The pricing for the repair is among the lowest I could find in North and Central NJ. Plenty of places to eat or to grab a drink in Hoboken by the PATH while you wait. They had my laptop for weeks. claimed they replaced certain items. it still didn't work. after 3 unsuccessful tries, I realized they were just spinning their wheels. I brought the comp to Tekserve, and they explained that only half of what Ipulse said they had done was actually done, and done very poorly. Within 2 days my computer is now working perfectly. Terrible experience here. I went to iPulse 10 days ago to get my iPhone 6 screen repaired. 1 week later there was an LCD problem with the screen for no reason. iPulse would not take any responsibility for it and wanted to charge me $120 to fix it again!! They wouldn't give me $1 discount off that, so I went to Hoboken wireless. Not only did Hoboken wireless give me a better deal but their service was exceptional. I had replaced 2 screens in iPulse in the last 12 months. They have lost a customer for life! Word spreads in Hoboken quickly about these kinds of experiences guys... Be very careful or you will go out of business quickly! read more

The only time I've ever written a review on line was to sing praises but I had to write this review to warn people NOT to go here. I am writing this on my laptop because my iPhone is unusable. My screen had been cracked but usable and I finally got around to bringing it in to get it fixed and brought it to iPulse. I usually go to the Apple store or a place in the city by my office but since I'm working from home...). I was charged $180 + $10 for a screen protector and in less than 2 weeks I woke up and my screen was black. I brought it in at 9am and came back after trying to get work done without the phone and noticed the new screen had what looked like a large water mark on it. That was after I asked for a new screen protector because the one he put on before was now shattered. He insisted I pay for a new one because the old one was cracked and pointed to a tiny nick on the edge that I hadn't even noticed and then continued to get increasingly irate and nonsensical. He did agree, however that the screen he put on was defective and told me to come back the next day (more time wasted, but I agreed). When I got got home I noticed that not only was the screen damaged but it was too small for the phone and the emoji icon and microphone icon on the bottom left and right of the text screen were barely visible and unusable. He again changed the screen but again this problem persisted. I pointed this out to him and he tried to make it as if I changed the settings on the phone when obviously, the screen he put on, was not the right screen, a really cheap screen and too small for the phone. He tried to mess with the setting but that wasn't it so he just started arguing with me and told me to go to Apple and get a screen. I said fine- give me my money back and he said I gave you 3 screens already which was obviously I a joke!. It is now 2 hours later and the screen is totally non responsive and my phone is unusable. Bottom line- guy takes nor responsibility for his shotty work and cheap products. read more

DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. We went to this store because it was convenient - and had an absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT bring your phone here. We brought several Apple devices here to have cracked screens replaced. We are a very gadget-friendly household. My husband travels a lot and has had multiple device screens repaired through the years, so this is a process we're very familiar with. On our first visit, they seemed to do good work. We had a cracked iPhone screen fixed and all seemed to be well. However, on the second visit, we brought an iPad Air in to have the cracked screen fixed. Without asking us, they put a white screen on a black iPad - and left the black button in place. It looked terrible. When asked about it, they just said that they didn't have a black screen. We were in a hurry, so we let it go. At least it was fixed... right? Bad judgement on our part - we came back again. This time, we brought two iPhones - an iPhone 6 Plus and a regular iPhone 6 - both with cracked screens. They looked fine once they were fixed, but the top left-hand corner of each phone screen became non-responsive (we found out later that they used non-Apple parts to repair). On one of the phones, it looked as though the phone frame had a slight bend to it - so we brought that one in to them first. My husband asked why that might be happening - and the store owner got extremely angry with him. My husband explained that he wasn't even blaming him at this point, he just wanted to understand what happened - but there was no point, he just kept being angry and dismissive. We didn't even bother telling him that the 6 Plus was doing the same thing - we gave up and ultimately purchased a new phone. Next - the iPad they had repaired (with the wrong colored screen)... The screen began to operate as if it had a mind of its own. No matter where you touched, ten other places on the screen started to select as well. My husband brought it back to ask what was happening. The owner completely flipped out on him. My husband very calmly explained that he wanted to understand why this was happening, he actually wasn't trying to make a claim, he just wanted to get it fixed and make sure it didn't happen again. Just to be clear - at this point WE ARE TRYING TO GIVE THIS MAN MORE MONEY to fix the work he has done poorly and he is STILL getting angry. I'm aware that there were some language barriers, but my husband was calm, rational and not AT ALL aggressive during this interaction. If anything, he was standing there looking perplexed as this man kept angrily accusing him of being a problem while we tried to pay him to fix something - AGAIN. Some of the things he said towards my husband revealed that there was some racial profiling at play - accusing him of being a problem or trying to cheat him in some way, saying he was "a stressful customer" and "somebody who might cause an incident" when there was absolutely NO anger coming from our side at all - and again, we kept explaining that WE WERE WILLING TO PAY - again! Whatever you do, AVOID AVOID AVOID this store. They will use non-Apple products and void any warranty you have, the work will not hold up and they are EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. read more

This was a wonderful experience. I took my newly cracked Iphone 4s lamenting all the way to the shop. In less than 30 minutes the man was finished and returned my iphone as if it was never broken. While an over priced trade as a whole.... (cost him $10 for the parts) I was more than satisfied the results. read more

This place was an ABSOLUTE RIPOFF. ******I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ****** I want to preface any of my comments by stating I literally have never wrote one online, but unfortunately after being a costumer at this place, I felt obliged to voice my experience to anyone who even considers being a consumer at this poorly run establishment. At a glance this place seems normal and a convenient place for a quick fix, but I found out shortly thereafter that it was all a big scam. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon with a shattered iPhone 6 screen and was told it would cost $140 to replace one. Knowing that I didn't have the luxury of time to head to an Apple store, I decided it was worth saving time and just getting it done right there on the spot. The man shook my hand and looked me in the eye stating that there would be a 90 day warranty for any issues regarding the screen replacement. All was well until about 30 days in where the screen started to malfunction due to a faulty screen. It was unusable and after being in a case since the fix, I brought it back in to have it looked at. To my surprise there were ironically TWO other customers there at the same time experiencing the same exact issue. After about a 30 minute wait due to an understaffed, one man operation, the "owner" behind the counter decided to take a quick glance at it and state that he would not honor the warranty. He stated that I had to repay for the faulty screen or take it elsewhere which is exactly what I heard him tell the other two upset customers. I refused out of principle due to the fact the man shook my hand and said I had at least 90 days, and within the month his product was defective. He then proceeded to ask me to leave as he didn't want other customers overhearing my reasonable objections. I have filed complaints with numerous consumer agencies and have been in contact with local reporters to investigate the several recent allegations against this establishment. Do NOT go to this place to get your phone repaired. They charged $140 to fix an iPhone 6 screen for me and they replaced it with a defective screen. I've been having issues with the touch screen since it was repaired and I also have a black line going through my screen. I took my phone back hoping they would fix their faulty work and the guy threatened me. He pretends he doesn't know english, but his English was just fine until I told him there was a problem. Then suddenly he didn't speak English and was threatening me. There are cheaper places to go that do better work. read more

Great place! I was recommended by a friend here after dropping my phone and shattering my screen plus more internal damage. They were able to repair it in about 15 min like new. The next day I noticed that my camera wasn't working and brought it back to the store. They took my phone apart and weren't sure exactly how the damage happened or if it was even related to the case of me dropping it, but they fixed it for me free of charge because they didn't notice the damage the i first came in. Brought in a cracked iPad with dented corners. One hour later - for $129 instead of $799 to replace it - I walked out with what looked like a new iPad. The owner was very friendly, the storefront is comfortable and relaxed, they don't try to sell you extra nonsense (there is barely anything else there to buy) and you can see the owner working in the back on your equipment. I had used the mail-in service twice before and missed my iPad for the 3-4 day turnaround. For about the same price, iPulse was able to get it done in an hour. A true success. read more

Came in here a little desperate on a Saturday morning when I failed in trying to surprise my wife by fixing her iphone battery. They fixed it in about 2 minutes, explained what I did wrong, and were able to tell me that even though I lost one of the screws that it wouldnt be a problem. One thing to know how to fix the phone, another thing to communicate the issue. I had to demand that I pay them because they didnt want to charge me.
