Got here on a Sat morning and sat right down. Ordered brekfes and it came out in 10 minutes. Food was hot and good. My bf's French toast was a bit undercooked, so he had some of toast. Friendly waitress, she was polite and attentive.

Actually I'm not a fan of Iron Skillet. The foods in some of Iron Skillet restaurants were disappointed me. But Iron Skillet in New York inside Petro close to williamsons, newyork makes me wanna repeat my order. I got good steak. They cooked it so perfectly just like I want not like other Iron skillet restaurants

Not great, but not bad. Wasn't expecting a 5 star meal, but the food was decent for a quick, reasonably priced eat after a casino visit. Loved that the food truly came in a skillet. Ordered off the menu, however was surprised to see a buffet. There definitely looked like a lot of options for the buffet

Server was not about to give you much time to review the menu...you best know what you want once drinks are brought to the table...called everyone sweetie..they got old fast...food was good..diner food..buffet looked scary...order off the menu..I'd go back.

    Too dark out.

Have ate here a quit a few times over the years. I have eaten off the menu and the buffet. Tonight was the buffet. Everything was fresh. Chicken and rice soup was very good. They had a weird item. Ribs with chocolate, tried it not really sure about it. Waitress was friendly, this is saying a lot. Being a truck stop eats they are harassed by lonely drivers all day and night. If you are looking for a place to grab food quick or just sit and take as long as you wish, this is a good spot. They will not hurry you out the door and there is lots of seats.

I still can't decide which was better: the meal, the service, or the instant diarrhea.

We shared the grilled octopus and the charcuterie board. The octopus was delicious! The charcuterie was a nice mix of items, except the cheese. They were out of one type and we had a LOT of blocks of a very salty cheddar. We had to leave most of it but the pieces we ate were good with the crackers & fig jam. We asked for a second drink in a plastic cup to take with us on to the floor and we were accommodated. We would definitely stop back!

Thus the one star. I ordered beef carpaccio, expecting delicate raw beef. What arrived instead looked like a lonely slice of cold roast beef you'd find sweating under plastic wrap at a deli counter. Not raw. Not delicate. Just confused. The side dishes were served at outdoor temperature, which was impressive considering we were inside. The potatoes and broccoli were so cold they may have skipped the kitchen entirely and come straight from the parking lot. Then there was the steak. Ordered black and blue. What I received was neither black nor blue, but a sad shade of gray, with absolutely zero char. It looked like it had been politely warmed by someone thinking about a grill from afar. And here's the real kicker: Fabio Viviani's name is on this restaurant. If this is what's being served under his banner, someone should check on him to make sure he doesn't have dementia --because this meal looked like it would personally offend him. I can say with confidence: Fabio would not be proud. He might not even admit knowing this place. For a casino restaurant on New Year's Eve--when expectations are already modest--this was still a miss. The room was half empty, the weather was terrible, and somehow the food managed to match the weather perfectly. If you're looking for chilly sides, deli meat carpaccio, and a steak that fears a grill, Portico might be your lucky bet. Otherwise, I'd recommend rolling the dice literally anywhere else.

First, the cafe itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. It has a pleasant interior where you place and pay for your order and then received a numbered sign. Second, it has a large, free parking lot (associated with Generations Bancorp of NY) which is super-convenient for drivers. Third, the breakfast sandwich was delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed her omelette with fresh locally-grown tomatoes and avocado. Fourth, the regular brewed coffee here is phenomenal. Overall, I would strongly recommend Cafe XIX for Saturday brunch just before visiting the Women's Rights NHP museum. As an added bonus, you can walk across the street from the parking lot and see the Ripples of Change outdoor sculpture of four women, including Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth with a lovely background across the lake.

The place was busy and when a table is available, you seat yourself. Service was very friendly and attentive. Reason for 4th star. Worth stopping when in the area and will return, next trip to the outlets. Just no lemonade or turkey dinner! Private parking, large lot. Milk shakes oh my. Unique menu, with interesting toppings. Vanilla milk shake was excellent. Stay away from their lemonade. Very disappointed. Pepsi machine and tasted poorly. TURKEY DINNER WAS JUST OK. SIDE Salad came with the dinner. Very fresh. Next trip getting their Julienne Salad. Looked amazing. Roast Turkey Dinner - Just like Thanksgiving, Not!
