe of the salon is calm and comfortable, not rushed. A logistical tip: they get slammed early on weekends. My last appointment was 1pm on a Saturday and it was practically serene. Six chairs, three customers, zero chaos. Now here's the part that tells you everything you need to know. I live in Cherry Creek, which has roughly one nail salon per block. I could walk to several of them while holding an Americano and pretending I'm productive. Instead, I drive 15 minutes to Etoile. Because when someone is responsible for maintaining your toenails, you develop loyalty. So gentlemen, if you've been avoiding pedicures because you think it's not your thing, let me offer a perspective. You maintain your car. You service your HVAC. You sharpen your kitchen knives. Why would you ignore the two things that literally take you everywhere? Go get your hooves sanded. And if you're feeling bold, try royal purple. It's surprisingly empowering.

The first time (first two pics) I got a french tip and the second time I wanted a more nude and rounder look with the french tip aaaaannnddd two of my nails previously broke. Amka used a hard gel to fix my broken nails and also used a mix of really pretty colors to get the specific color I wanted. Her rounded tip is really well done and so pretty!! I made the mistake of going to a different nail salon and regretted it soooo bad that I came back to Etoile and they fixed everything They also give you tea, coffee or water if you'd like. The place is really pretty! I'm going to keep coming back here.

I honestly didn't even want to write this review because I've been to this nail salon several times…read morebefore and had always had a great experience. I actually grew really fond of this salon. Last month, I went in for a full set, and everything seemed to go well. I was happy with my nails and even left a good tip. A couple of weeks later, I started noticing a lot of discomfort and pain. After taking a closer look, I realized that my acrylic nails had been filed so thin that they had essentially become embedded into my natural nails. It wasn't just one nail--most of them had some degree of damage, although one was significantly worse than the others. I never hit, broke, or injured my nails during the time I had them on, so I don't believe this was caused by anything I did. To prevent further damage, I had to trim the acrylics down because I was worried about ripping off my natural nails. Once I soaked them off, I found that one of my natural nails had a large tear and was barely hanging on. The damage is visible in the photos. I'm genuinely disappointed because I had always enjoyed coming here, and this is not a review I wanted to leave. I simply wanted to share my experience so others are aware and can make an informed decision. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, but unfortunately, the damage to my natural nails has been painful and will take time to heal.
