It's been about two years since we've been in and wow, there were huge changes. We were really looking forward to our visit as the food was always delicious and the atmosphere has always been very pleasing. Our most recent visit was somewhat underwhelming. The menu was different and the cuisine focus somewhat changed. We ordered the jibarito and were asked which side we wanted. It turns out the side wasn't included and we're surprised by the charge on the bill. The jibarito itself was significantly smaller and I compared it to my previous photos to confirm. The steak used to be so flavorful and it wasn't flavorful at all this time around. The only item we truly enjoyed was our bacon wrapped shrimp tapa. That was really tasty. The atmosphere is still pleasant but I wish the food was better. It was excellent just the way it was before!

Came here for happy hour and got the Spicy mango margarita. This margarita is probably in the top five for the spicy margaritas There wasn't anything on the menu this time so we opted in for a drink. The service was fast and friendly at the bar

Ambiance was very nice, hint at a little fancier or higher end. Service was very good. They told us it would be a wait for the food since the theater across the street just had a show that ended but we honestly only waited like 15-20 for food, basically the normal waiting time. The food was REALLY good. A little too salty overall but some of the best food in this area. Other than what was pictured we also got the seafood stew entree, loaded papas, avocado salad and the pulpo. Would come back for sure!

We were staying for a few days in Croton-on-Hudson and looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. We really enjoy tapas and the ability to share a few dishes. We arrived early, about 4 pm and had a reservation. We were the first people there and seated by the bartender who also took our order. Ordered the Trip to Seville cocktail which was excellent. For dinner we had the Loaded Papa, Pinchos de Pollo, Gambas Al Ajillo and the Pulpo a la Parilla. All were delicious but we especially enjoyed the Loaded Papa and the Pinchos de Pollo. Everything was so good we wished we would have had time to go again. They also serve breakfast and brunch. We took home an order of Tres Leches Cake for my birthday and enjoyed it at home. Service was friendly, fun and efficient. The only problem was finding a parking space but we found a spot down the street.

BEST drink menu I have seen yet in the entire Hudson Valley. The food is immaculate. Catered to my vegan needs. The bar is beautiful. Extremely friendly service! I would frequent this place every week if it was closer to my home! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Service is great. Decor is tasteful given the small space. Food came out with nice presentation but lacked a bit of flavor. Loaded papas was good. Pork belly could've had more chimichurri sauce lathered on or something acidic to balance the heavy fat of the meat; I don't think it should have been paired with another fat-- the guacamole. The croquettes were good though could've also used a better sauce to pair. The peril was delicious but could've been a bit more juices or decadent or had more chimichurri sauce. Overall this is a solid restaurant that could add extra flavor to make their dishes pop.

The place is located in a cute little town of Peekskill. If you're hiking at bear mountain or nearby trails, great spot to drop by after a hike. This is a tapas place with several decently portioned dishes to try and share. The service was fast and waiter was attentive. We ordered 4 tapas (mentioned in the pics) and a flight of sangria. I'm a light drinker so, the light sangrias with fruit flavors were great for me. All the tapas that we ordered were pretty delicious and carefully made. My top 2 would be the crab cake and ceviche. We also got tres leches cake after- man, this was amazing!! Very moist and flavorful cake- highly recommended!

Great little place. Beautiful inside with a rustic feel with exposed brick and wooden accents. Nice Artwork on the walls. It is very small but charming with a linear space which gives it a " NYC / SOHO " type feel. The food was very delicious and the Bar is beautiful. Great Place to stop in after a tattoo ..lol ( shout out Speakeasy Tattoo across the street ) Perfect date night spot or a lovely Brunch. Enjoy!

Love the food here & happy hour prices at the bar. I highly recommended coming here for the food and drinks!

Such a lovely place to go and enjoy the food and ambiance. Staff were attentive and informative. Home run with Iron Vine! Tapas are delicious as are the complex cocktails. This is my 3rd visit within a month and I look forward to returning. Have not had a dinner per se as the interesting and varied tapas are always tempting. Have had the delicious bacon wrapped stuffed dates, complex, lush and very yummy. Fresh Spanish sardines on toast were straightforward and delicious. Grilled artichoke hearts on crostini were very good. Grilled Chimichurri Shrimp were not flavorful enough, very bland Chimichurri sauce! Chimichurri needs more fresh parsley and lemon/lime juice and salt. Pinchos De Pollo, chicken skewers were not a favorite, thigh meat, was a bit bland and I am not a fan of thigh meat. Iron Vine pays attention to their cocktails; they make their own dried citrus slices which are a unexpected addition to their cocktails.

What time does brunch ends on the weekends?

Hi, on Saturdays 12pm Sundays 11am

Good spot for Valentine's Day dinner?

Obviously depends on your expectation; not a quiet spot for a table in the corner, but very fun and medium volume with great food and really friendly staff. Tapas are a great way to share plates and interact with your date, and the food is…

If that's your thing, then 4+ stars! Will also give a big thumbs up to the decor -- loved what was on the walls and the floors looked like they'd recently been redone. Various dishes our group had included a breakfast sandwich with sausage; an omelette, which was probably the healthiest option of what folks got; a cheeseburger; someone else got a French dip kind of sandwich. French fries were fought over -- so also a thumbs up for them. Again, I was the outlier in our group and in other reviews so I do plan to return to give it another chance. Check out the menu and other reviews and maybe you'll give it four or more stars!

The service was good but Im not going to say there were any happy faces or joyful people working there. The outside needs a little face-lift. Knowing my customers were eating on rusty tables would drive me nuts. The place looks sad.

The space itself is spectacular, and the views are absolutely magnificent; definitely a beautiful way to start the evening. We were seated immediately, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the service felt a little off throughout the night. The servers did their job, but they weren't particularly attentive or especially friendly, which took away from the overall experience. We both ordered the three-course meal from the Cherry Blossom Spring Menu. My wife had a non-alcoholic drink that she loved, while I ordered the Blueskin's Bounce, a rye cocktail with cherry liqueur. My drink was just okay. For her meal, she ordered the local burrata, the Chilean sea bass, and the black sesame cheesecake. She really enjoyed the sea bass, but the cheesecake was disappointing. I had the tuna crudo, the cherry-glazed duck breast, and the cherry blossom panna cotta. Unfortunately, the duck was extremely tough, almost impossible to cut or chew, and the panna cotta was bland and forgettable. Overall, despite the stunning atmosphere and views, the food and service did not live up to expectations, especially for a birthday dinner. Sadly, I wouldn't return.

Food is always served in a timely manner. It is served hot and flavorful. Now,onto the negatives: I know everyone has a not so great start of the workday/morning, but our server today named M*r** gave us the impression that she didn't want to be there. I cannot EVEN call it "businesslike or professional". She didn't offer any words back other than what was spoken to her. No "good morning" no smile, and never ONCE checked our table to even see a simple thing as a coffee refill. The busboy was the opposite accommodating one who gave the coffee and the take-out box that we needed. When we asked him, he gladly helped us. It didn't stop there! Now onto the male, who I've never seen before, cashier. Didn't say a word during the ring up. Matter of factly handed the receipt and the pen for my signature. Still saying nothing. Here I'm paying the establishment patronizing Pastels --- finally a delayed low tone "thank you" as I gave the receipt back. Ok, yes, you're doing your job.
