Been here a few times for pedicures and once for a manicure and I had great service each time. Only once have I ever waited more than a few mins to get in the chair (and I made that appt. last minute on the busiest day of the week). Jonathan gave me an excellent gel manicure and I will be getting another one from him soon! The store is clean and bright, I enjoy the atmosphere even when it's busy. Horrible ghetto customer service. This place lacks customer service on every level and literally has no shame. The interior may "look nice" but trust me it's just lipstick on a pig. The old lady with the stiff face at the front is so rude and she does not try and at all to come to solutions and be accountable for terrible services. I asked for a Halloween theme, and the very loud funny guy that sits by the front desk agreed to do a ghost and spider web. The web was mediocre and the ghost looked like a SPERM. I immediately went back in after I left and ask him to fix it, failed again. By this time It's was 30mins past closing and I just thought I'll come back tomorrow and not keep them any later. I came back the next day and the rude lady at the front which idk if she's the owner or manager was just so offended and difficult when I asked for it to be removed or fixed. She said come back again at 5. I came closer to 530, it's rush hour!! She then tried to argue with me about the time and how she's doing me a favor by getting me back in to fix my nail. Mind you I paid for a design and it was horrible, and I tipped!!!! This lady is so entitled and has a nasty way of doing business. And her and the other lady that works at the front laughed at the mans nail design and agreed it didn't look like a ghost. Really??? I don't write reviews very often but I feel like my experience deserves one. I walked-in today to have my acrylic tips removed (I had them placed elsewhere). The technician I saw today started by putting my hands in a bowl of hot acetone (a baggie of acetone sitting in a bowl of steaming water and washcloths). I questioned if this was ok since I've never experienced that before and she said yes. While using the dremmel to remove the acrylic, she cut the skin of my cuticle. This happens, and I was understanding. However it then happened on 2 other fingers on my other hand. It seemed careless at that point. My hands were covered with acetone residue and she put some sort of oil on my nail bed where it was bleeding - and it started to FIZZ and BUBBLE like hydrogen peroxide would! It stung so bad and I told her it was hurting and she said it was fine. I told her I did not want to continue getting my nails done (I was going to get a powder dip) and that I just wanted the acrylic off so I could leave. On my way out, I pointed this out to the manager at the register, in addition to the glue (?) and white paste all over my fingertips. I was told it was "just skin." I understand bad days and accidents happen but this was not acceptable and I felt dismissed, as the technician was laughing while apologizing. This was 12 hours ago and my hands are still burning, even if water touches them. I'm pretty sure I experienced some sort of chemical burn, as they're painful, red and swollen. I will absolutely never return and the only reason I gave one star is because it was clean inside. read more

Less than 24 hours my gel manicure was bubbling and peeling. I went back in the next day and the lady at the front said they'd fix it right away.. 35 minutes of waiting to finally be sat in a chair. I had 2 different technicians try to fix the mistake. The first kept getting up and doing other things while trying to redo my manicure. Both ladies hurt my skin multiple times as well. Bad quality products and poor technicians. Bad service and will not be comping back. I've been getting my nails done for 12+ years and I've never experienced a place like this. read more

I felt a little misled when it came to the pricing of this nail salon. When asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, I pointed and said the classic pedicure which was $30. Where I'm from, Gel is a $5-$10 increase. During my pedi the man asked if I wanted a sugar scrub. I said yes because what pedicure doesn't include a scrub?? End price was $54 for a pedicure not including tip. Toes were not even shaped great and the polish didn't look that great for a $54 pedicure (not including tip). Overall, the pedi consisted of lotion, hot towels, and massage and gel. I've been to places way cheaper that automatically include scrub, hot stones, and orange slices for a way cheaper price. Found it ridiculous that a pedicure, on unpolished toes, was more than an acrylic dip manicure. And it didn't even look that good!! Service also wasn't that great. Cute place and that's about it. I really don't enjoy doing these; I'm giving 3 stars because the service I received was excellent and Sara was a really gentle and sweet woman. The young man running the cashier was also really sweet. I'm only doing this because I went in yesterday for a manicure to remove existing dip powder that I had, and I opted for a full service manicure that was $21 and included a simple nail color. I thought it was fantastic. But I'm really disappointed that I went in just yesterday and already today my nails are all chipping. I know it's just nail polish color but when I do my own nails they at least last me a week. These didn't even last me 24 hours so I'm a little upset about not having nice nails to go into work with tomorrow. I have been here at least 8-9 times and brought a friend with me almost every time. I've had to go back multiple times for fixing or redoing nails because they chip or the art comes off- its always something it feels like. But I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, I know things happen. I got dip one time awhile back and it chipped almost immediately, the guy told me it was my nails, said they grew upwards? So I never got dip again but that didn't seem like a real reason they just wanted to not take the blame for possibly rushing the process and not letting it set, we'll never know. I know I didn't like being told it was my problem, when they pushed the product on me after I repeatedly said no I would like gel. The real issue was this last time I went, it was a Saturday and I requested Jonathan, they got me sat with him and he said he couldn't see me today but this coming week was more free for a full set. I agreed, went to the front to rebook with him specifically and got my text and showed up for the appointment but I didn't get sat with Jonathan. I really thought the guy was going to just get me started but nope he started doing my tips right away. I was confused since Jonathan was sitting 2 seats next to me, I ignored it because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a mix up. But I could have gone anywhere to get this rushed nails that they did. I wanted Jonathan because I know he is the best tech there. He takes his time and is super neat and always leaves me feeling great. I was slightly annoyed. I moved past it and got even a pedicure/ not the cheap one. I get to the check out ~120$ and think this is where I need to say something and let them know of the mistake. The lady tells me its MY fault for the mix up and I should have clicked the link in the text confirmation. I did not book this appointment- this was the person who booked it on Saturday. She then proceeds to show me MY mistake on my phone. I just couldn't believe she was telling me I booked my appointment wrong, and when I pressed that I did not book it she tells me it could have been a error in their system but it is still my fault for not looking at the link. I'm sorry but If I book with you, you input the information wrong, that's YOUR fault. She wasn't taking no for an answer and I wasn't about to make a real issue about it but I want others to know they don't care about your satisfaction or anything here they just will tell you your wrong. I wasn't asking for compensation, I just wanted them to apologize at the very least and look into it. They were closing and had a line so I was the last person they wanted to help. I wont be coming back and I will make sure none of my friends do either. I hope others see this and stay away. read more

I have lived in Phoenix for 6 years now and I haven't found a nail salon that was worth coming back to. I went to iPolish today and Andy took such good care of me. He took off my old acrylics, gave me a beautiful SNS set, and even added this amazing sunflower while I got my toes done. Receptionist told me they would have an appointment in an hour and I happily said I would take it. I've been in a few times for SNS manicures and I've only had a good experience one time but I kept going thinking maybe the next time would be better. Most recently I went in for an SNS manicure and the man I had drilled down the previous SNS to the point that I could feel the heat from the drill on my nail and it was painful. He didn't do a base layer of the SNS dip, only did 2 coats of a light color, and refused to give me a gel top coat which I explicitly asked for. The first time I went here I loved it. The nail tech did great work and I was very happy with my set. So I made an appointment for a fill. The second time around I got a different nail tech. She started my fill and grabbed clear acrylic. I stopped her and told her the original tech had used a colored acrylic and since I was getting a French, it would be noticeable if there was a different color. She argued with me that the original acrylic was clear. I mean I could see it was a different color. It's already so uncomfortable speaking up at the nail salon so the fact that she was arguing with me made it worse. She brought out colored acrylics and told me none of them matched. She was visibly annoyed and I apologized for being difficult but said I was 100% sure the other tech had used a color acrylic. She went on for about 15 mins. Finally she asked the original tech.. to which she replied yes, she used a colored acrylic and brought it out. So.. finally that was figured out and I sighed a breath of relief. Well we got started on gel polish. I showed her two pictures of what I wanted (last picture of my review). What she did is.. similar but definitely not what I wanted. This set is less that 24 hours old and it looks BAD. there are black specs under the clear top coat. The top part of the nail is VISIBLY Chunkier than the base of the nail. The acrylic is lifting. I am highly considering going somewhere to get them redone because they look BAD. read more

I had a nail dip done, he is very detailed at doing it correctly, gave attention not only to the shape of my nail bed but cleaned up my cuticles and the sides of my nails. I waited until I went here a few times to write a review. I will start off by saying I have had decent experiences with pedicures at this place. But my issue comes with the eyebrow waxing services. When I went in today, there was a worker guy laying on the waxing table that they just have a dusty pink towel on that I am unsure even gets washed. The guy got up, and the lady just asked me to lay down. I had to ask her to put the paper over the table for sanitization. And every time I get my eyebrows done here they are very rough. They will push your head to the side with no warning instead of vocalizing and telling you to turn your head. Today, the lady put her hands all over my face and not just around the eyebrow areas which was very unnecessary. I did not see her sanitize her hands prior to starting. They will apply pressure to your eyeball too excessively as if it is not attached to you. I do not recommend this place if you would like a good experience. read more

Made an appointment the day before but was seated approx. 45 minutes after I had checked in on time. I asked if I was going to be late for my dinner reservation and one of the techs assured me I would be fine. I then had my nails and toes done simultaneously in a rush resulting in my cuticles getting cut twice. The lady who did my toes seemed only to care about upgrading my pedi package. At one point I had to tell her to stop rubbing my leg with the sugar scrub because she was scrubbing so vigorously in the same spot while taking to her coworker and not paying attention. Worst mistake of my life was coming to this place! I used to come and it was a decent salon. Made an appointment for 6 as their last appointment is 6. I show up my tech Tommy walks up very unprofessional and says who? He asked how my day was And I said long and asked about his and he has this attitude and says yeah I am off work also. But I will do your pedicure! He guides me to my chair as he finishes taking the gel off my toes he starts clipping and clips to far without even looking at the toe and cuts. Toe wouldn't stop bleeding, he then sprays what I assume is rubbing alcohol and pats it with towel and squeezes and says you will be okay. Mind you the whole time he's on the phone. Never again! Beware!!! I have been to several nail salons since moving to Phoenix a year and a half ago and this has been the absolute worst. I tried this salon because my technician moved to this salon. Parking is a nightmare as you are competing for a space with a major grocery store and several other small businesses. I am not accustomed to not being able to look over color options while waiting. I was told "they will bring the colors to you". What if you have no idea what color you are considering. In this case I had a picture of a color I wanted on my nails and since I could not look at other colors just decided to get the same thing on my toes. Even after showing a picture they didn't have the chrome color I wanted so I ended up with nails that looked nothing like the picture. I saw no sign of the tools being used as being disinfected between clients. This tells me they have no regard for their client's safety. The chairs for the manicure are so close to one another you often bump into your neighbor. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the salon. They also charge a debit card surcharge. I understand why merchants do this with credit cards as there is a processing fee but I think it is dishonest to charge your customers a surcharge with a debit card. They do have an ATM machine you can use that also has a surcharge fee. They also only accept tips in cash. When I asked about these things the woman at the front was incredibly rude! Apparently she doesn't realize it is because of clients she has a job. I don't believe I have ever written a negative review but this visit warrants my first one.
