Pulling up to this diner, was like wow, really, I picked this place. But what a unique find. The inside has typical Diner flaire with booth seating and table as well as counter. The place was busy and when a table is available, you seat yourself. Service was very friendly and attentive. Reason for 4th star. Worth stopping when in the area and will return, next trip to the outlets. Just no lemonade or turkey dinner! Private parking, large lot. Milk shakes oh my. Unique menu, with interesting toppings. Vanilla milk shake was excellent. Stay away from their lemonade. Very disappointed. Pepsi machine and tasted poorly. TURKEY DINNER WAS JUST OK. SIDE Salad came with the dinner. Very fresh. Next trip getting their Julienne Salad. Looked amazing. Roast Turkey Dinner - Just like Thanksgiving, Not! Oven roasted turkey breast with our homemade stuffing (don't think it was) & gravy (so, so) over it all. Served with cranberry sauce 15.99. French Fries were very good. Fried Clams - Deep fried to perfection, on a bed of lettuce served with our cocktail or tartar sauce 16.9 Was large and very good. I ordered a well done cheeseburger with fries, onions, and pickles, and needless to say, I was not disappointed. The burger was perfectly done and the fries were crispy, as they should be, but I have two gripes with this place. First of all, it is not wheelchair accessible, and second of all, the jukeboxes on the table are not real. That really disappointed me. This place runs like a well.oiled classic car! We arrived on a Sunday. Place was packed as always! Waited about 2 mins for a table. Service staff is super friendly, very prompt with coffee and food service. Table of four food came out in 10 mis or less. Food is abundant in portions, reasonably priced and the atmosphere is wonderful! Its in an old car car and decked out in vintage memorabilia from the 30s to 60s. Less than one star. We were super excited to try this diner. We came in, stood in the doorway for 10 minutes, not one person greeted us, or said we're busy right now be right with you, nothing. Every worker staring at us and walking by. We ended up leaving and left super disappointed. Stopped at Connie's for a quick lunch on the way from Syracuse to Rochester-- it was an easy hop off the thruway. We arrived after 1pm, when they had already served many meals, and the place was SPOTLESS! Every plate we saw come out looked fabulous and were very generous portions. Our hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and tuna melt with fries were great. Stopped in the restroom before getting back on the road-- and it was also spotless after many hours of service! We were on a day trip and looking for someplace that would satisfy different tastes... What better than a diner with a big menu and Connie's fit that bill. Cool little diner with a 50's theme. There is some outdoor seating but I wouldn't recommend it as it's basically just a corner of the parking lot... Nice enough but a lot of cars going in and out. The diner itself is an tribute to days gone by with pho-juke boxes in each booth, a lunch counter and lots of signs, records and pictures on the walls. The service was solid. We were seated quickly, drink orders were taken and food came quickly. The servers were efficient and pleasant but lacked the personality that goes with the job of a diner server... Or we just came at dinner hour and they didn't have time to chat. Salads were fresh and delicious and my wife's ravioli, while probably frozen, was reasonably good. I had spaghetti and meatballs and was a little disappointed as there wasn't much sauce and it was very watery. If I have the chance to go back I would try something else... Perhaps my own fault for ordering Italian at a diner. I will say that I saw some fantastic looking sandwiches at other tables and the sundays were just something to behold. I'm giving them 3 stars because my food was definitely sub-par but I'd like to give them the chance to get a 4th star... and suggest that you give them a try as well if you're in the area. read more

I went before the fire at Connie's the place was small but cozy and very nice. The service was great the workers were sweet and helped us with the milkshakes and gave us details about each one. The milkshakes were huge and very sweet not for me but my friend and some family enjoyed them very much. So if you have a sweet tooth definitely go get yourself a huge milkshake. read more

The four of each ordered different things and were equally pleased with our meals. Service was fast and efficient even though they were so busy. The place was spotless (including the restrooms). The food is amazing, and you can tell the chefs put all of their souls into it. The waiters are friendly, as well, making sure to give you an awesome experience. Imagine my surprise as I started to eat it and discovered American cheese on it. Yuck!! Why??? I'm not one to complain, just putting it out there for others to be aware. Rechecked the menu. Oh Connies. Easily my favorite breakfast spot in Upstate. It is a super cute old fashioned diner with plenty of booths and counter service. The place can get packed- especially on the weekends but the line moves quick. There is no WiFi and they are cash only which is part of the charm. My favorite item here is the Italian French toast with two eggs and OJ. I get it almost every time. My daughter loves the pancakes and my husband is a fan of the Pittsburgh salad with extra dressing. I've also had the grilled cheese which is great. They are famous for their giant milkshakes stacked with dessert but I've never partaken. For my this is a local institution that I always take visiting family and friends to when they visit. read more
