Nicely decorated place, clean. Staff was friendly and they all worked together well and helped each other. Server was Tammy. Pleasant and the perfect amount of attentiveness. Traditional Eggs Benedict 9/10 Eggs cooked perfectly. Ham was thick cut and juicy! You could taste it well. Hollandaise was pretty good. You can tell it's homemade because the sauce was starting to break just a little. My only complaint would be to add some/more lemon juice. Other than that it was perfect. Home fries 8/10 were seasoned pretty well and crispy. They were pretty good! Corned beef hash 10/10 Juicy, salty, and flavorful. Sunny side up eggs we're cooked perfectly. Place was only maybe a quarter full and many people were told the kitchen was backed up and they couldn't take any orders for 15-20 mins. Claimed they were understaffed. The bartender was overwhelmed with just 4 people at bar. We travel a lot and rarely complain, but this place was just completely unprofessional. The food was average at best. Our sides were wrong. Very disappointed because the place is right on the lake and the hotel was very nice. Even an employee gave us recommendations for a different restaurant if we were staying another night . I had called to make reservations amd was put on hold for ten MiN. I hung up and tryied a second number it rang and rang. Said it 2as a Google number? Hung up and tried a 3rd number. They answered and tranfered me to another extention. I talk with a polite male and he helped me make the reservation. We waited for someone to acknowledge us while we stood in the bar area. 2 people were in the dining area but I thought they were custumers having there meal. They glanced over at us and as I was about to walk out, a woman came over and asked if we needed a table for 2. I ecknolaged that we made a reservation giving her my name. She said yes for 5:15pm. Maybe we interuped there break coming in early. The gentalmen said if we arrived early that it would not be a problem. let me set the stage. There was maybe one other table in the whole place that was taken! The rest were at the bar. We were seated and offered water. The veiw was nide until you sat down to the table. The farm is such that it is write at eye level so they need to replace the tables with higher seats if the view is somthing they are using to draw people in. There is seating out side that may be a bg draw in the warmer weather. We order drinks and she came in a timely manner. Took our order appetizers and dinner, most places do this now for some reason. We ordered a meat and cheese platter. It was small but enough for two. 4 types of mustard seeds, and maybe 3 kinds of meat. Nothing spectacular about it. We thought it was served with some crackers or bread. We had peal and eat shrimp with a toss of old bay seasoning. Maybe 12 tiny tiny shrimp and thick chunky tasteless what I would assume was cocktail sauce. Salty with the bay seasoning. Maybe just do plan. Sauce had no flavor. Whe she came over after we finished, she asked how it was. We were frank, alright, hmm. My husband mentioned we thought it would of been served with bread or crackers. An paused and said oh you are right. Let me get some rools they just came out the oven.. I think she missed the crackers.. Over all I would give the food a 3. Not something I would eat again. She took the cheese platter off the table but never asked if we wanted it boxed to take with us and brought the food out at that same time. A little rushed I felt. Seeing they were not at all busy. Our drinks ran dry and my husbaned had to wave to her to come over to the table as she seemed more engaged with a conversation with co worker the tending to customers. My chicked was so so. It looked good. Skin was fair. Meat was somewhat dry and I did not recognize the filling of cheese. A little strong and needed to be more on the moist side. Rice and vegetables were good. Hubby said his steak was fine but not something he wants again. The server could of been a little less rushed and a little more attentive. We went here because everywhere else was full. I didn't have high hopes, but it was worse than expected. We stood in the bar area for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged and even then no one helped us. The inside was empty. Maybe 5 tables outside were taken. We sat for another 20 minutes then finally I went up to a waitress as she was prepping napkins and asked for service. The waitress we finally had was pleasant and the food wasn't bad. But the service was horrible. We had out of town guests and it took us over two hours to finally get food. NEVER AGAIN. read more

If you're looking for a good drinks and appetizer place this may be be for you. But overall our experience was eloquently mid. The location is nice on the lake, we wish we could have sat outside though. The service was nice and the staff was friendly. Our appetizer of poutine was delicious along with the bread and made us excited about our entrees. The meal I got was the pork chop, it was a bit over seasoned for me. It came with cheddar risotto which was yummy and was my favorite part. It also came with Brussels which were also a bit crisp for me as well. The entree my partner got was a Caribbean mahi mahi with wild rice and asparagus, while the wild rice and asparagus were both well done the fish fell short of of flavor and did meet his expectations. Have visited here twice recently because of its great lakefront setting. During both visits our wait staff have shared that they are the only person working the entire place as others have all called in sick or refused to work. Both ladies were apologetic but the delays in service were evident. The food was good but not spectacular. The whole place has an unkempt feeling- example. Papers and bird feathers all over the patio from a previous evening event. This should be a 5 star destination with this lakefront setting. However it seems poorly managed and very poorly staffed. This was one of the worst experiences in a restaurant in all the years I've traveled. It took over a 1/2 hour to get water, then longer for drinks, and after over an hour waiting for appetizers we left. At one point every single waitress was off the floor for 15 minutes. If you like a great view of Seneca Lake, this is worth a try. Stopped in for lunch on a gorgeous 70 degree day and was happy to find plenty of seating in or outside (we sat out). Service in the front of house was just ok - not like they are overjoyed to see customers. Best part of my tasteless burger was the homemade ketchup (had to ask, glad I did) and my son's soft, yummy pretzel sticks with mustard cheese sauce. Had an outstanding experience tonight at this fine dining establishment. Perfectly cooked huge pork chop with rice and asparagus. My wife had the salmon which she also enjoyed. Dr. Frank's semi-dry Reisling went well. Our server Miguel was outstanding. Of course, during tonight's major snow storm, we were the only couple at the restaurant. We are staying overnight in the hotel and decided to give the restaurant a try (usually that is a solid no thanks) but it was cold and I was tired from our drive. Holy moly, good food :) husband had a 16 ounce ribeye cooked rare and perfectly, the temp was spot on. I had the FT2 burger, cooked medium rare - cooked perfectly. We dropped by to see and hear one of our friends sing and play in the bar area which is next to the restaurant. There was not a single person in the restaurant. Most of the people there were family and friends of the singer Ken Campbell. Dave the bartender was a bit overwhelmed as he also was responsible for all the tables, food orders and bar. Meanwhile a waitress was focused on her phone and providing no help or service. We decided to order some fries and hot pretzels. Our expectations were low and we were surprised when we got the food. The fries were delicious, not greasy and perfectly fried. The pretzels were moist and accompanied by a hot beer cheese. People around us who had a meal were also surprised with the good taste. This bar/lounge is located in a hotel that is on the water. However the entrance lacks adequate lighting and signage. Had some items from the bar menu last night: the scallops are off-the-charts good !! Beautifully cooked, sauce so good I wanted to lick the plate. Have dined here before and really enjoy the grain bowl with salmon. New chef and menu since January-now new decor as well. Love that this large scale establishment does the work to use a LOT of local ingredients, and actually cooks in the kitchen instead of ripping open Sysco bags and microwaving. I've been twice since they've revamped. Once for lunch and once for brunch. I think the new place is quite an improvement from the Pier House. The menu is updated with some exciting new choices. For lunch I had a gluten free triple decker grilled cheese and fries. It was awesome. Very full of flavor and the GF bread was normal size! The wine list is small but adequate. For brunch I had the shrimp and grits. They were delish, however a bit greasy. My grits were sitting in a pool of grease or broth with fatty oil. The shrimp were not as large as I was hoping for. The flavor was on point though. We eat had an F2T mimosa made with yummy red jacket juice. PLEASE ADD CARAFES/PITCHERS OF MIMOSAS -MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER! NO ONE WANTS TO BUY MORE THAN ONE MIMOSA FOR $9 EACH! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their service seriously needs improving. Both times the waitresses (2 different ones) hardly checked up on us. Also at brunch we waited for over 20 mins from the time she dropped off the bill to the time she picked up our credit cards. While our waitress kept disappearing. The restaurant was not busy, and honestly we would have "tried" to get more mimosas if we knew we would have had to wait longer than expected. read more

Unfortunately, the hostess/manager must have not shared enthusiasm of having paying customers walking in! We were told the place is "about to get slammed" and we couldn't be seated because of upcoming reservation in half-hour. We were shocked as we stared at multiple empty tables outside. The woman we talked to was rude, looked super stressed and couldn't give us clear directions on how to get the table for three even if we were willing to wait. She stated she couldn't guarantee the seating even with reservation, which made no sense. Finally, we left and took our money to the restaurant around the corner. Went on a Saturday night. Beautiful location and service was OK. 2 in our party ordered the beef with fried rice - it was so salty as to be barely edible. I had the sword fish over pasta. The worst was my wife's Blue and Green salad to which she added grilled shrimp. Greens were soaked in a tasteless oil which was also very salty; pickled beet chunks salt laden; and grilled shrimp (6 for $10 add on) were very fishy. We were driving through Geneva looking for outdoor seating on the lake and there were very limited options. This location is very nice - it is attached to a hotel but separate enough that it doesn't feel like it. The enviable is very nice, modern. Outdoor seating was lovely. The food was ok, not great... We so wanted the peanut butter French toast to be good, but it was difficult to eat because it was so heavy. The service was a little slow but the waitress was very nice with a bright smile. We asked for a cappuccino but they only had coffee. When I asked if I could get an iced coffee, they said they didn't have that either . Oh well, iced tea was fine... read more
